Just be aware that I get hundreds of emails every week and I can't promise that I'll show what you send in.
The Vittorio Veneto also did admirably. He held on as long as he could in Cap C, and only fell at a very high price for the enemy team.
Yeah, they would definitely have done worse without the Veneto. And he killed most of the Ships around him as well.
I was saying the same thing.
Yeah, when Jingles said "Lions share of the work", I thought wtf.... that should be the Veneto...good ol' Jingles, can't tell a black horse fae a white 'un, lol.
The Vittorio did so much work not only in stopping points being gained in C and not only in sinking 3 out of 4 of the pursuers, but they also drew so much attention away from the North C and Leningrad allowing them to pick off there targets 1 by 1. The Leningrad did well too and the win wouldn't of been possible without our heros maths but the Vittorio definitely MVP.
the Leningrad carried hard. because he entered the B cap when going for the C cap, he stopped just enough points right there to end the game in a win.
Is that Gamer's Nexus mouse pad? Very much approve.
Jingles is a man of culture confirmed for the billionth time.
Im shocked he does not have a anime mouse pad with a boob arm rest built into it
@@tomyorke3412 well of course he HAS one, but he's not breaking that out for some random video!
i have one too. its really good
Was just about to comment on it 👍 VERY much approve on the mouse mat
North Carolina: a beautiful ship in game and IRL.
Been there once. Great tour
Leningrad is one of those few Soviet ships that is actually good without being OP. And that player played it extremely well.
I ran across a Leningrad in the middle cap circle on Fault Line in my T5 Fūjin and even though he had a clear hp advantage I killed him using just the guns. In a T5 IJN torp boat. His explanation was that the Leningrad had been so power crept... :D
To the question, "Why would you not want to go into battle with your best crew in your tank"
Very Simple, because i don't want to throw ALOT of money at wargaming for a Free-to-play Game
besides, I don't even see a point in cashig out to be more competetitive, at least in WOWS, since beeing more competetive means nothing these days. Since the meta shifts more and more towards making it easy to fail your way to Tier 10 without making any effort to guide players into beeing good, any game is just decided by the amount of potatoes on each team. And I know it is easy to blame the team for a loss, but honestly I had not a single victory this year that felt like I earned it. It was always just a total stomp because half of the enemy team threw their ships away in the most stupid way imaginable, and my team was mindful enough to not throw the victory that was served to them on a silver platter. And if that is the only thing that matters now, I don't see a point in playing at all. Might as well just roll a dice and bet on odd or straight numbers, because that's what you do every time you queue up for a battle.
@@TheExecutorr couldn't agree more. in a 12v12 match chances are most games you arent the deciding factor at all. Obv you could be, but those games arent too common
@@killfill9 QB disagrees with that a bit.
He thinks you have the power in your hands every single battle.
@@TheExecutorr yeah, I hardly ever do actual matches. Much rather goof around in training rooms with people. It's the only way to enjoy the game
Unless you're some freak who finds enjoyment in the 1vs29 match making
@@bertjesklotepino I would disagree with that for mainly a couple reasons, people be potatoes and the fact that the tier matchmaking is stupid as heck, if you're a down tier it's highly unlikely you're the deciding factor on a game. if you're gunna win, it most likely wasnt you. Lets be honest, if the enemy isn't a potatoe they should never die to you which again means you aint the factor, them misplaying is.
Actually, Jingles... in WoT you can qualify your crew to three different tanks of the same class in the future, not to every tank of the nation. And with gold you get to keep 100% of the XP cumulated by the crew, but for free-to-play players there are options with credits but you lose some persentage of the XP.
and this system works just god damn fine. There is absolutely zero reason to mess with it
Jingles, you've forgotten about the results screen again!
Bird hunter prolly had that mod,
so knew he had enough time
Uhh, Jingles, your Palpaltine is showing!
Anyone wondering, its 7:54

Because Dead Eye is a percentage reduction and not increase its effect is actually less impactful on already accurate ships like the NC than it is on shotguns like Republique.
This NC is using a range upgrade btw...
Hey, unlike other French ships, Repu isn't a shotgun. It's actually quite average among T10 BB's.
The République has only 8 guns and a 2.0 sigma: far from a shotgun, she's a sniper.
Repub has only eight guns but very good velocity and penetration. Sometimes the dispersion trolls you but most of the hits does damage.
As for why NC is using range upgrade
USN BBs has a unique upgrade setup where it does not have the aiming mod 1 in slot 3 like every other ship, but instead having a choice of allitary plotting mod 1 which increases the range of main guns, aa guns mod 1, sec batt mod 1 and main battery mod 2 which boosts turret traverse, which means you can really take anything for slot 3 for USN BBs
In return for the missing aiming mod one(-7% dispersion) it gets the artillery plotting mod 2 which gives a -12% dispersion, but in return you need to choose between that and main battery mod 1 which reduces reload time
@@howardxu8050 I don't know why he chose that upgrade, mostly i choose AA mod on the third slot for American BBs except on Montana where i need to outrange Thunderer.
