She grew up in Washington Heights, NY. The crime rate is 14.5 per 1,000 residents while where I live is 37 per 1,000 residents. Phoenix, AZ has one of the highest crime rates. She grew up in a safe neighborhood and she went to college but dropped out to become a stripper and pursue her music career. This whole thing of I had to is absolute bs. I live in my car in a much worse area and I ain't out here committing crimes. Let's be real, she only got away with it because her victims were men. I can tell you from experience, no one cares.

1-2 years for raping a girl is honestly fucking insane. How fucked the legal system is is not really a hot take, but this the kinda shit that made me not even want to bother reporting my sexual assault as a male.
I mean, to put it even worse imo, my dad was killed by a woman in a traffic accident. Technically she didn't do anything wrong except fail to yield (no DUI, no reckless driving, etc), but I mean. my fucking dad died, and it was completely preventable by her.
After half a year we finally got a meeting with the prosecution and they said at max she would get 12 months and a 1k fine, but she would almost definitely serve no actual time in prison for it. And that we'd probably have to wait another half a year or more for her to actually be sentenced by a judge. In the most open case I could think of of "hey she killed someone, she admits it", she won't face justice for over a year, and that justice will probably be some hours of volunteering at a children's hospital and maybe a slap on the wrist fine.

Good pimps take care of their women and don't hold them down (which is why it's difficult to hate on a pimp simply for being one as it can be a mutual arrangement that is beneficial for both like the pimp getting a cut of each client in exchange for protection and security). lowlife pimps abuse and does tho, and they're not really respected by women or men alike either.
People don't sign up to be abused or drugged and stolen from. That's the difference. People do sign up for consequences if they fuck a dealer over, don't pay up in time, or start beefs or get involved in beefs with a rival gang or test their limits. Being real is all about adhering to certain rules and concepts, don't fuck with people that don't deserve it and be truthful about your business. If you're a snake you're going to be called out as such which is what is happening here.
Thinks of iit like this: If you sign up for military at the front line you know the risk. You can't exactly hate on a vet for killing another soldier, and you can't blame the enemy for killing them or fighting back either. But if someone hurts civilians, bombs them and/or rape the locals people react. We can all agree that you shouldn't kill someone but there are exceptions to the rule, ye? And killing civilians isn't ok but the enemy at the front lines is.That's kind of why Cardi B, R Kelly, Diddy and Rick Ross etc. gets hate, cus not all crimes are similar and intentions matter. The reasons behind them crimes talked about in raps are different and can be understood/respected depending on context.
Some people have no morals at all but most do, at the very least have principles they go by. So I do think people definitely care who's affected whether it's in raps or not. Also, most separate music from the person, and hearing life from someone elses perspective doesn't necessarily mean they agree with what they're saying/doing but would like to see consequences for their wrongdoings if they're bad enough.
