@ I showed my daughter and she loved it. Says it looks so easy. Ty. She want to make the pinwheel. But even more than that miracle! She watched your next video when I was in the other room. When I came back and saw it was the tumbling 3D block, I to was excited. I asked if it seemed easy enough to do. She said yes but for you the first time. I got ready to wind it back so I could see how you did it and she said wait, I will tell you how. She got it perfect. After I finish making all 8 of the 4 block baby quilts, I will attempt it to. Now I want to buy you something that has made my sewing so much easier and more exact. When you cut material does your cutting blade ever move just a little away from the ruler? This is perfect. Since I have been using this all my measurements are exact. So have not needed to square up. I have found it under 2 names. Stripology ruler or shape cut. Look it up on Amazon. If you would like it, give me your address and I will mail it to you through Amazon. Ty again
You are just something! Learn so much from you at 74! Just started got all my tools now and can't wait to get started. Thanks for your super program love every teaching!
I was given 120 yds of fabric to make baby quilts to the Air Force base new mommies and for Pregnancy Aid. I love your very easy direction. Cant make up my mind which one I like the best. No problem. I will be trying them all! 😊
Hello, fellow quilters! 👋☺️ She has very crafty ideas to switch up the four patch. I have a safety suggestion. It will be easier to use a spinning cutting mat or just turn your mat to cut your pieces. NEVER, use your cutter in the direction of your holding hand & arm. Should you slip, you can severely cut yourself. Have fun with your quilt projects! ❤ 😊
@seweasybysandy yes, that is a nice way to phrase it. A lazy Susan cutting mat. Her demonstrations were of nice patterns. But on a few occasions, she cut in the direction of her free hand and arm. 😳 😵 😱 not safe to do it that way. Have fun quilting!! It's my favorite hobby. 😍
Super Cute! I love the diagonal cuts that create a pinwheel, and the fun arrows. The star is so fun. Thank you for sharing this with us. I love your videos, your cheerful giggle are so comforting. It feels like old friends hanging out and sharing. Thank you again for explaining and demonstrating so well. Huggles Always 😊🎉💖🍀🙏
Hi. Thank you 🥰 it feels like that for me too, that we're all together just sewing and laughing, always leaves me in a great mood. Sewing went from being a solitary activity for me to something social heheheh
The fifth variation - do you know the name or maker of the orange/yellow fabric?? This is actually a ginko leaf and I've been searching everywhere for it!
Hi! I'm sorry, it's a really old fabric and I no longer have the selvage so I can't really say. I know it's not a big designer fabric or anything like that, I bought it at a local fabric shop. I checked their website and they no longer have it.
Let's turn some nice, simple 4 patch quilt blocks into awesome disappearing 4 patch quilt blocks!
I had a blast, I hope you do too.
Enjoy!
Love your personality and creativity!😊
