  • In this video I show you how you tap into a 4inch pipe using a 4inch T pipe connector. I had to do some really precise cutting and connection to get the job done I had a gas main in the way and had to take care not to cut into it which would be a disaster. Thankfully with my experience it all went ok.
    Tools I used:
    · 4inch Grinder
    · Pipe Lubricant
    Health & Safety:
    · Eye protection
    · Gloves
    · Dust Mask
    · Ear Protection

Whilst that was a very useful video, and thanks for posting it, strictly speaking it's not fixed.

Thanks for the videos. If you are taking aco drains into the foul water drains, would they not need to go through a p trap to prevent sewer smells coming out of the aco channels?

@@creativecrambo cheers for the reply. I’m certainly no expert! I’m here learning how to do it to do the job myself so appreciate folks like yourself doing the vids. Wasn’t questioning what you were doing at all but asking if you were taking them to foul water, would you need a trap. After a ton more googling I realise the answer is yes :) thanks again, top content. Subscribed, hope it helps

@@Homeworkingprofessional thanks for the reply jase I've been in the game 35 years seen it done it and got the tee shirt ,the pipe I was connecting on to will have a built in trap down the line with a none return valve fitted and probably goes through a sediment chamber to to collect the debris, I wouldn't put a vid out like this if I didn't know what I was doing, thanks for the sub mate👍👍, hope what I do can help yout to all the best and be safe 👊.

Do you need a fall on the pipe from the ACO to the downpipe?

Thanks for watching j GIlder 👍👍 they you definitely need a fall in any drainage you do that pipe was about a meter long so the fall was about 5mm over 1m , the water has to go away, and you 💯 don't want to have a back fall, thanks for your time watching the vid appreciate that mate 👍.
