I was in Zimbabwe many years ago and I have great memories of this wonderful place with a great climate and friendly people. I dream of one day traveling on these roads again ... Thanks for the video and the nice music.
I really enjoyed it. I am amazed. I didn't expect that Zembabwe is so beautiful, clean and organized like that. I'm looking forward to visiting your country. It is very very wonderful. Greetings from Palestine. ❤
oh my God ..thank you for reminding us the beauty we left behind...and updating us on how things are on the road currently..i should say i am proud of Zim ..roads look gud too...thanks ..plz more updates..
That is the very road that I used for almost 10 years I was working in Zimbabwe.By the way I travelled to Byo every month.I miss Zimbabwe Byo in particular.
Wow pliz do another video... been in Cape Town for 6 years now I miss home and that road I drove it a lot ... wakapenga mdara... nice music as well ... and your speed is good and driving is on point.... the rain as well ohh my.... its a total package.... Thanks wangu
Thanks so much Marshy for bringing back memories...I last travelled this route around 2011 and I can still see Zim is still a gem. This sleeping giant will rise again trust me.
Nice one man. 1&half hours I was riding on board with you. Just don't be travelling that fast henceforth. Not advisable to be double overtaking at over 100mph. Bold lines and traffic island spots means No Overtaking. Looking forward to more of your vids round the country, with music like you done. Nice one 👍
I last drove this road in 1996. The road looks in good condition. The tollgate is new (another way to extort money). The roadblocks must get annoying. What do they want exactly? Since 96 a lot of trees have been lost. Also the unplanned urban sprawl and settlement is encroaching on all the countryside. Looks untidy. But thanks for posting this vid.
The roads look good. What a relief to see. People are so negative and I was bracing myself for a horror show. Well done then to the Government. I am a bit worried about the traffic that is idle on the road. We need clear shoulder areas where vehicles can stop or rest areas...not in the middle of the road to reduce risk of accidents
Your reply to my comment suggest that you open minded and honest.Checkpoint would have sensed it.In some countries, checkpoints, military buildings, airports and government buildings can be burdensome for the camera person. I remember some time ago, I took my mobile phone out to change the sim card at Harare International Airport and was immediately told by plain clothe security that filming was not allowed.Another instance, a headmaster of Rakodzi High School was travelling to Marondera with a theatrical kit for a stage play which included a paper Mache toy sword. He was stopped at a checkpoint and had to spend most of the day there trying to get confirmation for his actions. My comments are meant to be positive and no malice intended.
@@vascobishop6834 you are very right. If they had seen me filming the trip, they would have taken the phone. I think they didn't see it coz it was impossible to see it.
Marshy Samusodza Am seriously planning to come to do business in Zimbabwe and maybe settle in zim as well. How is the currency (dollar) situation at the moment if you are still in zimbabwe. I my heart is with this beautiful beautiful country and i want to call it home God willing.
soG soG I pray zim's foreign currency situation easies a bit. Its up to africans and diaspora Zimbabweans to step in and make the whites irrelevant to the future prosperity of Zimbabwe. we can create a few jobs for Zimbabweans but the dollar currency shortage is our biggest obstacle. beautiful country, beautiful people. lots of love from Nairobi.
You are too fast on the roads, you worry me. At times you were doing 160 plus when you were overtaking. That is very dangerous partner. From Gweru to Byo I think your windshield wipers malfunctioned or something. It’s a mystery how you were able to see with droplets on your windshield. Overall, it was a good video. Watching from Canada 🇨🇦.

Love that highway thanks for the video Marshy!
You are welcome, i think its best high in Zim. espe from Gweru to Byo
viva Zim , what a beautiful country. home is home
Ellen Ndlovu home is best
Remember for next time, use the windscreen wipers to stop the camera focusing on the wet glass, which makes everything outside the care out of focus.
Well noted. My wiper motor had failed. I was working on max speed only but had it replaced.
Where are the potholes?
something is definitely happening concerning fixing roads l guess 🤷🤷🤷
On smaller roads not highway. The highway is so good now
Make another video bro❤
I will very soon bro.
thanks for the vid
you are welcome
Beautiful
Malusi Menzi thanks so much
Damn this Covid thing, i wanna go home

Just curious as a "foreigner" of african descent, would the Military at the checkpoint harass me and hustle for bribes, as they do in kenya?
abdi abdi there were no reports of such during that time in November 2017
