    I absolutely love your cooking environment it’s perfect in my opinion. Really like how your funneling the smoke from the camp chef to the outside that’s so smart. Makes me wish I was living back in PA with all that snow really makes for some enjoyable cooking.

      Still not sure on the new Wi-Fi model maybe in a few months, hard to justify buying a new one when the other is working great. If you went with the sear box that is all you would need for burgers & hot dogs. The Sidekick gives you more options and you would need to buy the grill box. Not like you have to buy the all accessories for the sidekick right away. Me I would go with the Sidekick. Thanks for asking and watching. 🍻

    Wow killer setup ! Long time no see, haven’t been on UA-cam in a while. I was searching flat top griddle and camp chef woodwind and saw this ! I am thinking of changing things up from my original Traeger 075 and Weber S 330. This is the setup I was thinking about except with natural gas hookups. Can that be done ? I remember watching you a while ago throwing down some butcher skills with meats, I learned a lot thanks. I was wondering about quality of camp chef but I think your setup says it all ! Hi Brian, great vid man! I love your little "cooking room" there, its really awesome. The food looked really good. I'm a Traeger man myself, they both work the same anyways lol, besides the seer box.
    Can I ask you how do you like those heaters you have? I'm trying to find something to use for my garage when I want to sit out there, but I have no idea what to use. Would one of them warm a standard size garage? Can you please tell me what brand they are so I can check them out? Any help would be really appreciated.

    • @BrianEibner
      @BrianEibner  5 років тому

      They are Mr Heater 30,000 BTU and 10,000 BTU vent less blue flame. I'm surprise so far how they heat this space. I would assume the 30,000 BTU would heat/take the chill out of a single stall. Insulated, with a ceiling? Natural gas force air the best for the garage. thank you for watching.

      @JoeLazzara 5 років тому

      @@MichaelRei99 Yeah I don't know which one you had seen, but mine has thick, heavy gauge steel, smoke doesn't leak from the lid at all and it holds the temp like it should. In fact, all of the parts are thick steel including the drip tray and the heat deflector(?). It gives the perfect amount of smoke like its suppose to do and it grills great. But more importantly is the food, everything comes out juicy, tender and delicious. I did not need a commercial to tell me to buy one. I did research, talked to the guys who sell barbecue equipment and the Traeger was highly recommended. Not only that, if Traeger's can be used along with other pits in bbq competitions, then it'll work for me.

      No I don't but believe me there are plenty a gaps here and there plus the ridge vent and gap a long the bottom of three out of the four walls, I should be alright and now with summer almost here I will be removing the wall with the door. Personally I don’t like eggs cooked like that. It destroys the delicate texture of the egg. I’m sure i could heat up my omelette pan on that baby. I have a question , what do you plan to do when the summer heat gets cranking ? It’ll probably be like a sauna in there.

    • @BrianEibner
      @BrianEibner  5 років тому

      I made it so the panels can be removed on the door side. Just the sun shine heats it up a bit, so for sure it will get hot this summer. Also long the cedar boards (fence side) there is a 1 foot gap at the bottom that I have closed off now during the winter. It's going to be a learning process. After watching Brian's videos I am going to build a similar structure when I get back to the states from the ole' sand box. I have already built the elevated pad for it. I think I want to put the flat Griddle in the center with a table around it for guests, my own little Benny Hannas LOL. The accessories on one wall with the metal backing. A hood in the center. I like the ventilation at the bottom of your panels, great thinking ahead. I don't get below zero in the winter in Alabama but I certainly get down to the teens. I am going to use double clear panels with an air gap between for insulation. Being a elevated pad (about 3 feet) I will use the floor for ventilation. Now, the summers get brutal in Alabama so I am still thinking of how to cool it down a bit. Maybe some A/C. I love your videos and have been binge watching and picking up a lot of tips.
