Just got this kit less than a week ago and the FPV gate-keeping has already started. I can tell you, the kit is great for 300$, don't let people try to talk you out of it or into something unmanageable.
I know what you mean. I have been flying dji drones since 2019 and just got a sudden interest in trying something new and I keep landing back on this Cetus x as it has a bit of everything to get a newbie in without too much money and having to piece together and source your own stuff which isn’t easy as a newbie. Everything is well thought out and quality (especially considering the price) even if it isn’t the best of the best; great props, simple robust design, ELRS, DVR, 3 flight modes for progression, safety features built with newbies in mind. So I’m supposed to spend $500 on an fpv to put together myself when I don’t even know anything yet and not sure I’m going to like it? I keep hearing the same things; “oh those motors are weak, you need the mobula 5/6/7/8, pick up these goggles, this controller, etc etc. those goggles /controller are trash.” Winds up being tons more money and they don't seem to even come with cameras let alone dvr. This fpv comes with everything so a newbie can get practice and experience everything and see if they like the hobby. Gotta start somewhere. Meanwhile it seems that most people who own or used the Cetus x are satisfied.
I just won this at Mindfield 4.0 drone meetup in Brownsville Tennessee.😎 All I did was watch your video and I had this in the air with confidence! Thank you Captain Drone✊

As usual, great video Captain Drone! Thanks for sharing the review. Content creators like you are great for those of us that cannot find time to buy and test so much equipment!
Hello Captain you are an inspiration to myself and countless others that like to be entertained while we learn how to move things from a distance. I have watched so many wonderful and educational videos you have made it’s mind boggling that could be my problem because my mind boggles so easily. You’re right if you gusts I want something. Could you tell me exactly what to watch to download and use the cetus x simulator. I’m the old man that tries to comment on your videos a time or two. I have what’s called acquired Dyslexia you know head trauma things like that. It’s challenging to say the least navigating in this maze of letters and numbers. About 45 minutes on this so far. I tried using a computer the first time ever today. I served.4 years US Navy so I guess I’m not stupid but if I am I still smile a lot. Thank you and I hope you can read this I can’t
Hi Jerry, my only suggestion is to keep watching UA-cam videos on the FPV drone you own as everyone usually shows things in a different manner. As for a simulator, I don't use any because I fly outdoors, so I really can't recommend any. If you are new to computers, its best you avoid simulators for awhile because you have to own a radio and connect it to the computer, and then when you use a simulator you have to calibrate the joysticks so that the simulator knows what is in your hand and how far in each direction you are moving the sticks. If you can find someone to help you, then you can usually find a FREE very basic simulator to enjoy.
Thank you so much Captain it’s obvious you are trying hard to help. I have a cetus x radio I mentioned in a comment and the computer is my daughter’s she used it to get her accounting degree she doesn’t use it anymore the computer or the degree. When I said watch what meant was show her so I don’t take up too much of her time I do know how to use the simulator, calibrations and things because I see some things here and some other places but I can’t Explain it to her or show 10 or 15 videos Ive seen it on You did the best you could and it’s much appreciated. Great video thanks for making the subject so approachable, you explain everything very clearly and don't treat newbies like idiots for not knowing things 👍
I have since 2023-04 an antenna mod video. In my opinion, the perfect antenna for the Cetus X FPV kit suitcase and for other quads with a circular antenna !
CAUTION: Purchased Cetus X BNF version ELRS. Took a while to get in the air b/c I had to exchange a transmitter over Christmas. Flashed all firmwares (took time) then finally got out flying. On second day out was doing a simple roll and the FC locked out. Quad crashed. The super tiny snap connector the VTX plugs into broke off the board. Contacted BetaFPV expecting either warranty replacement or replacement part. BetaFPV did not warranty and stated “WE DO NOT OFFER REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THIS ISSUE, YOU MAY PURCHASE A NEW UNIT” (entire new quad). Contacted distributor RDQ and they stated there was no replacement parts. I would not recommend this product. Very negative experience. Working on video to show others.
