This is 2 yrs. late repl.. How come you can't enjoy this as if you were in the concert like many others?!! you f up the energy flow! BTW. Lady Ga-Ga loves the song Radio so... yep Lady Gaga. Also, he sang with a sore throat!! 72,000. Suckr for guitar solos? Stop pausing during them! Yes things are dope here but tone down on pausing live Queen. This is just one opinion. Learn about Live Aid too, please?🙏
Hey Liese, tnx for the comment. Better late then never as they say so you taking 2 years to drop a comment isn't a big deal as I get thousands of new comments and messages every single day so it is impossible for me to get through everything quickly anyways so all good. Plus these videos are always up so everyone sees them at various times so I totally understand and do my best to reply to all comments no matter if it's from a new video or one I posted years ago. UA-cam is my full time job and I love all of you so thanks for chiming in and sharing your thoughts. Sadly I do not have a team I do everything myself which is not only in regards to editing and filming these videos but also my music career, tons of websites for my various brands, graphic design, creating merch, music production, film projects and the list goes on. I am a one person show yet I still do my best to reply to everyone regardless to how long it takes so please comment anytime you want it's always welcomed!I could be like tons of other creators and not bother replying back at all but I enjoy communicating with my audience plus I learn allot about these videos from all of you so thanks for the knowledge drops! I have multiple channels and upload multiple videos regularly so the wealth of knowledge I receive on the daily is incredible and pretty cool! As for your question about how come I can't enjoy this as if I was in the concert like many others is because well I guess it's because I am me and I choose to do things my way not to mention it's also a reaction video so however I'm lead to react in that moment is what we end up with lol for better or for worse haha and that is what it is. Also I did enjoy it too Queen is awesome I've become a massive fan. To be fair though if I wanted to listen to it as if I was at the concert then I would prefer to do so in private in my own time and not while I'm working doing a reaction video so that there is no interruptions. I get it and understand why some of you say to me to stop pausing which is never planned it just kind of happens because well it's a reaction video so however I feel in that particular moment is how the reaction plays out. I don't always pause if you watch my reactions regularly especially in recent times you will see that but yes it just depends what I'm feeling in the moment, again reaction video so I never know in advance how I'm going to react. I know this is probably obvious but yeah if you want to watch a video without the potential of interruptions on my channel then maybe go watch the actual video and not choose to watch my reaction video because I just can't promise that I won't feel the urge to pause it from time to time. I hope that you won't let that deter you from joining our community here and giving some of my other videos a chance to be enjoyed for what they are. I don't know just a thought but hey thanks for the positive info in your comment yep Freddie being able to pull off the performance with a sore throat is awesome and a testimony to his greatness! Lady Gaga loving the song Radio Gaga is super cool to know and yes I'm a sucker for guitar solos absolutely love them and yes I agree that was a bad timing pause lol haha oh well in my defense that was 2 years ago but Im sure it being a reaction video even today I most likely could potentially be tempted to press that pause button which makes me feel powerful like Thanos from Avengers so maybe that's why I love to do it so much lol haha! Back then in 1985 I was raising 2 little boys but I remember my whole neighborhood sitting their living rooms watching MTV and Live Aid!! Because of all the joy and you bring to us. I, for one, am quickly going to order The Queen t-shirt!!! You rock! Keep doing what you love! Keep on truckin' (an old saying)! ✌️

I was 14yrs old when this concert was on I had grown up listening to Queen but this concert made me a fan!!There's so much more of Queen for you to listen to and I for 1 will be watching your channel as the reaction was a well deserved follow! I was there with my husband, we had been there for about six and a half hours before Queen came on. They weren't on the ticket so no one was sure if they would appear and after such a long time people were getting a little jaded until they announced Queen and the stadium erupted. Queen was like a jolt of electricity, they totally energised the whole crowd and we sang every song with them. It was an unbelievable performance and we wanted it to go on for ever, Freddie could have had us tap dancing naked on the roof if he had wanted and believe me, we would have done it, lol, This set was all anyone talked about on the way home, about how amazing it was, Queen rocked the world that day.

