hey Rachel audio is kinda funky around 15:00 and there's an audio overlap around 15:25 and 15:40 Just thought I would let u know. Love the video and you plants though!
I'm always inspired by you Rachel. I did have an indoor 5 tier shelf that didn't work because the succulents were too small in their tiny pots and they dried out too quickly. They are currently in my outdoor plant nursery in recovery. So now I'm at the point where I have a few indoor plants, medium size, just give a drenching outside once a week and they are much happier than the smaller plants inside. Love, love, love everything you do. Never stop being you girlfriend!
Your 'at home just doing my thing' videos are always my favourite. So wonderfully calm and relaxing. I give this one a solid four out of five carrots. .....you know why.
My favorite and oldest plants is pothos. I have had her for 19 years. I also love Hoya, calathea and Heartleaf philodendron oh and rubber plant😍🥰 I have many favorites... and peace learning that I recovered and now she’s 10 years old
I just got a Peace Lily and was so happy because it was in the "As-Is" section in Ikea for only $1 and omg it's the most moody plant I've ever had. A complete drama queen haha
Regarding your schefflera/dwarf umbrella plant, don’t worry. Mine was exactly the same like yours 4 months back until I started to cut the remaining stems (almost leaf-less?) to propagate the rest and placed it in a bright area. After few weeks and patience, It grew back and it looks very happy now with its lush leaves.
Fave plants gushing: Two years ago I got a few fallen pearls from a string of pearls at a festival and planted them at home... now she's got 14 strands about 16 inches long and I am SO PROUD of her!!! Also love my elephant bush and string of bananas for surviving Big Box Store mistreatment and thriving nonetheless 🥺
I do love your passion for plants! And the jungle feeling of your house 🌿 I also have the same problems. I can't let them die and always repot new grows. Consequence I end up with way too many plants. Certainly way to many aloe vera's (40 right now). And hugh one's! It all started with 3 tiny aloe vera's lol. Now I just bought Pothos, ferns and Ivy for my bathroom and toilet. I stopped growing all my fruit waste (advocado, pinapples, ...) It became too much. 🤪
never clicked that fast but now I have to stop it to make myself a cup of tea.. this video needs a good cup of tea. Thanks Rachel! can´t wait to watch it!
One of my favorite plants is peperomia hope...it's just so cute with its round chunky leaves and is an easy trailing grower. I feel the same as you...that my plants are never "done"....they have taught me to embrace imperfection, as some have brown tips from waiting too long between waterings, some are slightly burned from the sun. But just like us, their imperfections show a life well lived. 🙂 They really bring so much life to my living space, especially during these times.
My favorite plant is actually a Calathea Warscewiczii! I know a lot of people dislike Calatheas because they are fussy, but once you get things sorted, it is so rewarding.
Yay!!! I’ve been dealing with. Wing a dark place and every night I just hope I wake up okay the next day. Today I got to wake up to this video and I’m so excited!!! Thank you ❤️
Love to see plants, I stared again to ha e more inside the house but my 2 yr old break the leaves but now he is understanding that we treat them nicely. By the way your wavy hair look very nice.
Love it! I’m 18 and have 7 plants. They all just sit nicely in my bedroom and can feel it becoming an addiction!! Followed you after this one video because I am ✨inspired✨
I love all these plants and the jungle home you have created! 🖤 when you buy a plant from a nursery or anywhere the plant has been outside. How do you deal with any insects within the soil in the house?
Love it! My favourite is the Calathea Lancifolia Insigne. One of the first plants I bought and then I found out they are hard to care for. But it is still alive after 5 years or so and I have also succesfully propagated it now. Proud plant mom haha. Propagating Pothos is sooo nice. I just plant them back next to the mom, so it gets a bit fuller. But I think next time it is time for a new pot and more green in the house 😄
I’m a new plant connoisseur. My favorite plant I have right now is my rattlesnake calathea or my baby ficus! I have been loving watching other people share their collections- thanks for sharing :)
How fun. I'm currently starting to get a few plants for our house, some Benjamin ficus and palms. But we don't get as much natural light in our living room so they are on our covered outdoor area for now. It can be pretty dark in spaces of our house. I have however been trying my hand at re-growing kitchen scraps thanks to the book you recommended "No waste Kitchen gardening" lots of info there.
Love this Rachel!!! Wohoo!!! Thank you for sharing. My favorite plants are my rescued plants. I love rehabilitating plants! I have a “rescue window” for them. My favourite is my first rescued plant is Helen my Caladium.
Rachel, very rewarding!!! It is like opening a Christmas gift every time! I usually scout and buy them so I could take care of them. Usually, underrated philodendrons and pothos and Arrowheads.
Girl...you are living in a forest! Very beautiful! I just ordered 3 plants to get started with having a beautiful collection for my very small city apartment...I grew up with plants in my house and it is a beautiful thing...