I purchased mine from AliExpress, shop called BEYONDSKY and they were nothing but helpful. My camera lens fell off the sensor one day after 2 weeks of ownership, I contacted them and they sent me a brand new one free of charge in the post from china. To be honest I was expecting it to happen because I had read a review somewhere that their camera came off so when I saw it was missing I wasn’t surprised. Seems to be an issue as the camera is screwed into the canopy so if you repeatedly hit things it will transfer the shock to the camera lens. What I will say is they came take an absolute beating. Smashed mine multiple times into wall, ceiling and it’s fine. I even disarmed over a river, pulled it out and it was fine even the lipos still work (don’t recommend using damaged lipos)
That's helpful. I'm about to order the BNF X. Have a Radiomaster pocket TX with ELRS here. Some ppl report having a hard time binding the cetus. What's your suggestion instead?
@@beardawgstudios you didnt have to flash any firmware. All you had to do was get it into wifi mode and edit your bind phrase to that of your radios. Snapping the antenna connector off the board obviously isnt covered under warranty. And all you had to do was swap the board with any 1s aio fc with built in elrs.
Excellent video What I would like to add for those thinking of buying this and are new to the hobby is sadly betafpv has a poor reputation in the hobby. Quality control and customer service is almost none existent.
Nice video Steve! That is a really nice kit for beginners getting into this crazy challenging hobby. Lol I really like that they gave it enough power and the elrs to be able to fly outside if desired! Thank you again for another very informative video!! HAPPY FLYING! 🤗😉😎
Many thanks for sharing Captain; another option to look at for us Troops who are not sure about the best and most cost effective way to put a toe in the "FPV" water !!!
Steve the Bind button is on the bottom of the controller, and by the way my arrives, i wish you was here to teacher me how to perfect fly this thing,Lol I love your videos, thank you so much for everything
Betafpv is really helpful with their ready to fly kits! I hope 🤞 I can get my hands on one of these. Enjoying the speedybee flex 25 also. Need to get better with Betaflight and understanding the interface. As always thanks for sharing so many useful tips! #stayepic
Great review, too bad of the lack of accommodation for glasses, seems like an oversight on their design. In this day and age one would think that would be standard.
In your link to purchase this drone, appear "Cetus X FC" and "Cetus X Betaflight FC". Both has the word FC. It is a bit confusing because in a previous comment you mentioned that any model with FC in the name does not connect to Betaflight software, but this one actually does.
FC means the drone is NOT using BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR and is instead using BETAFPV configuration software. This is usually because the FC beginner kits have an optical flow camera on the bottom which is something that does not exist in the real FPV hobby so that is why BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR can’t be used.
At ~5:00, mentioned.. "this kit is not on the market but hope it is by the time this video comes out." Available Y/N ? Captain discount? This looks great! Hmmm saw the kit, used 5% discount, payment not accepted. Could be the hour or ...? I will update accordingly.
Great video! I am considering this and also the Emax Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle, how would you say the performance of this drone is in comparison? It seems to me like the Tinyhawk Freestyle is better at tricks and maneuvering quickly but I could be completely wrong...
I would say, add the Aquilla16 to your potential drones to buy. I did a review on it recently. FPV beginner ready to fly kits are designed to get people into the FPV hobby, but some do it better than others by being easier to fly for some beginners that lack hand/eye coordination.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798I saw your review on that aswell, it is definitely a good option. Still though, I gravitate towards the Freestyle or the Cetus X because I feel like they are going to be able to grow with me a bit more as I progress. Out of the two though, did you have a clear preference in terms of freestyle performace? Thanks!
Great video, thank you very much! Have purchased Cetus x RTF system now. I am beginner in this FPV "world" and unfortunatelly I also do have glasses so I wonder how to use for ex. fat shark goggles like one you have, what to buy and how to connect these new goggles to drone? Your answer would be much preciated, thank you very much for your time.
