A masterclass in xk120 seats. How you pickup right what they were producing in the 1950s and perfect it without the practice of series production is impressive and amazing. Well done!
Geoff... big fan of your craftsmanship... If I may offer a suggestion... you whip the camera around when you pan... which can make viewer a bit sea sick... how a bit of time lapse with voice over, of the actual work
Wonderful videos. Thanks so much for sharing. They will be so helpful as I restore my own FHC seats in the next couple months. May I ask what glue you use? I've been using Gorilla's spray adhesives. Thanks
Beautiful fitting covers and your attention to details is AMAZING. When I observe the final finished product at the 36:34 mark, it appears that only a few of the bottom pleats match up to the seat back pleats. Unfortunately another shortcoming of the supplier. As well, it seems the finished seat backs appear to be a lighter shade of tan, from the bottoms. Am I over thinking the results? Bad lighting? This had to be a royal headache, dealing with somebody else making those covers!
Bad lighting, they do match colour... I should have mentioned it in the video, but the short lived 10pleat backrest arrangement on xk120's never did line up! Remember the 10 pleat cushions never changed pleat numbers through production, but the backrests went from 11 (which did line up) to 10, which didn't, and then to 9 (which did line up again given larger side bolsters). I have lots of pics of originals to back it up.

Extraordinary quality/workmanship.
It is a pleasure to watch someone really making everything as they should be done. Without any shortcuts. Looks real good 👍