My favourite plant is my Peperomia Napoli Nights! It’s so shiny and sparkly and it shoots out new growth constantly. Very low maintenance in the right soil. Peps don’t get enough hype!
It’s so hard to choose a favorite plant cause I love em all but maybe my Syngonium Chiapense or maybe my Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma or my Syngonium Red Arrow. I don’t know. How do you choose?! So many plants to choose from. Nature is just so beautiful and so wonderful for my mental health. 🥰
If your peace lilies are coming in green for their flowers, it means it’s getting too much light. And may also be by your other lily is lighter color. Usually means it’s stressed.
I thought Heart of Philodendron or Pathos would be my favorite but actually, the Wandering Jew / Zebrina is my number one. (I finally have all three so that's how I found out what my true favorite is)
Nice collection. Lovely pots. Which is giving more elegant look. I like your house environment it's so peaceful n greenery vibes. Which is lost in today's world. I'm highly impressed with your way of keeping the plants either small or big one Such organized way. .. Lots of love from India. Stay blessed. Sis♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😘😘😘
I really really envy you for being able to have such a variety of plants. Not only is does our apartment not provide enough light for proper plant growth, but one of our cats loves to eat almost everything. She even chews on cacti! I had to get rid of my spider plants, because she was constantly trying to get to them, tossing over everything in her way, chewing them to bits, just to be vomiting for the rest of the day. No. Fun. At. All. A lot of plants I'd love to have are poisonous for cats, so I just stick to my Pepperomia, its propagations and my beloved String of Hearts.
Around 15mins, I believe that’s a Emerald Queen Boston fern also known as a Sword fern :) It looks the same as the one I have in my bedroom hanging up!!
My favourite plant that I own right now is my purple shamrock! I keep thinking it’s dying though so it stresses me out ☘️ Also, you are the most gorgeous person I think I have ever seen 🥰
I absolutely LOVVVVVE your videos, such a beautiful collection, your set up finished or not is AMAZING!!!! Thank you Rachel I’ve learned so much from your channel ❤️🌿🎋🍃
I just bought my first piece of furniture for plant purposes, a 4 tier shelf. Now I want to go fill it with more plants but I feel I need to wait and make sure I can keep the ones I have alive first, But I won't. Peace!
I absolutely love this video Rachel! You take so much pride and joy in your plants. I cant wait to have a place of my own so I can turn it into a jungle like yours :)
Hey Rachel, I think more self care videos be ideal as covid is still around and it be nice to take care of ourselves more. A new self care video be good to see soon. 🙂
The only way I can grow a small basil plant is in a pot sitting in a dish which I keep full of water so that it never dries. I keep it this way until the plant gets really thick stems (several months) and then it seems to be able to store enough water to keep from drying out so quickly.
They all look so great. I have some adansonii plants. They are doing good, but they are growing down, like hanging. I had ordered a cutting from Etsy & when I got it, there were 5 cuttings. 2 are doing really good & 2 are okay. I love them though.
15:41 looks like a Boston fern. Your plants are lovely. You adansonii mega leaves are gorgeous! Mine had to go in the bin- I’m convinced it had mosaic virus from the grower I bought it from. I love your videos.
🥰 Btw I love your channel. It’s so inspiring!!!!
It is a wonderful and detailed video, the content you want to express is well conveyed and it makes the viewer feel good, always be a happy day. from Korean friend~~
Late to the party, but the N'joy pothos on the tension rod looks to be more like a Glacier pothos! They are very hard to find in the states. N'joy are white and (typically dark) green, while Glacier pothos are white and 2 or more shades of green.
The rear pine you have!! I thought I recognised it as soon as you showed it. In NZ christchurch botanical gardens they have set up a few and they are all fenced off! Such a fascinating history ❤️
I love your plants, they are gorgeous. I am a new plant mom myself. I would love to know what type of oil you use to clean the leaves. Also, what do you use for spider mites and gnats.??
hey Rachel audio is kinda funky around 15:00 and there's an audio overlap around 15:25 and 15:40 Just thought I would let u know. Love the video and you plants though!
Oh that’s so weird!!!
It’s like it’s overlapped other sections of the video. I just checked it in my editing software and it’s not doing that, so annoying 😭😭
Rachel Aust no worries still an amazing video❤️
I thought is was my phone...
I had it happen also, scrolled down and saw Rachel pinned your comment 10/10 :P
Who else thinks her lightning is amazing!!!! those plants must be very happy
*“The number of plants you owned dictates furnitures in your house”*
If this isn't ridiculously true
Absolutely love the “waterfall” wall in the bedroom - think you’ve just inspired me to do the same! xx ❤️
So worth it!!! 🖤
I'm always inspired by you Rachel. I did have an indoor 5 tier shelf that didn't work because the succulents were too small in their tiny pots and they dried out too quickly. the mini monstera is my favourite