Awesome review Cap. It seems they remove the optical flow...😪no more altitude hold for this version then. Same motors as the Beta85 Pro 2 so this can carry a Firefly x Lite 2 as well. 👍
Great review and seems like BetaFPV fixed all little things from the original model. Goggles with DVR, adjustable camera angle, USB port for Betaflight. Maybe just the batteries could have been proper 2S.
I feel like they went with 2 one s batteries because if they catch fire they are not as dangerous as 2s. What I think would have been useful would have been an adapter for 1 s so you could fly indoors more easily for beginners.
@@diegofelipe2119 I like to charge mine on tiles. You can get them from Home Depot or lowes and if you charge your batteries on them if they catch fire hopefully it won’t spread to carpets or wood 🪵 could save your house. Just never charge a battery unattended. Get a lipo bag to store your batteries in when not being used.
Unfortunately, I received yesterday Cetus Pro kit. Before purchasing I was searching something with DVR and ELRS, I found Cetus X quad, but there was no kit with it. And it was strange for me. Finally, after the day I've received Cetus Pro kit without DVR and ELRS, BetaFPV announced their new Cetus X kit. Cetus Pro is still very nice, but I feel a bit upset because I'd better wait 10 days and bought Cetus X kit if there were any news or something
Holiday man. That happens often in the world of technology with new products coming out all the time. You could either return your product if unopened or sell it and get the Cetus X
Nice! I'll have to get it, just lost about 1k in drones and radios. Had a 6s explode and caught my house and fpv stuff on fire, luckly I had a fire extinguisher. Thank goodness for smoke alarms or I'd be homeless.
Is the Betaflight VTX Configuration free or do you have to pay for it? Also what is the VTX once you just open the box and not touching anything in your first flight?
Good review Steve. If possible explain the difference between Cetus, Cetus pro and Cetus X in one of your videos. I was about to buy Cetus pro but now I am thinking again. I have DJI and Holy Stone drones but little bored with flying camera drones. I am thinking of entering FPV drones along with taking videos and inspecting roof and walls. I live in Japan and am a retired old man. I like sailing, riding, golf and droning.
Here is your answer: Cetus designed for indoors mostly. Cetus Pro designed for indoors and some outdoors. Cetus X is a true FPV Whoop that is great indoors and outdoors, and the goggles record video.
believe me, just go with Cetus X. Cetus Pro is a solid starter, it's trying to tackle what the original cetus can't: more power, fly outdoors. But, somehow ending up having flaws on both ends, indoors and outdoors. outdoors: yes, it's more powerful brushless, but it is still 1S battery. Morning fly is your best bet, can't really fly good even on just a little windy day. indoors: camera angle. That's the problem. It is just too high. If you are new to the fpv world, the drones fly in a forward angle, so the camera need to be angled too. The faster the drone fly, the more extreme the angle is. This is becoming a problem when flying indoor, because when you fly too fast, you hit things, but if you fly too slow, the camera will face up, you can't see a thing, and you hit things. Original cetus is actually better at indoor flying, since the motor is slower, so even with the extreme angle, it is still slow enough to fly indoors. The other crucial thing is range. The vtx power is capped at 25mW, and the goggles only use internal on board antenna, you'll lost visual really fast really short. Also, the goggles doesn't have dvr, so you can't record with it. Don't get me wrong, I love my cetus pro, I even ended up rigging it here and there and still using it occasianally for fun, or just let my friends try it out with no worries at all, since it sure can take a beating! all in all, It is good for starter, but you'll outgrow it way too fast. This cetus X seems to answer all my problems with cetus pro. Or if you don't mind some learning and youtube searching, combination of mobula 7 (drone), jumper t pro (tx), and eachine ev800d (goggles) will be my suggestion pick for tinywhoop starter. Bet you'll end up with similar budget with that.
