What gets me is we wouldn’t let an animal suffer in this way why should humans I know there are so many views on this but in my opinion I would rather be put to sleep than suffer unbearable pain I have severe osteoporosis and fracture my spine the pain is unbearable most days an painkillers just don’t work Not only that I have severe emphysema and struggle to breath I’m that breathless most days I can’t walk at all even just sat doing nothing I Greek like I’m suffocating I would rather be put to sleep if I had the option As Diana’s daughter says you have to suffer the humiliation of being cared for Being washed by carers is just awful and so embarrassing Most days I Struggle to eat because I feel so full all the time so eating small amounts feels like eating a 6 course meal and that feeling of dryness in your mouth around your lips all the time is horrible to me My heart goes out to Diana in the way she spent the ending of her life It makes me feel so sad I agree with having to choice to have our lives ended rather than let anyone suffer in this way Just my opinion because I know what’s it’s like to suffer with pain 24/7 It’s not u for a discussion
