Jewels: The Story of the Founding of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (Second Edition)
This novel is based on the founding of Alpha Phi Alpha as told by each of the 7 Jewels. They meet one another for the first time. They plan, argue, laugh, and go through all that they went through in 1905 and 1906.
This book also contains The Alpha Hashtag History Project. At the top of each page, there is a hashtag which you can search for on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The hashtags are facts about individual chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity that most people probably don't know. For example:

I am a member of Omega and found this video post quite informative. I was born a Legacy of Omega [father]; however, but my grandfather on the other side of the family was a Jewel (started a chapter) at a prestigious university down south for A-Phi-A. I have respect for all of my Divine 9s but also for Omega and Alpha as they represent positive male role models in my life while growing up. Learning about the founders as human beings is far more enriching as we endure the trials of life. I will be purchasing this book and hopefully look forward to more. Collegiate knowledge [aka Academia] is key for African Americans' development in this country. This is how we unlock/break the shackles of ignorance, & stereotypes while finding the treasure trove that is within us all.
