Ever since OG was available from the Raptors and arrived here, OG expressed his desire to be a bigger part of the team offensively. You saw some of that in the playoffs especially his great performance in the Sixers series and you can make the argument that if OG doesn't get hurt, we play Boston in the ECF. Fast forward the acquisition of Towns and Bridges along with OG's play while Bridges was stinking up the joint. OG is now the 4th option and playing better defense that Bridges could lead to a little resentment. If OG feels the "NOVA" boys going to do them then why not me?
OG needs to humble down and not worry about stats... there are 3 proven scorers in front of him.. he should have established that role in Toronto with less Offensive talent and still didn't... so he needs to relax.. u watch his offensive game.. its versatile buut not explosive... his average is around where I see his game at... if he's averaging 25.. i don't think the team is as good.. because you're prioritizing his offense over guys like KAT JB and MB..
OG doesn't create a lot off the dribble. He seems to passive. Towns was out the other night against the sixers. OG should have been more aggressive offensively.

He is responsible for the growth and development of Randle, Kat, Brunson, Hart, Rj, Quickly, Harkenstein, Divo, McBride, Og , Rose, Butler, Noah etc. we are now the Third seed in the east and 5th in the nba. As far as the previous bulls teams that was his first time coaching and he won coach of the year in his 2nd season with them and loss to the big 3. In fact everyone lost to the big 3. That team also over achieved especially after Rose got injured. A team that included Rose Deng Noah Boozer Bogans Thomas Gibson Brewer Watson Korver and a few no names is not a great roster he just got more out of a bunch of role players with the exception of boozer and rose. He took them from the 8th seed to the 1st seed in 1year. From 33 wins to 62 wins in 2years. Rose injury was due to his high flying play style not due to mins played. Y’all couch coaches need to fall back and let him cook. The players aren’t complaining so why are you?
The Knicks should have made three moves from prior seasons: Acquire Donovan Mitchell, trade Mitchell Robinson, and sign Kenny Atkinson. I like Bridges a lot, but I like Mitchell better. Leon should have kept Jalen Duren and traded Robinson to Detroit. Atkinson is a better coach than Thibs and Atkinson does good work with young talent, while Thibs is adverse to rookies. It's too late, and it is what it is.

Mitch can guard Embiid a bit and the Greek Freak. With Robinson, Hart, Achuiwa, and Kat, that's a lot of rebounding big bodies to contend with for anybody.

I think we gamble on Robinson but strengthen the wing players. We need to get more athletic and longer on the wing to sure up the depth and defense.

Og has the biggest contract in knicks history. I think he needs to lead by doing whatever it means to win. Even if that means leading the bench unit