Thank you for this video. For flying indoors, it seems like a big jump from 25mw to 100mw. Will 25mw really provide sufficient power output for indoor flying? Would you recommend 25 or 100 for absolute beginners?
Hey Captain, FYI - I clicked the link to look at the rtf kits and the information there said the receivers were Frsky 8. Not elrs. I would rather have elrs over Frsky. Love watching your videos:)
Nice package for someone like myself who has never tried it 🙂 I have a old set of goggles... well they're brand new, never used from my Parrot Bebop 2.... I have flown the drone many times and I think it's great but never had the nerve to fly it in that configuration....😆😆😆 I know eh... what a wimp... 😄
Super thank you for the very detailed review and for your usual kindness! You are my (our) point of reference for the FPV world 🙂 Have you had the opportunity or will you have the opportunity soon to test the Cetus x HD RTF kit? I would be interested in purchasing but before I would like to see a review of Captain Done first! 🙂🙂
I mentioned it to BETAFPV and they are not sending out units for review at this time because they want to see if there is an interest for this product. I think they have it backwards.
Really want to get into FPV, but wear glasses. So will all those who ware glasses have to go out and get contacts? Nice review and a price most can live with to get started.
Great kit. I bought the beta fpv racing rtf kit and am having binding/calibration issues with it. The Cetus x kit isn’t showing up on the beta fpv site yet.
I made this review video awhile ago and published it today because BETAFPV was planning on launching the CETUS X KIT today. I have not heard if it has been delayed.
Very informative as always 👌👌 Can't find the Cetus X rtf bundle available in EU yet, only the previous/older models, but looks very interesting and I'll definitely be on the lookout for the Cetus X as it seems to be a good alternative to FPV flying if one doesn't want to invest in the much more expensive DJI FPV
@@basti7551 Thought about that too but i'd like to have a shop from germany reselling it for warranty reasons. Some shops are getting it soon here tho:)
Hello! Great video! And Hello from Geneva in Switzerland. I have a question… Do you know how to put the profile 2 PID? I hear that the cetus x fly very better with it. when I try it nothing works, I have to go back on profile 1.
Prior to that, he successfully flew around the apartment with the BETAFPV Cetus Pro. But it is impossible to fly with BETAFPV Cetus X. The slightest movement of the stick and the drone flew into the wall, floor or ceiling. How can I solve this problem in the settings? How to reduce the power of the motors and the speed of the drone? I was already going to sell it, as I took it to fly in the apartment, and for the street I would take a completely different toy.
Hello, I have no experience with fpv drones (but with (camera) drones) and I want to buy the Cetus Pro or Cetus X. Now my question is if 100€/$ more for the Cetus X is worth it. (I would mainly fly outside).
Hey so just to be sure when flipping and rolling if you hold the toggle all the way to one direction and roll/ flip do you just release after the flip and the drone will correct it's self and stablise or do I need to do it
If you fly in HORIZON MODE then you just release the sticks. If you fly in the mode that everyone who flys FPV flys in (called ACRO, or AIR or MANUAL MODE), then you have to bring the drone back to the orientation you desire.
Hi, Thank you for this video. for a beginner, between the X and the Pro, which is bette r? Can the X be binding with the Radiomaster Pocket CC2500 instead of the LiteRadio ? Thankx
Thanks for all helpfull info. I never flyed in FPV and i'm going to buy something to learn and practice and this looks like a good option. Just a question pls. i wear big glasses, so what kind of goggles you may suggest me to pair/link with this drone? May i use also a DJI FPV V2 goggles , i mean if may use them, then i will use them for other drones in the futures. And a second question.... may. i use any simulator or just a Betafpv simulator? Thanks and liked and you earned a new follower! Great video!