I never get tired of the Live Aid concert, especially when first time viewers are so into it and captivated by Freddie's stage presence. I think that's what Queen fans appreciate, sharing Queen's music with those who recognize awesomeness when they see/hear it! Also can you believe that Freddie had a throat infection?? His doctor warned him not to perform, but he did it anyway. As for We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions, if you've ever watched or been to ANY sporting event...that's where you've heard it. We Will Rock You was meant to be a "stadium" song, an easy way to include everyone by stomping and clapping along. Queen were mindful of their fans like that (and to this day the guitarist Brian May especially is active on social media and does his best to interact with fans).
Oh and one more thing, there is a short "making of" We Are the Champions video on UA-cam, showing the band in the studio putting the song together. It's early footage showing how Freddie was a perfectionist. He learned how to use the technology available at the time to produce the exact sounds that he wanted.
Brian is so cerebal but he's so kind and if somebody walked up to him on the street and ask him something about a guitar he will stand there and talk to them for 45 minutes about how to better play this or better play this and this makes it easier. Rogers helpful too, but he's not like Brian because he'll talk to people 5 minutes or 10 minutes and then go on. Brian can do it forever. Now during the making of the movie Rodger and Brian were both on hand as well as Jim Beach and others because these people were acting as them and they wanted to make sure it was as corrupt as possible even if it was off with some of the days like before they didn't diagnose with AIDS and 1985 when he really wasn't diagnosed until 1987. It was only a two-hour filmer left and they spent 62 million on the movie and it grows 1.28 billion at the box office alone within about eight or nine months and Lord knows what it's made since then.

The thing all reactors say is "this is a Queen song!!!!!??????" You have just scratched the surface. Yes, the live gigs are fantastic but some of the official videos are great too. For instance now that you saw the live version of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" watch the studio version. You can see how it was Freddie's tribute to Elvis. Any songs from Wembley 86 concerts and Montreal 81 are unbelievable. Queen is woven into the fabric of our lives. I've been listening to them for almost 50 yrs and they never get old.
100% agree about doing official videos and live versions. Queen was so good live, and video has lost the importance it had, so now many are dismissive of official vids, but Queen put a ton of creativity into those too. In Crazy Little Thing Called Love, you can't appreciate the extra "nods" to Elvis without the vid, like Freddie's version of "Black Leather Elvis", or dancing around the pole (shades of Jailhouse Rock), or Brian's oversized Aviator sunglasses (commonly called "Elvis glasses" back then). Without the vid, you don't know that those 72K+ people at Live Aid (which sold out before they knew Queen would play), were doing the clap & arm motions from the Radio Gaga vid. BoRhap, I Want To Break Free, Fat Bottomed Girls, Who Wants To Live Forever & Princes of the Universe are just some where the official vids add to the enjoyment.

Sitting here with the biggest smile on my face thinking yep Queen has got another one!!! Welcome to the club. As you delve more into Queen you will realize how diverse they are. They do all kinds of genres Heavy Metal to the Charleston and everything in between. They have a huge catalogue it will take you awhile. I can’t pick a favourite Queen song it totally depends on the day but one of the touching ones I love is Love of my Life. They say Freddie wrote it for his fiancé. Watch the live version in Rio. There was about 250,000 people at the concert and Queen wasn’t sure if they would understand them and when they went to sing this song the crowd sang it to them. Queen was blown away and it still makes me cry!!

Crazy Little Thing Called Love was Freddie’s tribute to Elvis, written in 10 minutes in the bath tub 🥰. Great reaction, love watching this Live Aid performance, best ever, (don’t know how many times now) ❤️Freddie❤️

Your reaction was fabulous, I couldn't stop smiling! I guess someone has told you the set consisted of partial Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga (Lady Gaga got her name from this song), Hammer to Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We will Rock you, and We are the Champions. All ;original Queen songs. Each of the 80 acts had 20 minutes. Most sang one or two songs. Some tried to sell brand new songs. Queen decided to condense some of their most classic stadium anthems into the set. So they were shortened versions. Everyone backstage heard the crowd singing along with everything and ran to the monitors. David Bowie said "how do you follow that?" Queen completely stole the show. We're talking Elton John, U2, Led Zeplin, Rod Stewart and on and on.. As to new ones I want to suggest Another One Bites the Dust, Under Pressure, and Love of My Life, live from Wembley 1986. All iconic! There are so many fabulous songs. They made 19 albums in just under 20 years.
The largest one night concert paid crowd they performed to was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - the crowd size was ~250,000 and they repeated the crowd size for the second-night concert as well. You can watch it on UA-cam. Enjoy your Queen journey, you have just begun. There are over 300 Queen songs (not counting Freddie's solo albums) and 98% of them are totally amazing and each one is completely different than any other. All four members each wrote a number of hits. Keep watching the live stuff if you can. Unlike Live-Aid the actual Queen concerts were 2+ hours long and jaw-dropping. You can tell what part of a Queen concert you are viewing by the amount of clothes Freddie is wearing. He tended to strip down as the show progressed. :) Great reaction!

