You carry too many poles at once my guy lol leave back ups in vehicle maybe carry two at a time if walking a decent distance from car but 4…😂 that’s madness!
Can someone explain why a lot of Americans have the handle on the right side while they also throw with the right hand? There this switch u make that kinda kills the best perk of a baitcaster.
1. They can hold heavier line 2. They can cast middle - heavy weighted lures further 3. They feel more comfortable than spinning reels with certain techniques 4. You can cast more accurately with less commotion on the water due to being able to control the speed of the lure with your thumb 5. You can cast & retrieve faster with baitcasters due to the push button, and being able to lock the spool with the handle. With a spinning rod it take more time because you have to open the bail, put your finger on the line, cast, and then close the bail.
I just started fishing my first time with a bait caster like a day ago, and my entire time fishing with other reels the bait caster just feels amazing and like so easy to use, faster and just more accurate, I’m able to throw it where I want and with light lures it goes pretty far. It’s definitely worth the buy
Because everyone wants to be a "bassmaster" and copies each other. I did not like them. There's some instances one might be useful, such as heavy cover, heavy lures. But I can be pretty dang accurate with my spinning reel and extend my index finger to slow or stop a bait where I want. For me any benefit of the baitcaster was heavily outweighed by cons. Want to switch lures, gotta fk around with it until it casts smooth. Missing fish due to a back lash, lures snapping off and going to the middle of the pond due to back lash. Also no fun clicking sounds when a fish is pulling drag. They're highly overrated, and terrible if you want to use a light bait, and most people use MH. It doesn't make for a very fun fight, or a very sensitive rod
I carry two to three rods on an outting. 1 rod is for bass that are on the bottom And the other for a moving bait like chatter jerk swim bait etc Generally to save time on switching setups
We need a video on your arsenal on your rods and reels