Goggles all depend on your budget. The more you pay the more options there are for pro goggles that adjust to your eye sight. NOPE, you can't use DJI FPV Goggles. Use any simulator you wish as long as you have simple computer knowledge in attaching an external device and configuring it.
Over the last several years, my eyes have been getting more and more far sighted. I don't have any prescription glasses or contacts - I just use cheap reading glasses (+1.5 when I started but probably need at least +2.0 now) when I need do some close up work. Are there any RTF kits with googles that can accommodate glasses? My current fave RTF kit I've seen is the GepRC TinyGo (because you can put a Caddx Peanut camera on it for some great video quality), but that kit too has the box style googles common to all RTF kits. What can I do?
Hey! I'm a fan but is there likely any chance that they would make another better version of it? I'm planning to buy one and experience a different perspective of flying drones!😁
In my last video from yesterday (Final episode of my very first FPV) at the very end of the video, you can see in a picture what I will do with the parts of the Cetus X soon. (2,0 inch Twiglet Mini 2S). I only had to change the camera and the VTX, because the camera and VTX from the Cetus X are not compatible with the BETAFPV Micro Canopy 2022 that I really want. It would also be possible to use all parts of the Cetux X with the Crux3 canopy, for example, but the VTX would be loose in the canopy or is more difficult to attach and would probably need an insulated foil so that the VTX does not touch other circuit boards... However the advantage with the Crux3 canopy would be that you would be independent of the BETAFPV ecosystem…

You could buy the drone by itself and a BetaFPV remote 3 by itself. You just have to make certain that the receiver in the CETUS is the same as in the REMOTE (such as ELRS to ELRS).

Certainly suitable for beginners and the price is ~300 U$, whereas a DJI Avata costs 5 x more.
Thank you for the excellent review. Great video altogether. Take care from Canada eh!
Thanks for watching!
At ~5:00, mentioned.. "this kit is not on the market but hope it is by the time this video comes out."
Available Y/N ? Captain discount? This looks great!
Hmmm saw the kit, used 5% discount, payment not accepted. Could be the hour or ...? I will update accordingly.
Yes, I made the video awhile ago and launched it today because BETAFPV had planned to launch the kit today (it may be delayed?)
Thank you very much for a good review of this drone!!! There are a lot of useful things in this video for me!!!
Great video! Which simulator can use with this radio control? Thank you
Great video!
Thanks!
@@ML-cz8tdno preference. If you’ve watched all the reviews you certainly have a good idea of what suits your needs.
10:42 The best part of the entire video! WOOOOOAAAAAH
I loved the pro line. This is a drone I have to have. Even though I have a GEPRC crown 3. I have to have it
Great video, thank you very much!
When you buy expensive $500 FPV goggles you don’t need glasses as the goggles have two video screens and you can set each video screen for each eye.
Awesome review Cap. It seems they remove the optical flow...😪no more altitude hold for this version then. Same motors as the Beta85 Pro 2 so this can carry a Firefly x Lite 2 as well. 👍
Correct. They made it a true FPV drone.
Bro, send the Cetus Pro drone to Indonesia, bro
I’m looking forward to get in this fun hobby
But looks like I gotta stack up on battery😂
I’m just starting, would you pick this Cetus x rtf over the Tinyhawk 3 rtf?
I was wondering the same thing. I like that with the tinyhawk 3 you can take the goggles off and see the screen. The cetus x drone seems to do more.
I have the same question with it vs the Tinyhawk 3…
Yes... CETUS X is perfect for beginners to get started in the FPV hobby
Great review and seems like BetaFPV fixed all little things from the original model. Goggles with DVR, adjustable camera angle, USB port for Betaflight. Maybe just the batteries could have been proper 2S.
I really like the betafpv chargers! So cool that they come with a tester integrated and it is so easy to tell when the batteries are fully charged.
I feel like they went with 2 one s batteries because if they catch fire they are not as dangerous as 2s. What I think would have been useful would have been an adapter for 1 s so you could fly indoors more easily for beginners.