Yes, Crazy Little Thing Called Love was Queen's homage to Elvis! And apparently, Freddie wrote it in the bathtub in 10 minutes. Lol. That man. We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions are also Queen and I have NO doubt you've heard them a billion times. Queen is deeply interwoven into the public consciousness, even though many don't know its Queen. After all, both of those songs have become staples at pep rallies and sports events. They've also got a ton of other hits like Another One Bites the Dust, You're My Best Friend, I Want it All, and more that you've probably heard before in commercials and movies.
If you're craving more Queen, you need to check out their Wembley performances! A great place would be to start with Another One Bites the Dust and Under Pressure both live at Wembley. Also, for a cool video reaction, One Vision (Extended Version) is killer! The boys had a LOT of fun in it. There's also a 'Making Of' documentary that I'm sure all of your subscribers would love to see your reaction to! It's kind of long at 20 minutes or something but it actually shows Queen's studio process! It's very cool.
They were all over the board genre wise, they left no one untouched, and all it took for this band was one song you heard and liked and your being reeled in...hook, line and sinker! Geniuses....all of them.

"call and response" sounds iike the title to a religious experience. Come to think of it .....
"The World We Created" sounds like they wrote it just for this concert but it was written and sung many years before. It just fit in perfect for this show
As a guitar player. Brian May was the player who inspired me to pick up a guitar. I will never hold a candle to Brian, his tone is so unique and recognizable.
Brian's tone is impossible to replicate, his unique homemade Red Special is part of guitar folk law.
I was raised on Rock music, especially Queen and am so happy about it, there has never been a band like them before or since.
I was never able to see Queen play as the original 4 as Freddie died when I was 2 but Queen's legacy and music will last forever.

Old 46-year-old guy here. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my music-loving heart. It means a lot to me to see your enthusiasm for Live Aid. To see that it really moved you. You gave me some hope that the love for real talent and energy in music, of which Queen's Live Aid concert is a good example, will be kept alive by people like yourself. It's so precious to me to know that!

This performance is so breathtaking. Freddie and Brian playing piano and guitar will mesmerize you. This is one of my favorite live performances. You're going to love it.
Actually, the whole concert was amazing.
The only problem you might run into with a White Queen, Live at Hammersmith Odeon is copyright issues. Reactions to that one song are removed more than any other. Having said that, it is SO worth your time to view it. The call and response between the piano and guitar will have you going crazy!
I suggested that as well, talk about a song that actually plays your soul!

Everytime they played live, they made you feel every note! Studio recordings took away from their passion and talent instead of helping them. One that plays your actual soul..."White Queen Live at the Odeon" is one of their younger performances, and the interlude will give you the chills, it's as if the instruments are communicating, it's UNREAL! They couldn't do the whole song of "We Will Rock You" because of the time limit, but there are live versions of the whole song. If you can find the one where he is shirtless and wearing shorts...that is my favorite cuz he is such a ham in it in a way only he could pull off 😂😂 😂 ( I think it's live Montreal 81) He was a beautiful humanbeing who genuinely loved his fans as did the whole band and gave us 110% if not more with every show. Loved your reaction video. And no your not stupid on thinking of Elvis...you nailed it, Freddie wrote it as a tribute to Elvis!
Queen only did their own song. Most were written by Freddie and Brian, but Roger and John also wrote several. They have an extensive catalog of awesome music. My favorite live ones are White Queen live at Hammersmith Oden 1975, Love of My Life live at Wembley 1986, Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986, Who Wants to Live Forever live at Wembley 1986. Bohemian Rhapsody live at Wembley 1976, Save Me live in Montreal 1981