The beginning of this video is the best thing that's happened to me in a while
Ah yes, right when I was just about to sleep, Jingles posts a warship vid that sounds interesting.
Right?
I'm about to have lunch in an hour over here.
Just woke up to go to work here
This game shows that it doesn't take much teamwork to turn a game into a win. The Leningrad and Birdhunter just focused targets, kept things spotted for each other, coordinated their movements and took advantage of the Veneto's superb delaying action on the other flank. At high tier, *EVERY* player should be more than capable of doing all of that, it just takes a couple of Quick Commands or typing in chat to let each other know what you need and where you're going.

That kill against the enemy duke of york was so unexpected to me considering the direction of the enemy ship in question
That i didn't think there would be a hit to citadel and a kill in the process
Oh was i wrong XD
In real life, King George V class are modern mid-war battleships with impressive armour.
In game, the British BB 'thing' is stealth, healing and HE. KGV (or DoY) aren't that tanky.
That's overmatch by 16 inch guns for you - as @Keiron Haigh pointed out british BBs have rather questionable armour that will readily be overmatched by many other battleships. I once got Citadelled and sunk in a Nelson by a salvo that hit squarely in the ass by a Fuso of all things
Almost 5 in the morning and I'm running on 8 cups of coffee? Perfect timing!
Hooray for cat sabotage. Thanks for this Jingles.
P.s. If I may offer my 50p worth, while you sharing your thoughts on the WoW developments/mechanics is informative, in more recent episodes (perhaps inevitably given the recent changes) you seem to spend more time on that, than on narration. I may be being unfair it may just be a false perception.
The informative stuff was told to us while the ships were making their initial/setup moves with a few tentative shots. Once they started killing each other he mostly confined himself to the narration. The information phase is important to many folks so they will not be playing in a vacuum. I play an online game on my phone that is a free-to-play/pay-to-win type. I play free but things change I know nothing about till I learn the hard way.
the howdy folks sounds american and british at the same time
N. Carolina, Leningrad and V. Veneto all did really well. Props to the lads on a good game, well fought!
Shoozy (or how do you write that?) reminds me of my own Dutch ginger feline. She must have thought her ginger fur was maroon, for she took on every other cat, dog or human that was much taller than her in a ferocious style typical of British paras. I used to call her my Air Assault Cat, for her attacks always started with a one and a half meter jump that scared the hell out of the other animals (and humans). Redheads, you gotta love 'em.
AIRBORNE!!!!!!
Those last 4 seconds got my pulse going. Nice to see most close games and teams coming back from behind. Kudos to the DD players, who often make all the difference in the background but seldom get the credit (and karma).
I'd watch a 21 minute video of the cat sleeping on the keyboard, just saying.
As long as there's a high quality recording of the purring to go with it, me too.
We used to have a ditzy old kitty called Tilly who would sleep on my head - I'd lie down, on my pillow, and she would curl up on the side of my head, chest pressed right against my ear and purr straight into my skull for the whole night.
It was honestly the most restful, soothing and restorative sleep I've ever had. After poor old Till had to go for her last ride to the vet's, I literally could not sleep properly for several weeks.
@@stickiedmin6508 Good ol ASMR cat purr noises.
Jingles, a truly close match. With expert comments and the right amount of Jingles magic.
Vitto fought till the last shell holding that cap. Wish more people were willing to defend caps that hard in this deadeye meta
I love the teamwork happening in this video!
And then there's Legends.... 1 captain per nation from the start. :)
With no need to retrain captains on each ship. Legends' commander system is awesome.
They should copy consoles new crew rework, you can swap the crews of non premium tanks for 9k silver without them having to retrain or start at 75% and if you wanted you can change the crew to a different nationality for 60 gold
Or just have generic crew training like in Blitz. It might be boring, but it’s as far from p2w as you can get lik
Dutch ginger cat, she's a bit simple. LMAO!
She's pretty though. Cheers, Jingles.
Actually Jingles, deadeye does benefit battleships with bad dispersion more. You see deadeye reduces the max dispersion of a ship by 10%, not the actual accuracy it self... What... the only 10% you want to see is 10% more salt production? Y-y-yes Sir right away S-sir!
Ah, the North Carolina. when I was a teen I lived on the east coast of the US, I got to go in the North Carolina for a tour and it's one if my favorite memories actually
I'm happy to see a teammate like that Leningrad and the Italian ,gg to both of them
Geez. I'm regretting more and more for ever spending money on Wargaming.
The Dead Eye skill makes BB replays surprisingly unexciting.
Great Video Jingles! Thank you very much Sir!