@@marcoreviews You mean they tend to catch fire while charging? Are there any tips to avoid this risk?
@@diegofelipe2119 I like to charge mine on tiles. You can get them from Home Depot or lowes and if you charge your batteries on them if they catch fire hopefully it won’t spread to carpets or wood 🪵 could save your house. Just never charge a battery unattended. Get a lipo bag to store your batteries in when not being used.
@@marcoreviews thanks for the tips!
Where can you buy the Cetus X kit? It says Stay tuned for more versions coming up.
Holiday man. That happens often in the world of technology with new products coming out all the time. You could either return your product if unopened or sell it and get the Cetus X
@@maxx6348 Maxx, the Cetus X kit was scheduled to launch today.
Hello there Capt. That's very nice....
Nice! I'll have to get it, just lost about 1k in drones and radios. Had a 6s explode and caught my house and fpv stuff on fire, luckly I had a fire extinguisher. Thank goodness for smoke alarms or I'd be homeless.
Yikes! Indoor fires are scary
Man, I'm recomend you to buy fireproof bags for storage and charging the LiPo batteries. It will save you and your house, trust me
It would be cool if you make a video about fpv sims, how accurate are they comparing to real life etc. ;)
Is the Betaflight VTX Configuration free or do you have to pay for it? Also what is the VTX once you just open the box and not touching anything in your first flight?
It should be free. I have no idea what channel/band it defaulted to out of the box, this is an old vid.
Here is your answer:
Cetus designed for indoors mostly.
@@deanzaka Thank you. Will wait fop Cetus X to be sold in Japan.
Good review capt. I have 1 input on the motor kV. It's actually 11000kV 👍🏻
Typo on my end
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 no problem at all Capt. 👍🏻
Love watching your videos:)
the betaflight fc version is elrs
Have another look, the kit is ELRS.
Nice package for someone like myself who has never tried it 🙂
I have a old set of goggles... well they're brand new, never used from my Parrot Bebop 2.... I have flown the drone many times and I think it's great but never had the nerve to fly it in that configuration....😆😆😆 I know eh... what a wimp... 😄
Great review! Can I use my Cobra X goggles with this? If not, are there any other goggles you would recommend for those of us who wear glasses?
If your Cobra X goggles are analog, then they will work.
Another great video. Please keep them coming. One question, is this kit simulator ready/compatible?
Yes, the remote works as an external USB controller. In the video I show and explain how to use it with flight sims.
Super thank you for the very detailed review and for your usual kindness! You are my (our) point of reference for the FPV world 🙂
Have you had the opportunity or will you have the opportunity soon to test the Cetus x HD RTF kit?
I would be interested in purchasing but before I would like to see a review of Captain Done first! 🙂🙂
I mentioned it to BETAFPV and they are not sending out units for review at this time because they want to see if there is an interest for this product. I think they have it backwards.
Thanks again for another great video
Hi, I am near sighted, which googles would be compatible? with lenses. Thank man.
You are out of luck as you’d have to buy expensive goggles and hope they work or buy prescription lenses.
Excellent Video, and Excellent Information. Thank You.
Really want to get into FPV, but wear glasses. So will all those who ware glasses have to go out and get contacts? Nice review and a price most can live with to get started.
Unfortunately you’d need some sort of specs on your eyes small in size like the kind you buy at a pharmacy for reading restaurant menus.
Love this guy. Most drone reviews are click bait or im smarter than you crap. This guy is passionate.
Instant buy, thanks Captain.
Bro your so good at teaching I love it❤
I appreciate that!
Great kit. I bought the beta fpv racing rtf kit and am having binding/calibration issues with it. The Cetus x kit isn’t showing up on the beta fpv site yet.
You aren’t able to connect the drone to betaflight?
I made this review video awhile ago and published it today because BETAFPV was planning on launching the CETUS X KIT today. I have not heard if it has been delayed.
