Thanks for this! 3/4/22 I’ve recently had good service for Rosemary brushes from Wind River Arts in Texas. Easy, personal service. Lovely brushes! Unusual styles and lengths that I am glad to have, and haven’t seen elsewhere.
In the 36 years that I have been painting, I have used many brushes from many manufacturers. I have found Rosemary & Co. brushes to be of the up most in quality, construction, and customer support.
Helpful video, particularly on how to order from Rosemary & Co and shipping to the U.S.. If you do another review of brushes, I'd have loved to see you playing with them with paint, so I could get a better idea of how you're using them, how they each perform, so I can better decide which I want.
Hi mate. Regarding sizes . If you look in the printed catalogue they are all printed real life size. It's a huge help when deciding on what you want. They really are beautiful brushes I agree.
These are great brushes I've been using them for a while now . If you get the catalogue next time you order some brushes they're shown life- size so you know exactly what size you're getting .
Like you I recently received an order of brushes. I can't wait to use them. I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the pricing. I can only imagine what they would cost if they were sold in art/craft stores. Fortunately that savings is passed onto the customer.
Good job. I bought 20 recently. The boxing was so nice I might hang it. I bought from a USA distributor. I had my brushes in three days . They even followed to see i received them. Without a doubt the best brushes I’ve ever used. I bought Escoda brushes a few months ago and after one or two uses they were falling apart. Rosemary is by far best brush company. Actually proud of them in today’s world for their quality. The quality is best I’ve seen in twenty years. I’ve tried about every company.
Bruce, you will love egbert brushes. I find them great for applying paint on top of wet paint without disturbing the wet under layer of paint. Perfect for highlighting trees and clouds. I also cut an egbert to square off the tips, and use that to paint grass and weeds.
Bruce Habowski,Jr. Do you like them for laying down paint as in alla prima or some plain air painting? Would you say they are better than “average longer filberts”? Thanks for responding
Buyers beware of international delivery it's getting worse of late and I don't recommend it as my last order hasn't arrived and the run around is dizzing as it has not been a good experience
I just got my Rosemary brushes via fedex in 3days from England to Miami and also ordered an art book from Ukraine and that came ups 4 day. This is lately, but i have had month to month half from China and even from here!!!! I guess its just were you order from. Iv also order from Greece as well. Just be careful with everyone read there reviews.🙂
Just today found about this company :) I plan to buy some, but before that ordered catalogue. Interesting.. Whats the difference between Ivory and Evergreen brushes
Hi - The Evergreen are full synthetic and from my experience, I feel they glide the paint on nicely and allow for controlled strokes/shapes. The Ivory are a cross between nylon and bristle and I have found them useful for getting some paint on that doesn't require great edge control...not as sharp edge potential as the Evergreen. Hope this helps.
Love the Rosemary & Co brushes...great customer service..fast delivery...neatly packed...wide range of..oh I feel like a kid on Xmas when I receive my orders... Great idea. I'll keep it in mind for a future video.

Hi Glenn - I've especially enjoyed the Dagger brushes....never used that type before.
These are great brushes I've been using them for a while now . If you get the catalogue next time you order some brushes they're shown life- size so you know exactly what size you're getting .
Yes!...having full size pics are nice...what you see is what you get.
wayne westwood What kind of size is good? I never bought rosemary brushes before so I don’t have the catalogue.

Yes....the company offers a great product at an affordable price
The best rosemary brushes review I found on youtube, well done my friend!
Wow! Thanks Michael....

I'm glad you are enjoying them. Where in the US are you getting them from? I had to order overseas.
I never got around to trying a dagger or sword brush. I look forward to see how you use those brushes effectively.
The dagger brushes are wonderful...get some ! :)
Thanks heaps for this review, the moment I heard you say "you can change the currency to your country in top right corner" I did that immediately.
Yes...I found that useful. Thanks for taking a look at the video.
How much are there brushes?
Hi Chris - I'm not sure of the cost at the moment.....I bought these a few years ago. Thanks for checking the video out.

Hi again.. Yes...that's what I was thinking...especially because of the long bristles.
The long bristles give the brush a very light touch.
Hi. Are the classic egberts just like longer filberts?
They are...pretty much. I like the Egbert for softening edges because they flex great and don't disturb paint layers too much.
Bruce Habowski,Jr. Do you like them for laying down paint as in alla prima or some plain air painting? Would you say they are better than “average longer filberts”? Thanks for responding
I don't have a history of using egberts, so don't have a definitive answer for you. This was my first one.
these are short handel or long ?? and this video is really helpful and i also going to order it for watercolor painting
Hi - These are long handled brushes....very enjoyable to use. I am especially fond of the angled brushes(swords...I think their called).
@@habowskistudio2724 yaa same here
