Thank you for review and really what you said correct about controllers & drones as my experience with both kit...TinyGo much more more better than Cetus to learn fast about fpv... thanks again.
I had the GepRC, and accidentally lost it within the first couple months. It was 100% my fault. I actually just ordered this BetaFPV kit as a replacement mainly for the controller. I was disappointed to find out the GepRC controller was not able to be use with other drones.
I think if GEPRC would have a control that is compatible with other drones and can connect to the simulator, it will be a perfect starter kit. The weak point of that kit is the remote.
I bought the Cetus Pro Kit and the truth is that it has gone very well in these three months and I have learned a lot... Someting that @NordFPV did not tolk about is the durability. Cetus Pro is made with Nylon PA12 I have hit it against everything... concrete, walls... it has fallen from a very high distance after hitting it and barely and it has a scratch and the components... FC, motors and camera are in perfect condition.. For a Begginner that is a very great plus. Because a friend broke his Eachine drone in only three fligths..
No. I haven't seen that on any other FPV drone but the Cetus. And to be honest is not very popular. I don't think it worked correctly and forces the drone to run a different firmware than betaflight, which makes things even more complicated.
@@NordFPV Yes, i like the pro version since its already has brushless motors and and bigger in size.. But i would be using my other fpv goggles which can record the footages, i have an Fxt viper i use on my RC fpv'ing
I have not tried the Cetus pro myself, but it looks good. The two down sides I can see on that drone are: 1.-Cetus pro has the same weird modes as Cetus, which don't really do anything for my point of view, and 2.-As always, Betafpv quality control is very doubtful, and anythign coming from them is always a lottery, and there are big chances you get something that won't work and you will spend a lot of time and energy fighting with customer support.
@@NordFPV I have really I have return 2 drones already for Betafpv so I’m gettin the new Cetus pro just see how good it is if it doesn’t work I’ll get the geprc tinygo ..
I have not tested the cetus X, but it’s betafpv, and their history of bad quality will follow wherever they go. GEPRC is about to get the new version of the tinygo, hopefully in time for Xmas
For FPV newcomer that wants to cruise longer range, is it better to start with these kits and to invest in better equipment later, or to buy quality goggles (skyzone cobra X) + TX12/ TX16 Radiomaster, and quad like ELRS Crux3 NLR / Rekon 3 as starting point?
It's a difficult question. Assume you like FPV, then will like to upgrade your kit almost immediately, and second hand value for this kits is not great. So assuming you may like FPV starting with cobra x+TX12+ drone is a better option. But if you assume that you won't like it, then of course it's better to start with a kit. So, the kits are good options if you are 50/50 into FPV, but if you have tested it before, and you just want to start in FPV and want to grow on it, then a self picked kit is better.
@@NordFPV Thanks for your answer ! Does my pick makes sense as longer run investment (CobraX+TX12+Crux3NLR)? Is Cobra X sufficient for long range module upgrades for expanding even to fixed wing FPV?
@@brezovprut4431 I think that is a very good package! The receiver in the Cobra X is very good, it's of course not the top of its class, but it's VERY good
This video is somehow old, and I believe the current radio GEPRC offer can be connected to a sim by USB. Also, the new radio is ELRS and that you can connect wirelessly to your computer easily and use in a sim
Contrarian...... no good flight controller, I do not care how much better the drone. Yes, Geprc better drone that is it. Cetus Pro for me. The overall integrated system is better to fly for a beginner.
I bought one of these drones, big mistake! Don't fly steady, sloppy controls, Battery only about 60 seconds. Small piece of junk, real crap. Don't buy!

Thanks for the explanation it was crystal clear compare with other youtubers i'm thinking to go tinygo
you cannot connect transmitter to simulator

I already bought the cactus pro. I'm just watching to see if it was a good buy.
Hey, can you share your experience so far ? I’m looking to get one of these so thank you in advance

Thnk u so much for this review
Clears my mind on which drone to buy 🙏
Thanks for watching. Which one did you decided for?
The Cetus x does support beta flight
I'm currently deciding between tiny go and Citus Pro
What would you pick out of those two?
Without a doubt the TinyGo. Unfortunately Betafpv equipment is not very trustable.

Thx for review🙂

Nice review. Thanks.
What is faster
Tinygo
Hello, your video is very good. I would like to know what is the most suitable configuration to fly indoors. I have geprc tyni thanks
Hi, thanks! What do you mean by "suitable configuration". I find the default values pretty good
Why not Cetus X???
At the time when the video was done the Cetus X didn’t exist. I have not tested the Cetus X so I can’t talk about it.
Nice review, do the Tiny Go have altitude hold(gyroscope sensor) like the Cetus?
No. I haven't seen that on any other FPV drone but the Cetus. And to be honest is not very popular. I don't think it worked correctly and forces the drone to run a different firmware than betaflight, which makes things even more complicated.
@@NordFPV i was planning to buy the Cetus pro, do you think its worth to buy, im after the altitude hold function just to learn easily on fpv drone.

At this point I am not sure it is a needed comparison. The geprc should outperform, they just put low quality things around a more powerful drone
CETUS X / Tinygo😢😢❤❤
hi i just made a deal at 330$ with cetus kit with meteor 65hd included is it worth it ??
The Cetus kit (not pro) cost new 160 USD, meteor 65 new 150 USD. Are you buying them new? If they are second hand it sound a bit of a high price

Hey the cetus pro can carry any micro cam?
Hey Kavin. I have not tested the Cetus pro, but looking at the specs I don't think it can carry any kind of action camera

How long does it take for one battery to fill up?
It depends on your charger and what you use to feed the charger but around 30 min is a good average.