@@kirbincap8307 In the video you see me connect the drone to BETAFLIGHT
@@kirbincap8307 I didn’t try. I didn’t think I needed to but it does have a micro usb plug on the whoop, so I’ll give that a try!

Another great vid..thanks. I don't know if I missed it...Does it have optical flow for altitude hold?
The FC version does
Nice kit. I think it was the great work on mistakes has been done
is the recorded video which you have shown us on the screen the same as the one you're seeing while you're wearing the goggles ?
What you see in the goggles with human eyes is better than the recorded image
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thnx so for the analog goggles the resoultion would be around 540p ?

Very informative as always 👌👌
Can't find the Cetus X rtf bundle available in EU yet, only the previous/older models, but looks very interesting and I'll definitely be on the lookout for the Cetus X as it seems to be a good alternative to FPV flying if one doesn't want to invest in the much more expensive DJI FPV
you can order from their website, took about 2 weeks to germany
@@basti7551 Thought about that too but i'd like to have a shop from germany reselling it for warranty reasons.
Some shops are getting it soon here tho:)
@@xGILOW that’s a good idea, my controller broke after the 3months warranty…
is there a warning when you are about to reach the 5 minute flight time or will it just fall out of the air ?
Some show LOW BATTERY on screen which means time for you to land. All show the battery voltage and when you see it reach 3.6 volts, it’s time to land.
Hello, could you make a tutorial to bind this to a radiomaster pocket?
Fly outdoors. You simply need to train that Hand/EYE/Brain coordination of yours.
Glad they use elrs in those kits now
Dang it, just bought the Cetus pro… should’ve waited a few weeks
Happens to me all the time 😂.
Hello, I have no experience with fpv drones (but with (camera) drones) and I want to buy the Cetus Pro or Cetus X. Now my question is if 100€/$ more for the Cetus X is worth it. (I would mainly fly outside).
Yes, the Cetus X has ELRS, DVR, and a full FPV drone
Was going to get the EMAX tinyhawk 3 RTF kit and then you reviewed this. they are comparable in price. Which would you suggest?
Both are great for a beginner so it then comes down to price
Hey so just to be sure when flipping and rolling if you hold the toggle all the way to one direction and roll/ flip do you just release after the flip and the drone will correct it's self and stablise or do I need to do it
If you fly in HORIZON MODE then you just release the sticks. If you fly in the mode that everyone who flys FPV flys in (called ACRO, or AIR or MANUAL MODE), then you have to bring the drone back to the orientation you desire.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 ok thank you very much appreciated
Hi, Thank you for this video.
for a beginner, between the X and the Pro, which is bette r?
Can the X be binding with the Radiomaster Pocket CC2500 instead of the LiteRadio ?
Thankx
are you wearing your glasses inside your goggles? thanks! Awesome Vid!
Nope. Expensive FPV Goggles that are small and slime in size come with eye adjustments for each eye.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 super thanks!
Expensive goggles, as I use in all my reviews, work with all eyesight prescriptions but you’re looking at $500 goggles.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Oof - I was afraid of that. And I hope that price was in Canadian dollars. Lol
Hey! I'm a fan but is there likely any chance that they would make another better version of it? I'm planning to buy one and experience a different perspective of flying drones!😁
Yes, I believe they put out a new version once per year
NOT a fan of BT2.0 ...after soldering them the posts will pull out of plastic housing. Stick with XT30 and be happy!!
Hi Steve....Good review.....😎
Glad you enjoyed it
In my last video from yesterday (Final episode of my very first FPV) at the very end of the video, you can see in a picture what I will do with the parts of the Cetus X soon.
That's Cool! 🥰
That's really cool 💯❤️
Thinking of getting the drone. What version should I get and why? The Cetus FC version or the Betaflight FC version? Thanks!
People who come from the DJI MAVIC type world of drones tend to wrap their minds around the FC version.