Bad day... see jingles video... better day.... see kitty....good day..... hear kitty purring in jingles video.... day ends with smiles
World of Warships system increases the value of premiums (at least ones that work with similar commander skills) you're never going to retrain them for every silver ship. The world of tanks thing is probably better in that it makes money but I'm not sure if it's good for the game in that all long term players will end up with 19 point captains on everything - which you'll then need to do to stay competitive and it'll make the game really hard for newbies (even more than it is now). One thing no cc seems to have bothered to mention is the massive difference between going from 17-18-19 points and then 19-20-21 points, it was a big jump to need the 300,000 for your 19th point but now it's 500,000 and up which is crazy.... Nice work :-)!
Also Kind of not true that at percentage buff to accuracy improves accurate ships more than inaccurate ships - because it's measured as dispersion, dispersion being smaller when its better so a percentage change in a small number is less than a big number.... having an absolute change would make the accurate ships much more accurate than the percentage buff. WoT monetising more effectively than WoWs is actually the natural order of things too...
GG to all them 3, entirely deserved 👌
World of Warships with the Mighty Jingles plus extra cat.
My hometown ship! And the first ship I pushed the grind for.
George. Love it and keep it and call it George. Warner Brothers.
I was looking at the time and reckoning that Jingles was on "leather personnel carrier" internet again. Either that or he forgot to feed the carrier pigeons!
Ah yes the spirit animal of the NA server, WellDoneX3. Love that guy
I was half expecting jingle to come out with a palpatine cackle after the DO IT!
Poll for jingles cat to get their own ship
cats see you interacting with your keyboard, they want to participate so all you have to do is have a dummy keyboard, like egg cartons will do and place them near the keyboard and the cat will rest on the dummy keyboard instead of the actual keyboard
Always happy to see my hometown ship in a replay.
Edit: Technically, it is my home state ship too, but it rests in my hometown, so I'm calling it that for now.
Wilmington, NC.
I toured the ship a few years ago while visiting family.
Being retired Navy, I was able to relate some knowledge of the engineering workings to my son.
Humorously, a group of international tourists were right behind us, listening in, and at one point asked if I was one of the docents! Noooo ... I just remember enough about steam cycles and hydraulic systems to sound good! :)
Actually Jingles, the Crew can have up to 3 Vehicles they´re trained with, plus all the Premium Tanks from the same nation, where you can also use them however you like.
The Training for a second and third tank, so far on the PTS, are actually FREE. If you chose your tanks and want to change one of them to another vehicle, THEN you have to pay, but it´s still cheaper than just simply moving crews around right now.
So as long as you plan ahead with your crews you can use them on 3 Techtree vehicles of your free choice and all the Premiums of the same nation.
The crews will also adjust to the tank, no more hiring additional Loaders or some shit, all your crew is represented by one commander and will take on the roles in the tank as needed.
Since the tick interval is six seconds, they get 1.5 points per second (on average) or 90 points in a minute. 27 seconds and a 36 point difference. They get 40 points in 27 second, so it is down to exactly the last tick.
I hope that beef strokin' off ends up on old man jingles!
13:43 The famous Citadella Frontale... old WOTN trademark
I knew Jingles was going to do this replay as soon as I saw it was the Dave clan.
Was this a secret episode of mingles with Jingles? For a second there it felt like it
Always great to see the NC doing some damage.
8:01*
My torpedoes would like to know your location.
"narrowest of margins" let's not forget the battle you showed us that ended 999-1000 points and one ship per team
That Lenningrad did really well.
WoWs console: all captain xp is shared and you can use a captain in any number of ships. Where they get you is the tokens you need to promote the captains at high ranks
Jingles, I keep a bird song app on my phone just for such cat related gaming issues. Just turn on and toss to the nearest soft spot.
It gets her of her own free will to get up off the computer or my arm to investigate. No bad cat karma for moving her along, since it was all her idea. :-)
16" American Super-Heavy shell plunging fire. It's dangerous!
No one else called it out, but I’m pretty sure Jingles had an Jingles moment at 12:40
That Vittorio, Side Switching Italian he may be, is in fact a Friendly.
The thing i miss the most since i moved out is the cat. Damn i miss that damn furrball.
ah yes watching jingles at 2 in the morning
One point to make on the commanders, if you only have one Premium Ship for a nationality the ability to have skills for each type of ship works. You can have a Battleship captain skill up in a DD or a CA without having to spend money to retrain.
great video and 3 great individuals
the borderline evil part of the retraining-system is this:
A lot of people either didnt have enough elite comander xp to upgrade at least one captain straight to 21 ( 1.200.000 elite points needed aka the same amount you needed to get a cpt from 1 to 19 ) or they did not think about the possible consequences and spend what they had before the rework hit.
So what are the consequences, if you do NOT have any 21 captain? well, you generate signiificantly less elite comander xp.
