Thank you for your kind words~! I make sushi for many people who don't like seafood, but not for people who are allergic. The key thing is to keep it safe (you're doing that) and remember that what matters most is if you like it or not. Therefore if you have some vegetables you like or different meats, that's just fine :) Play around till you find the combinations you like and that's what I call success. Thanks for being a part of our channel, we're glad to have you here :D
Maromikun, thanks for your kind words :) We appreciate knowing that you enjoy our content, the knife give away was something special we wanted to do for our core group of viewers and were surprised by the number of responses we got. Either way we're committed to making tutorials for our friends here on UA-cam and are glad to have you as part of that. Thank you~! :D
I think for professional sushi chefs it's a given, but for anyone who makes sushi at home in Japan it's always eaten fresh. Jiro works with some of the finest sushi shops as well as the mid-grade ones all over Japan so he really knows his stuff. I really am thankful for all the stuff he shares with us :) Glad you liked it too~! :D
We learned a lot from the experience. We had a spammer who made a ton of different accounts to harass us and badmouth us. We learned the YT comments could be manipulated and sent out prizes to 3 different people b/c of that instead of just one as originally promised. Even with those challenges our viewers were able to ask questions of someone they'll probably never get to meet and we think most people enjoyed it. With that in mind we think it was a success and are quite pleased :D
Jiro was talking about this preparation or cure of the fish before serving it what did he mean, i have heard about some kind of curing but wasnt sure because i thought you just had it raw without any cureing :) ty
I love you and your husband's tutorials!^^ I'm going to be a college student next year with my friend as my roommate, and I plan on making much homemade sushi;) Btw, I was wondering if you knew any great recipes for people allergic to seafood? I have a friend unfortunate enough to be allergic to all seafood, but she loves the spam avocado rolls I've made her. Maybe some cooked rolls or veggie rolls?:) Or anything alternative either! You guys have been a big help either way^^
I think people cheated! Lol I don't watch your channel for prizes; I watch because your content is worthwhile. Thanks for taking time to do this though, I hope the lucky winners enjoy their knives. :)
That spammer guy was really irritating... I second the other commenter's recommendation of using a randomizer next time. You guys work hard and do a good job making these videos, and it was a nice gesture! :)

Glad to see he dispelled that rumor about sushi chefs making rice for 7 years...
