Yoda and Gandalf still need the great understudy…. Without Matt going forward we will see how it all turns out…. That dude would make any fitter look like a genius…
Honestly you guys bring the best content. It's just so good, even comparing it across multiple genres of content on UA-cam. Genuinely think this is the best channel on the platform right now.
Love everything about it except the nano poly cover. I'm an expert in paint coatings and they try to say the same thing in the new coatings. Needless to say there not good! Hopefully they last longer than what I've experienced. Time will tell. Great content as always boys glad to see you back.
How did I miss this video from y’all? Great session with Trottie and yeah. All three of you together, that’s some serious talent and knowledge in the room (on that range). More please.
Trottie is one of the few company representatives that is able to deliver knowledge and enthusiasm together in perfect harmony. Most err towards the salesmanship end of the spectrum and lose credibility to the viewer (well, to me at least). Bravo Trottie! You and Voshall are in a class all of your own.
Matt you do an amazing job at questioning the product as a buyer!! Ian is an amazing fitter but your cross exam questions are always great!! Great team !! Great work boys
Three Musketeers, I just love the positive energy & chemistry that you Guys generate👍👍 That is the most comfortable that Matty has ever been with a TM Driver in his hands, I'm already looking forward to the TXG Drive Bracket👍👍
Carbon baseball bats get hotter the more they break in. It’s curious if these have the same effect. Also the older carbon faced drivers had much different layup. They had a significant increase in the amount of resin used.
Re-watching this, I have a question that I think only Taylormade can really answer: how durable will that nano-texture be? If it’s the final layer of carbon, it can’t be very thick. Will it still retain the same spin characteristics for the full season? Two? Five?
Nice to see Trottie never took his jobby catchers off for the video 😅 Joking aside, another great analysis and insight into the new Taylormade drivers. Keep up the good work, by far the best golf tech delivery videos on UA-cam.
Maybe a game changer for how drivers are made but what comes to performance seems like it just like the last 5 drivers, performance is just the same. 😬👌
@@NovaScene The big selling point for the stealth is the consistency though with non center strikes. I have buddies that have been testing these for the last month and they all said the same thing.
This is just in time as I'll be on the disabled list a while with a strained hip... Coffee, heating pad and new @TXG Tour Experience content hopefully keeps me sane until I can swing the stix again.
nice job boys. absolutely loving the Red face ,, very good move Talyormade ,, and that's just the color I'm not talking about the Tech,, Thanks loving it!!
Are the carbon layers, forged carbon or carbon weave? Both have strengths and weaknesses and since the face is designed to be hit it really is something that should be explained. This one of the only applications of carbon fiber that I know of that is designed to be hit over and over again.
Happy New Year TXG. Been waiting for this one. Interesting that it now brings TM into the useable window for Matt. Get those studio Quad video's uploaded ASAP please. Must be said though...Lotta cashola for a club!!.
Top top content again guys thank you. Looks like Taylormade have smashed it with the new stealth range. Cool new tech Cool name Fitted by Trottie and Ian And Matty likes it 😱 Ring up the check, it’s going in the bag!!!
Wow - do I ever wish I was down in Cali after seeing this video!! Lil jealous...okay, a lot jealous. That carbon face drive looks like a real technological advance.
Happy new year guys. Will this clubface scratch the ball the same as some cnc driver faces? I have a friend with a cobra driver and after some shots the ball looks like it has some feathers around it.
Great video ! In a future video can you give some opinion on wear and tear on a carbon face please. Including a nice shaft, I could be looking at spending £700 on this club so couldn’t tolerate it looking like it’s been run over by a truck after 12 months. Thoughts?
There always has to be a talking point when it comes to new product and the 60 layers of carbon is surely that. It will be interesting to see its shelf life.
Would be interested why these numbers are so much different to their studio numbers for most driver tests if he is swinging it well as it pertains to distance? Perhaps it’s time to set studio numbers to a more realistic baseline. Also, certain aerospace manufacturers cannot seem to figure Carbon layering stress longevity as it correlates to metallics bonding. How will this merging hold over time and will the epoxys injected through the bagging process “brittle” with temperature changes over the summer leaving the driver in extreme conditions I.E. 160 degrees if you left it in your car or 200+ degrees if you left the driver exposed in the summer sun with the black crown?
Possibly Quote of the season… ~”…if it was up to me I’d be going to the tour truck right now for your back up driver” In 2022, Can you imagine two, well deserved TM drivers for Matty Boy?
Great video but what happened with Matty? I found this channel during COVID and have loved all of the content that him and Ian have put out. Definitely hasn't been the same lately without him.
Wouldn’t any benefit from the face material be limited by cor restrictions? Only performance benefit I can imagine would be weight distribution/forgiveness or lighter weight adding swing speed.
Got an iron fitting Jan 12 with Dean unless the latest coof restrictions result in cancellations. Hope not had a great time with my driver fitting last summer with Dean
Getting a fit from Trottie and Ian together is like a hero getting trained by Yoda and Gandalf.
😂👌