There are several great videos later on when Freddie was too ill to do live performances anymore. The Show Must Go On is a must. His vocals were amazing and it was the last song on the last album that Freddie did while he was still alive. He was only months away from passing away and Brian asked him if he thought he could do it and in Freddie’s style, he said “F--k yes and downed a vodka and proceeded to nail it in ONE TAKE! Brian said his voice sounded like a laser through glass. It’s incredible. Innuendo is another fantastic one, also on their final album done together.
There are many more, but it would be a book to list more now!! Ha ha.
As far as Live Aid. You need to know that the audience wasn’t even a Queen audience and Freddie had them eating out of his hand immediately. There were several popular groups participating that day. It was 16 hours long with each group given a 17 minute slot. Queen wasn’t even on the written list of bands. They waited until the last minute to give their answer if they would attend. It was a charity concert for the starving people in Ethiopia. I watched it live on TV that Saturday morning and when Queen came on my jaw dropped. They blew everyone else out of the water. They stole the show. It’s still listed as the best live rock and roll gig ever.
No one will ever have the voice Freddie did.
BTW- you probably heard We will Rock You before because it’s sung at every sporting event along with We Are the Champions they are anthems and timeless!!
An interesting thing about this performance is that Freddie's voice really wasn't doing too well that day and he had moments where he struggled a bit with his pitch. That said, a slightly struggling Freddie Mercury is still better than 95% of all other frontmen out there, not to mention he's so charismatic that any shortfall in his voice is more than made up for in stage presence.

When you get to Under Pressure, please do the live at Wembley , the one with the call and answer with the crowd, and also listen to the studio version with David Bowie. Both are very worth it.

Hi I was there at Live Aid and if you weren't a Queen fan before you definitely left as one. They were phenomenal and their performance will go down in history as being the best performance ever. After Queen it went a little flat when the other bands came on, we were all chanting for Queen to come back on. I was also at the 1986 Wembley concert the following day and the finale one when Freddie & Queen flew over us in helicopters xxx The songs they sung were :

This was just 18 minutes allowed to each band. Queen's usual concerts last about 2 hours of awesome performance. They do 20 plus songs usually. There are great DVDs starting in the early 70's, live at tbe Rainbow, their performance at the Odeon, all the way through great concerts in Paris , London, etc. in 1977, 1979, Live at the Bowl and Montreal in 1981, even a couple of songs on Saturday Night Live, and South America tours where there were audiences in the 200 000 range, and their final tour was 1986, the Magic tour with songs written for the Highlander movie along with many others. Also, please check out his solo album, Mr. Bad Guy. That has several good tracks. His duets on his BARCELONA album, and the final release was this past June that Dave Clark remastered from " Time" The Innuendo album has no live performance, but is inspiring. Who Wants To Live Forever live at Wembley 1986 the First Night, and Fat Bottomed Girls live at the Bowl Milton Keynes 1982. Another Queen song you would know is Another one Bites The Dust, there is a cool version at Wembley 1986.

Could Freddie hold an audience, or what?! Each act was given 20 minutes. Queen rehearsed timing to perfection even allowing for banter & sing-along! Such was their precision that, just as they end their set, the timer on the bottom right front of our screen goes red..Time's up.

I actually never heard half these songs until I researched Freddie after seeing the movie. In fact, I never heard of Freddie Mercury until the movie came out and I was born in 1947! No You Tube, no internet, no social media in those. If you were living your life doing other things, who was playing on your car radio were simply invisible and rather insignificant. You certainly appreciate the musicians, which is great.. a lot to take in when first hearing Queen. The lyrics, they wrote The amazing artistry on the instruments. The vocal diversity of Freddie backed up vocals by Roger on drums and Brian May on lead guitar. The numerous hit songs written by all four members of the group. The solos that showcase Brian, which gives Freddie a break because Freddie; well Freddie just throws everything out there with every song ( no autocue) be it a belter or a tender ballad to someone he loves. Just awesome! They were a multi talented band of brothers who played together and when dear Freddie began to fail and in the last months of his life wrapped themselves about him and helped carry him to the end. One thing a lot of people don't know, is that all 4 Queen members wrote #1 hit songs. All 4 have been inducted into the Song Writer's Hall of Fame, along with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I don't think even the Beatles achieved that. It is one of the reasons Queen music is so diverse. Amazing!! You should really try Save Me and Dragon Attack at the 1981 Montreal Concert. Other epic songs include White Queen at the Odeon Hammersmith, and one of the first thrash metal songs, Stone Cold Crazy at the Rainbow!! Yup, Crazy Little Thing Called Love was a tribute to Elvis, written by Freddie. Brian wrote We Will Rock You and Freddie wrote We Are The Champions. They are usually paired together, except the Wembley 1986 concerts when they put Friends Will Be Friends in the middle of them to mix it up a bit.

