This video really doesn’t do justice to how insane the hunt was. He was in the wind for months after his second escape. Between, a bus, a plane, and a stolen car, he made it all the way to Florida in a week. Literally across the country. He continued to kill with the police having no leads for months. It’s honestly unbelievable
I just watched the doc on Netflix, it’s fucking insane how many times his name was brought up to the police or friends, and people would just not believe immediately that bundy would do that, even when the evidence was blinding, even his girlfriend at the time was in denial with things like the color of his car, that the shade wasn’t exactly the same. I actually put a lot of blame on the authorities and close people because they being naive lead to many other innocent girls being killed because they weren’t being persistent and has biases

It's a genuine disorder, I forget what it's called, but people who like killers/serial killers have the fascination because they imagine that the killer wouldn't hurt them and would possibly kill for them, kind of deal, others find it thrilling because they like the danger aspect or the "bad boy" aspect. human brains are weird, for example, some men are aroused by legs or feet, despite it not being a s*xual body part, their brains get signals/confusion (I am bad at explaining it) but it's just a body part that isn't inherently s*xual then made to be by the person, an abnormality in the brain (when it becomes a f*tish or obsession) it's a much much more watered down and and surprisingly less weird thing, in comparison, but some humans are more drawn to certain things, some people are okay with the thought of certain things because they live in fantasy, it's usually because of upbringing and brain chemistry, it's not normal to be attracted to that, but they'd not be interested if it were some ugly, old f*t man, but because Ted was personable and appeared (to them) handsome or charming, they couldn't picture him doing it and assume he'd treat them differently or like the danger aspect or how it's taboo. It certainly isn't normal at all, but it's a genuine brain disorder (BOZE vs The World does good at covering this stuff and explains it much better than me) I do feel for those women, it's very sad to be that deluded and lacking that much self esteem, it's embarrassing at best but also very disrespectful to all of the victims and their families. I am not sure if it affects men or not, I wouldn't be shocked if there were some men who also had this condition, but as far as I know, it is more inherent for women, although that could have to do with less prolific female killers who were attractive or personable to the men (for example, the woman in Japan who tried to k*ll her partner and was dubbed something like a "yandere" or something, as it was in Japan, was praised by many disturbed men, many were fascinated and had similar fantasies which is equally disturbing and sad, I think we'd see it more if it were more commonly like that, but all in all, it's totally wrong and not at all normal and those individuals need serious mental treatment.)
