Janne, I still have your Guitar Pro 5 files from competitions that I was part of as well back in 2003. Do you, by any chance, have "Sacred Are the Unicorns", "Bloodred Hatred" recorded anywhere? I have been listening to them for 19 years without a chance to hear the real version. It is great to see you again, by the way!
I think I remember you from MSB days! The good days! How have you been? Regarding the Bloodred Hatred - that song we recorded with Portrait of Pain three times, if I can trust my memory. One the versions ended up on one skateboarding video, but I can't find the film anywhere (those skateboarders were our drummer's friends who asked for the song). The rest of the versions were for labels who didn't have interest towards us, which we didn't quite understand why. These days I understand very well, there was so much similar bands here in Finland, Sweden.. the whole world. Hehe. Unfortunately I don't have those demos anywhere, BUT last autumn my band where I was playing drums hired Tapani (the Portrait of Pain drummer) on drums and I moved back to guitar so we have already half of PoP lineup so I have been thinking that we could maybe do a new version of it. After all it is actually 20 year old song already and it is quite funny and flattering that people know me better from a guitar tab than the bands I have been in. Few years back, even still last year I was thinking "Let the buried stay buried" what comes those PoP songs, but now I have been thinking seriously to dig them back up from grave. The Unicorn song I only demoed alone, no audio files remained to this day. :/ Anyway! Really great to hear from you! Thanks for checking my stuff out!
@@j-venom616 , nowadays the labels most likely strive to find anything nearly as talented as you; so, one could state that jokes are upon them. That episode of burying music reminded me of Bill Steer from Carcass whose burning out had been explained partly on the grounds of the mere "who listens to this music these days?" but then Carcass, along with Bill, came to Russia in 2017 and turned the whole venue upside-down with their awe-inspiring musicianship to prove Bill wrong in several positive ways. I ought to admit that I do, too, share the same ruminations about music inasmuch as the contemporary youth have no attention span and any interest in anything other than their thumb-driven devices to which they stoop like Kylliki from your folklore and their drugs that they take everywhere (at least it is so in Russia, where I still reside to this day). Rerecording the material from MySongBook competitions would be a dream come true, but you need to earn something from work too: maybe the very same labels will take interest after so many years. Also, reuploading anything from your past is always a good idea: metalheads (at least what remains of them) scoop up anything historical, even seemingly insignificant to others, across the Internet to satisfy their delicate and elaborate interest in music. Thanks for asking. I am working on the tabs, I have drums, bass and all the rhythm guitar parts transcribed and written down Guitar Pro 7, but the tab is still lacking Criss' solos.

I like the 80's stuff even higher, but Streets on phenomenal record I think! Criss had very cool riffs and leads!
