    That one with the little table behind the couch, I did that last Christmas and we LOVE IT. Really just need the wood, nails and a hammer.

    Almost all of these are renter friendly, not really permanent structures. I really liked the curtain rod. Creative!

      Sea Lemon you can always Rent the tools for a few hours from places like home depot or maybe look into a "tool lending library" depending on where you live

      ACK! ACK! If you’re a home owner basic tools are a necessity. You can get a 5 piece tool set around the holidays for less than $200. That may sound like a lot of money for some people but wait till you have to call a handyman to come fix something simple, it’ll add up fast.

      sort of? i'm looking at an old picture frame, planning its fate. back in the junk pile it goes for another 6 months, that's its fate, after i'm done looking at it. hey, i'm getting inspiration, does that count? also i'm staying focused, i'm so proud of myself. this video makes me want to do everything right now, but I can't, I am staying on top of my current project of weaving stuff with honeysuckle vine (also, I can see where you would want to say no to a bunch of these ideas, but at least they give you ideas for your next idea)

  • @dragonsnack1335
    @dragonsnack1335 6 років тому +1

    Most of these are quite nice and for the most part affordable. The curtain rod is probably the most expensive. A lot of the tools used can be substituted for others and still have the same effect. Good job

    Are you going to stain that coat hanger?
    You don't really need pots for drainage in the planter, it's already got drainage holes.
    You should have put weights on the plywood you're gluing to the table.

    • @trikkinikki13
      @trikkinikki13 6 років тому

      I use old broken pts for my pot plants. It's good for drainage and hold back moisture for the plants when the weather gets hot.

    French Cleats are completely useless for heavy items. Was the goal to minimize number of holes in the wall? You just drilled 4 for the french cleat. Just directly attach the fixture to the wall; it will be more secure and just as painful/less to move as a french cleat would be.

    Borrow them from a friend or neighbor. Buy them for cheap at a flea market or something. Look on apps like OfferUp and LetGo, there's always plenty of cheap shit there

    Now I know why the video says Homeowners. That Blackout Curtain was not renter friendly no matter how much No Sew it is

    • @hannahcatesilver2154
      @hannahcatesilver2154 6 років тому

      Toby Cubbin why? I’m almost certain u can change blinds as long as u keep the old ones for when u move again

    • @Ryuts0
      @Ryuts0 6 років тому

      The blackout curtain, in fact most of these, required you to drill into your wall which is normally against a rental agreement.

    • @Suzcroc23
      @Suzcroc23 5 років тому

      Kai K Yeah the folding table they used are Not inexpensive, and the legs don’t look nice enough for a permanent table no matter how much you paint them!