I was one of the 1+ billion people watching this live on TV. The energy that came through the screen was phenomenal, can't imagine the electricity in the stadium that day!
I saw Queen so many times that I can't remember them all accurately. I would think maybe 25 times. The first time was in 1973 and they just blew me away at how good they were.
I play guitar and a bit of drums but these people were different class.
I'm 62 and I just love watching your reactions to these songs which have been a part of my life. It's really funny and you obviously appreciate the music. Freddie of course takes the applause but you just cannot imagine how good the other guys were too. Roger and John were a fantastic rhythm section. They were like a ticking clock and some of John's bass lines are simply legendary. Roger is a fantastic drummer by any measure and of course Brian is a great guitar play. You can't get in a band like Queen unless you are brilliant.
Of course they were all multi-instrumentalists. John Brian and Freddie all play piano John and Roger play drums, All of them can play guitar and the key to it all was that they could all write global hits records. Name me another band with four top song writers in it. There isn't one.

I remember watching this on TV live as an 11-year-old. Live Aid was boring until Freddie came on then the arena & atmosphere changed instantly and went wild/electric: P
He had the audience (at home and in the arena) in the palm of his hand. People were talking for days about it asking if you'd seen it.
Freddie just had that 'IT' factor and was mesmerizing; he was a genius on many levels. Missed and really treasured, it's great seeing a new generation discover him :)

FYI regarding the Final Years of Queen, as the story goes according to Brian, before a Freddie was incapacitated from going to the recording studio, Freddie would come into the studio to record and would slam a shot of Vodka and continue.
On the brighter side, and there is somewhat a brighter side. Freddie worked until he could no longer. Freddie encouraged the rest of the band to continue to write and pass them onto Freddie. As Freddie was confined to his bed, he had a synthesizer/drum machine and a recorder. He would take those pieces of paper with words from the band and recorded songs he put together, while in bed.
After Freddie died, these songs were recorded by the band using Freddie’s voice recordings. The recordings were released after Freddie’s death on the album “Made in Heaven”.
In particular on the album “Made in Heaven”, while recording “Mother Love”, Brian recounted that Freddie said “Oh I don't feel too well, I'm going to go home and we'll finish it tomorrow”. That was the last time Freddie was in the studio. The final verse was written and sung by Brian May a couple of years after Mercury died in November 1991.
In “Mother Love” the verse that just makes me so sad is:
“Out in the city, in the cold world outside, I don't want pity, just a safe place to hide, Mama please, let me back inside.”

I LOVE your reaction to this great band. I'm 65 and sorry to say, I never listened to Queen...never saw them perform, didn't even know what they looked like. Then I watched the movie,Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018 (you need to check that out... Rami Maleck, who played Freddie, truly embodied his energy and countenance) After that, I was hooked forever on these amazing guys.... particularly Freddie Mercury who does have the greatest voice in history. I'm obsessed and watch everything I can find about them. Whether it's a parody or a tribute I don't know. Probably both!
The stadium at the end of this clip *IS NOT WEMBLEY.* Wembley is an Oval shaped stadium with a roof. What you see in this clip is the television broadcast switching over to the other side of the Atlantic, Philidelphia I think. It was the first time these live links were being done across the Atlantic, on such a large scale. So not everything was as tidy as you might expect today.

We Will Rock You is definitely longer, but they had a very strict 20 minute set limit, and so they only did the first verse plus the guitar solo here.
Hammer to Fall was their major new hit at the time, although nowadays I don't know that it's anyone's favorite. I like it a lot, but there are other songs I like better.
Pledges to Live Aid were very sluggish until Queen went on. Bob Geldof (the guy who pulled the benefit show together) was on his way to go yell at the BBC people) when Queen went on, and donations went up after their performance. Other recs: since you're a musician, I bet you'd love Dragon Attack, from the '81 Montreal concert. It's not actually a song about a dragon; it's more of a jam session they liked and decided to put into their show. And Under Pressure, live at Wembley in '86, starts with almost TWO AND A HALF MINUTES of Freddie playing call-and-response with the crowd. Freddie's arguably THE greatest front man of any rock band ever, and that song at that concert demonstrates why. Also this Live Aid set, of course; he had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

We Will Rock you is pure Queen and not Kiss. There is a mix of Elvis, Chuck Berry in it. At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine's in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded be the horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us RMC's were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Marine Commando's who had fought a life and death war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is one of the two worst memories I have.