Pass you shall not!
This comment is facts of the year
We need a Rogue ST Max LS vs this. And a sim vs sim 2 vs stealth!

Trottie joining TXG feels like Gimli joining the fellowship of the ring.
...and my axe!
Love Gimlets!
So if Trottie is Gimli,
is Matty Legolas (he may need to shave the beard to make this work)?
Who is Ian Aragorn or Gandolf??
Took me a second to get it but now I’m dying 🤣

Love seeing trottie with Ian as a standby. Ian by far the expert in the room

This is THE key question of the whole thing. How long does my $1,000 CDN driver last for?
This question won’t get answered, sadly.
@@maplesirup24 For the bargain price of $1000 CAD, you can sign up to be a durability and QA tester for TaylorMade lol
Great question and I share your thoughts. It’s tempting to bite on picking one of these up but I’m in the ‘not a guinea pig’ camp.
@@craciunator99 cracked 2 of the SIM heads. R9 TP was a tad better than the R7.
This was fun and a great way to kick off your season on this channel. A really fun kickoff presentation for 2022. Have a great year guys.
I prefer the blues and grays of the SIM lines, but the new carbon face is interesting for sure. Interesting new terminology at 2:48 - "Carbonwood"
Love it! You guys are great alone, then you added Trottie! I'm so excited to play the Stealth this year as a TM staffer!

You guys rock and Trottie is icing on the cake! Thanks TXG!
These videos are great and well worth the wait! Very much looking forward to seeing the tinkering back at HQ.
What a way to start a Tuesday morning!
The best part about all the new releases (fill in any brand name) is last years model they gushed over just dropped to half price!
Very minimal gains, if any is always comical after all the hype!
Looks like a real game changer, great to see Trottie in a TXG video as well.

Such a good video. Trottie is so full of energy!
Welcome back boys

Great video gents. Trottie is money. Please have him on again.
Great video I have played a full round with it and it’s so good on the course.

Cool new tech
Cool name
Fitted by Trottie and Ian
And Matty likes it 😱

Wouldn't tee'ing it up higher fix the TSi3 spin issue Dirty Dog was having?

was that the stealth+ or the regular stealth in the video?
You should test a wet club face Vs dry
Callaway C4 has entered the chat*
I remember the Callaway C6, will consumers move to a full carbon wood ?
Where'd you guys play while you were down here in San Diego?

Trottie: Why don't you tee it up higher now and have a go

Loved the video tho Ian. 👍🏼👌🏼
It looked to me like VIRTUALLY ALL the gain came AFTER tee height adjustment
Is Matty getting back to the longer backswing??? Or is it just the camera angle? 🤔
The smash factor on this driver is off a bit (around 1.47). Are you guys using range balls? My Epic Flash ◇◇◇ is always around 1.5.