I pretty much neglect mine and they're all so happy, maybe you're over watering it
Me too mine just decides to act like it dying so i freak out cause im doing everything right then the next day it’s perfectly fine
Regarding your schefflera/dwarf umbrella plant, don’t worry. Wow, your collection is stunning. The ones you’ve had for a while are so impressive!
I do love your passion for plants! And the jungle feeling of your house 🌿

I remember discovering your channel last year. It's the reason why I'm so in love with plants now. I LOVE U AND UR PLANTS, Rachel🖤🌿✨
Hello there! Really helpful videos and advice, as I am quite new at this! Very inspiring!
I love the story about the pine! I hope you and your country are successful in the re-propagation of it. 👍😀
Having these many plants is my life goal. I love it
Your place has great light for your babies💖
How do you remember all of their names?! 😅
You have an impressive collection, Rachel! 👏🏾
Haha, I'm a little obsessed.
My favorite plant is actually a Calathea Warscewiczii! I know a lot of people dislike Calatheas because they are fussy, but once you get things sorted, it is so rewarding.
Love how gorgeous your plants are and they are thriving and growing so fast
Yay!!! I’ve been dealing with. Wing a dark place and every night I just hope I wake up okay the next day. Today I got to wake up to this video and I’m so excited!!! Thank you ❤️
The view at 7:10 of the room and looking out the window was stunning
Love to see plants, I stared again to ha e more inside the house but my 2 yr old break the leaves but now he is understanding that we treat them nicely.
By the way your wavy hair look very nice.

I love all these plants and the jungle home you have created! 🖤 when you buy a plant from a nursery or anywhere the plant has been outside. How do you deal with any insects within the soil in the house?
Someone recently gave me a 55 yr old Snake cutting and I’m in aww of it. But I will always love my Tradescantia zebrina and Boston Ferns 💚
Wow that is awesome you grow so many plants in pots, you literally wake up to a "home jungle" right from the bed 🍀
You need to add a string of hearts to your collection. It would look great in your place. 😊
I find them to be so overrated! But that’s a super unpopular opinion 😆
@@itsamodernmess they are but I might be biased because string of anything doesn’t last too long in my house 😂
My mini monstera it two leaves and a stem. I bought it in the hopes to make one as beautiful as yours and this gave me hope and happiness.
I’m a new plant connoisseur. My favorite plant I have right now is my rattlesnake calathea or my baby ficus! I have been loving watching other people share their collections- thanks for sharing :)
IM SO HAPPY I FINALLY FOUND A PLANT UA-camR WHOS AUSTRALIAN!!
HIIIII 👋🏻🌱
SO envious of the amount of plants you have 😍 I have 20 and I DONT plan on stopping 😁💜

Yes!! It's so rewarding to see them thrive and be happy when they get the love and care they need 🌱💚

Money tree is my favorite but I'm a beginner! your plants look so cool!

