I had nowhere to "copy the text". But I just kept opening the folders manually by looking at what I WAS supposed to "copy". After not finding it in the first two folders, I lost hope when you then started showing how to delete/fix it. But then you said "if you didn't fid it in either of these two folders, try these other two". And of course my luck being the way it is, I found it in the LAST folder, lol. Then I followed your directions to delete it. Back luck aside, this was a GREAT, painless, helpful video. I'd imagine that most people, once they couldn't "copy" the text your provided, would just give up. Great work though. I got rid of the "Program". Ironically, it WAAS a virus that my father "accidentally" installed; that i uninstalled incorrectly. And now the last remnance of it is gone. THANK YOU!
Had this similar issue when installing Microsoft Office for students, did a fresh install prior and didnt realize Microsoft teams was already downloaded, went to redownload office off school website, and then after some deleting/uninstalling, had this blank program pop up. Thank you kind sir, simple tutorial :)
Hey mate same me too, just bought office and noticed that microsoft teams popped everytime I start my computer and the program pops up, how did you remove it bro? :)
@@nznt3 Go to Task Manager's "Start-up" tab, find "Microsoft Teams" in the program "Name" column, right click, select "Disable". Just did it myself a few minutes ago! 🙂
Dude, you are a life savior, this is amazing! Thank you, i had 2 of this "Program" startup apps and they kind of concerned me at first, but thanks to you video they were gone in like 3 minutes.
No kidding here... Over a year ago, I found that inactive 'Program' entry bothersome so I took my laptop that I bought from the Microsoft Store at the Yorkdale Mall back there to look into this. I got my laptop back a couple of hours later with a 'bad disk' issue and a bill of about $150. The disk was perfectly fine before; it's the 'Program' entry that was diving me batty. So onto Amazon for a new SSD and by the time I was back home, I was out just under $400. You are invaluable, and yes, I bought you coffee! Oh yeah, and that MS Store is now closed... hmmm. And my culprit was JioMeet. You showed me this time.
Thank you very much, Sir. I got this problem after I uninstalled an application. I've been frustrated for days, trying to get rid of it. Your second method with File Explorer worked for me.
Great video! I searched a lot about this problem but could not find any explanation or useful way to solve it... then i found this video and i could finally solve the "program" problem. For me it appeared when i installed the Microsoft Office programs and turns out that the file of an older version of Teams was still on my PC, so after the Office installation, that old file became the mysterious "program". Thank you for making this video🙂👍
Thank you for your video explanation. I thought this was an application that puts the health of the computer at risk. Thanks to you, I found that which application I deleted had consecutive files and removed it. Thank you.
worked wonders, had a random file named "Other" in my Windows startup that was left behind from uninstalling Riot Vanguard and didn't exist and this guide helped me get rid of it.
This helped me.I instaled soundlook ,then i unninstalled and that "program" was remain on startup.I followed your step in regedit and i delete it.Thanks bro !
bro my pc has been slowing down and has gotten to the point where i would only look for solutions but you sir have finnaly freeed me of this task by showing me simply how to navigate and locate system files i never knew existed thank you i was able to locate a apple file from when i tried to install itunes on my windows 10 lets just say it was 47 gigs of trash my poor baby has been carrying this whole time
thank you! very clear, to the point, and even gave brief follow-up instructions in case the problem persisted after the first couple of steps! problem solved immediately, thanks for the quality content :)
Funny I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 in last year's June and in this year's June I had to reinstall Windows 10 again. In both times after installing Windows 10 this corrupted startup program issue occured by the same program which is MS Teams installer for me. I've fixed it in the last year with the help of this video and I had to revisit to this video to fix it again in this year xD
Awesome, logged in to my account just to like this video. I was really confused because I keep my installs pretty minimal so I was confused how a virus could have gotten on, figured it was a bad uninstall. Turns out it was Microsoft themselves with a bad Teams update tool, what a wonderful company.
thankssssssssss.... I had like over 400++ random thing on my startup.. had deleted the physical file in the folder but not in the startup. thank to you now my startup less than 7 item.
Nice approach! It hasn't helped me find the registry entry though. So, I just used Find... and entered ending part of the path from Task Manager's Command Line tab. Then it found the necessary register folder (which was also a Run folder) and I could remove the entry
Simply amazing. Quick, painless, no distracting music, just the explanation straight to the point, We need more of you.
Indeeed!!
exactly!!
bro this is legit an amazing guide. Straight to the point and actually works