Hi! New to the channel. Great reaction! It was an awesome day! I was there for the Live Aid concert in '85 at Wembley. I swear I had no energy for at least 3 days afterward, it was a long hot day filled with energy. Lol It was an incredible show with so many talented artists. Estimates for attendance at the shows (There were 2 that day) one at Wembley Stadium had about 72,000, and one at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia had about 100,000). Phil Collins actually played at both shows, thanks to the Concorde. A show I would not have missed for the world to be sure. As others have said, take a listen to Under Pressure, it is a fantastic piece and the mixture of David Bowie with Queen is a once in a lifetime listen.
If you want something different to listen to, that you probably never heard of, try a song called Firth of Fifth by Genesis. Genesis was a Prog Rock band that started in 1969, and at the height of the Prog movement had Peter Gabriel as the lead vocals and Phil Collins as the drummer. The song has incredible keyboard and guitar solos that are amazing. The solos aren't the typical shredding style, but truly elevate the song. If you want music that will take you on a journey, that is one that will do it.

I wasn't there but I remember watching it as a little girl...We watched everything back then...it was out of this world!!! It's like being a kid again...when we had real singers in all music genres...

The year I got my bachelors I went on 1st date w the man I would fall in love with, Queen n FreddieMercury n the man I eventually married. That was 1975 n am in love with them still. The love of my life n Freedie have passed but the love is as strong as ever. Now I watch channels like yours n every song brings back the happiness these 2 men brought to my life. Freddie was a Performer, using the entire stage. In real life he was quiet and shy, so, a typical artist with talent that has to be expressed somehow. I know you’re a musician yourself and it shows in your videos. Watch a couple of voice teachers reacting to Queen songs because then it makes watching these videos even more in depth. Freddie used every bit of his voice which is very hard to do, as you know. Just LOVE your reactions, you’re expressing my joy when I listen and sing along too. 🥰🙏
Yes, both We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions have become great anthems for sporting events, and rightly so! And I am so glad you are watching the live performance, think what you would have missed if you had closed your eyes. lol

Yes they are all Queen song's,they do sing some Rock And Roll within the live shows and you'll find Freddie doing some vocal improvisation I think Wembley 1986 and a few other live shows

Freddie and Queen are at their best live,so you'll have The Miracle video as this was when Freddie was ill and didn't do live shows,you have These Are The Days Of Our Lives, I'm Going Slightly Mad,all made towards the end of his life.
This is everything! My dad drove us down from Stoke to London for this in an Austin Maxi(look it up). I was 5 yrs old at the time and I was just learning about the world. The maxi broke down on the M1 and we got towed to the services. He fixed the clutch on the car in the services with the help of his mate. All I remember was being sooo hot and pissed off. We got into the stadium and I spent 7 hours on my dads shoulders. The only thing I remember about this day was Queen. Watching Freddie was like watching David Copperfield. He was a magician. 25 ish yrs later, my dad is ill now and this is the memory we share. Just cant explain how much this means to me.
Love to watch people become new Queen fans. I was so lucky to be young back then. Miss seeing Freddie but legends never die. Freddie had laryngitis but sang anyway as it was a free concert to raise $ for a famine in Africa. 40% of the world either attended or watched the concert and Queen blew every other band away.
Every act had 20 minutes each. Queen went on hour 6. They stole the show! Greatest 20 minutes ever!

Just sat down with my 8 Grandchildren to watch this. All I have to say is they were glued to the show, reacting to Freddie, the Band and the crowd throughout. When it was over I received a few "Respect Grandpa" comments from them all and a few 'High Fives' - respects to you too from London
I just found your review of this, and I must say, it does my heart so warm to see a Young Lady like you react to this great of the greatest performance of all time, I am the same age as Brian and Roger so this does this Old Lady's believe in the youth of today, I am very happy to join you on your reactions to Queen and most of all Freddie, there will only be one singer like this, I really didn't get into Queen until the movie Bho Rap came out, when they were so popular during this time frame, I was busy raising my 3 children and working a full-time job, please let me know when you react to other Queen concerts and song's, and Thank You for taking time to act to the greatest band of all time, and to think Dr. Brian May who plays guitar, and Roger Taylor on the drums are still touring to sell-out crowds, both in their '70s,, they are now called Queen+Adam Lambert, check it out. This was a spectacular performance, despite the fact that Freddie had laryngitis the week before and was advised by his doctor not to participate. This stadium holds 72 thousand plus however many more were seated on the playing field. Thank you for your enthusiasm, I know Queen fans everywhere will appreciate it. Brian May, the lead guitarist wrote We Will Rock You, Freddie wrote "We Are The Champions". Both songs are frequently played at sporting events.