My alocasia (I hope I spelled that right!) is my favorite plant even though she’s struggling rn 😅
I can’t wait till my Tetrasperma looks like yours , I love the look of that specific plant just growing up a wall wow that’s 2 years of growth! tfs 💚
What a beautiful collection 😍
Sunday afternoon watching plant videos..a relaxing day for me! Thanx for sharing.
Haha such a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon 🌿 Thankyou for watching!!
nice & very healthy plant collection Rachel
If your peace lilies are coming in green for their flowers, it means it’s getting too much light. And may also be by your other lily is lighter color. Usually means it’s stressed.

Pine trees grow wild everywhere here, love the smell of pine

when the piano hit as we panned the first plant i almost teared up a little
I haven't watch you in a while, but girl you look so happy and healthy. I am so proud of you ♡♡
From what I have right now, and I don’t have much, I think my favorite is the money tree.
Around 15mins, I believe that’s a Emerald Queen Boston fern also known as a Sword fern :) It looks the same as the one I have in my bedroom hanging up!!
My favorite plant is my silver bay aglaonema. I know its basic but she has a vibe. My rave zz chocoate burkin and exotica are pretty chill too
it's 11 am and i'm sitting here eating mac and cheese for breakfast and watching this video... best morning ever
My favourite plant that I own right now is my purple shamrock! I keep thinking it’s dying though so it stresses me out ☘️ Also, you are the most gorgeous person I think I have ever seen 🥰

Oh if you like the dinosaur esq plants anthurium superbum is right up your ally! Big dark green glossy leaves, similar care type to philodendrons! 🦕
Hey Rachel, I think more self care videos be ideal as covid is still around and it be nice to take care of ourselves more. A new self care video be good to see soon. 🙂
Your apartment is so cute! I love how you have arranged all your plants. I love photos, have a few! Monstera is beautiful

my fave youtuber talking about my fave subject

I love monstera Adansonii...so forgiving and when staked, the leaves get huge!
Monstera and Chinese Evergreen are a couple of favorites amongst many!
Beautiful Collection. Plants lover from Malaysia 🇲🇾
High-fiving your plant made my morning 🤚🌴
So happy I've come across your channel! Love your vibe
Such a fun & happy video 🤩🌿 thank you for sharing!! I feel re invigorated to continue my plant journey 🌞🌵
Hi that is an awersome collection! Mostly common plants and great job thanks!!!💚👍
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - love, love, love!!
I have 10 indoor plants in my house. Very inspiring vedio. Thanks.
You should make a video of your hair routine and how you made your hair this much beautiful. Really like your new hair style😍
Love your indoor garden so beautiful as always!
The rear pine you have!! I thought I recognised it as soon as you showed it. In NZ christchurch botanical gardens they have set up a few and they are all fenced off! Such a fascinating history ❤️
i just ordered one of the stingrays a few days ago and i’m so excited 🥺
So that "pothos n'joy" isn't an n'joy it is a pearls and jade pothos but they look so similar only the varigation pattern is a little different
im obsessed with all of your plants. my favorite is the Adansonii!
I love your plants, they are gorgeous. I am a new plant mom myself. I would love to know what type of oil you use to clean the leaves. Also, what do you use for spider mites and gnats.??
Gorgeous plant tour Rachel!!! Where did you get the tension rod/plant stand from? Can you please post a link??
I would say my favourite plant will always be Ctenanthe, looks like a dragon and I love how it looks.
Oooooh I love the umbrella tree!
you inspired me to let my raphidaphora tetrasperma climb up my wall :) It's so beautiful!
my favorite is the english ivy, it just loves me the most so i love it the same, I have 3 different pots with them :)
Don't you think that umbrella trees are a bit underrated? Or at least in where I live. So sad because it's actually so beautiful.
You are living my plant dream! I only have 6 plants currently 😕
You'll get there!
It was so lovely watching all your beautiful plants.
Obsessed with your plant collection
I became a fan because of your minimalism ...