And why is that a problem? Well, because WG took away the 200.000 credit option for retraining, which leaves you with either elite comander xp, dublones or playing with an untrained captain.
"allright, ill just go for untrained then. whats the big deal?"
Well, before the rework your cpt skills were reduced to being 50% effective when using an untrained captain - after the rework however, your skills have NO effect anymore - ZERO, none, nada, nula, odna, nolla .
so now you are stuck with an untrained captain (or multiple if you mised the "free redistributing" period) and siginificantly less elite comander xp generated, which means, that , for example, reseting lines for research points can be "a bit of a problem" due to the fact, that you generate ship xp MUCH faster then elite comander xp and will not be able to play the next ship with a trained captain. Or you just switched a tier 9 cpt, that you used in ranked to a TX ship for qualification and now you dont have the elite xp to switch back to Tier9 for clan wars.
Another thing is, that the automated reskilling is completely bonkers-in case you missed the whole redistributing period - which kind of forces players to reskill and spend dubs aka money.
over all i consider this to be just a half way decently hidden money grab by WG, which would make sense considering, that the "players online" numbers keep dropping HARD since a wee bit more then a year (cant have anything to do with something like the cv-rework, eh? naaah! thats crazy talk of a cv-hater^^)
Since the captain rework i have only gotten on to play a game or 2 on occasion to stay active in my clan.
A great way to start your day...
best play by play im the business
I recognize that thumbnail... My home state's battleship, and sister to the North Carolina, annihilating the Kirishima at the Second Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.
Tank crews right now in the public server of WoT do NOT RETAIN qualifications Jingles, they never have.
Beef Stroganoff! I'm having dinner at the Jingles house tonight!
Oh I love the cat. That's awesome.
Put a shallow box on your desk within arms reach and you can control where your cat lays
The percentage based thing:
If a ship’s accuracy is say... 90 dispersion. 10% turns it to 81, a significant improvement. Meanwhile the ship with only 20 dispersion would become 18, a far less tantalizing of an offer.
I have a towel on the top right side of my desk, so the cat can crash there while I play---so I feel your pain!
The North Carolina, holds my best and worst Warships moments.
The worst was a single shell from some BB that hit below number 2 turret and blew my 92% health ship to hell. A definite WTF moment.
My best moment occurred when my NC found itself amongst a group of small islands, with 2 enemy damaged DD's and a enemy damaged CA very near. The turrets fired separately and killed one DD from #1 turret as it came around island followed seconds later by the cruiser which got blown up (real good) as well. The other DD came around the other side of the island to get itself right in the sights of # 3 turrets which just happened to be pointing it's way, in it's haste to align with the front 2 turrets, another kill. All 3 happened within 10 sec.
Alas, this all happened before replays were automatic as they are today but did provide me with the determination to set up replays for future battles.
They took that crew option from War Thunder, in a way. For me it might incentivise me to play WoT again.
Ah it's a North Carolina
*Sees Deadeye North Carolina*
What the fuck?
Range extension, maybe?
Well, the best crew system is in the WOT Blitz, you train your crew for the given tank (or pay if you impatient), and after that, every crew gives xp for the class of tanks general and overall skills that is applied to every tanks in the class, so no crew moving is needed.
Jingles, "A bit simple" means your cat is rather like her Master. Now Rita's cats are all beautiful, like Her. Akatsuki is stubborn. That is the Mainer, in her, like many of my kin.
Howdy Jingles
Of course your Dutch ginger cat is simple... she is GINGER! :P
that WoT commander system sounds like war thunder's crew system: you pay a price (silver) upfront after purchasing the vic to train them and never have to do it again unless upgrading their capabilities on that vic
this wouldn't have even been close if he hadn't fumbled capturing B at around the 17:20 mark and have to start over again. Which of course, Jingles didn't even notice.
"That duke of york is proving to be a royal pain in the ass"
When the enemy is caught between a rock and a hard place xD well done you played smart dude
Huge hats off to Veneto and lenin
Free to play, pay to win.
We on world of warships legends are laughing rn (having your best captain on every ship~)
Pretty funny... I've run into that Vittorio Veneto player twice while playing.
The good old North Carolina, I remember piling up 250 K XP before noticing that I could get the Iowa. I had too much fun with her.
I still take her out regularly even though I have the Alabama and Massachusetts.
04:35 In the current WoT Sandbox test server, you can only train the crew to the SAME vehicle type, up to 3 tanks.
claps excitedly yeah we got a visit from the "big ginger chonker"
NC is a great battleship. Before I quit a few years ago I had a 64% WR in it. And, yes, I was Tier X in US, Japan and Germany.
"You play the one ship over and over again" - Yeah, Im fine just playing Thunderer as my sole GB ship (With Jingles captain)
7:54 Emporer Jingles Palpatine lmao
Not sure too many will get your call it Bob line!
