Didn't know that KLM started flying this route. I've flown it many times before Covid on Singapore Airlines on my way to Penang Malaysia. Always nice to fly between two very well organized airports (with Changi being my favorite stopover airport hands down).
I had to listen carefully but I loved that at check-in, she had to explain to the member of staff that you're a UA-camr and they got her to write down your channel name! Here's hoping they find this specific video!

Looks like they did move to a fairly standard 1-2-1 Rockville collins seat which never disappoints. Not going to lie my mouth was watering at dinner, haven’t had a rice table since my last trip to Amsterdam and Indonesian food is hard to come by. Hope you enjoyed it. I've booked myself a trip from Chirstchurch to Joburg via Sydney on the Qantas 787 (very excited for that) and I'm just wondering, what's it like to fly long haul with the mask rules in effect? Given the flight will be around 13 hours I'm interested to know what it's like to have one on for so long.

You always get your reviews just right and I look forward to seeing your posts. I have never flown KLM and I suspect their intercontinental offering is quite different from the UK to the Netherlands is very different.

Oh dear, Dennis. "Those that don't like a window seat can sit in the centre of the aircraft". "Those that do......" (paraphrased) can sit in a seat like Dennis', which isn't a window seat, either. It's an isle seat the you can see a window from. We were transiting Amsterdam enroute to Cambodia and were approached by armed police and taken to a room where our Passports were taken from us. We were told that we had forged Cambodian Visas and detained while they called the world and his dog for clarification. When they eventually reached Cambodia, they were told that our Visas were valid. We were released without apology. In any event, we stopped using KLM after they abandoned us in Seoul. We were stranded in the airport overnight and continually fed a line of BS as to when the aircraft would arrive. I explained to the passengers that the 777 had gone "tech" in Manila and explained to the only person on-site at the now closed airport KLM's legal responsibilities under EU261 but in typical KLM style, we got nowhere and were forced to sleep on, un-fed and un-watered and un-hoteled on benches all night. I like an adventure but taking the piss is going a bit too far!
Before Covid KLM used to be my favorite Airline. But actually they are a shadow of themselves. Nothing has left from that cool dutch spirit. Terrible Catering and the crews must feel so much pressure that nothing left for hospitality.
Well you have been at the Amsterdam airport last month. Absolutely a disaster. Tens of thousands of people trying to checkin in at the KLM or Air France or Delta to checkin in baggage. All self kiosks not working so 8 agents checking in thousands of confirmed passengers. All of which after 4 hours in line to check in and then 1 and half hour line to go through security and then of course miss their flight. Lucky for those with brains, file a complaint with the EU 206 rule to get a refund of at least 660 euros for KLM rules for not informing passengers to arrive 5 hours before flight because of a busy day. They and Delta are sh……t
Your review was excellent but would have liked to hear a review by your Mum for 2 reasons, #1 as a female and #2 as senior traveller. As I'm now in my 60s I'm both visually and hearing impaired so I need to be careful.
Recently flew business class on KLM, GRU-LHR. Meant a layover in Amsterdam but as it was short didn’t get to use the lounge. My 777 had the old layout however the whole experience was excellent, highly recommended airline.

So their long haul fleet (the remaining A330's will be phased out in the next few years) will have economy, economy comfort, premium economy and business class. Oh, en mooi dat de reisvideos terug komen, hoewel de andere video's (binnen Australië) ook erg interessant waren!!

Apparently the Polderbaan runway at AMS Airport is the real journey. I think taxiing to/from that runway can take at least 20 minutes
