    Did the lamp one. Got a lamp for $8 at Goodwill and the shade for $4 at Wal-mart. Lastly found solar light from Dollar Tree. Everyone has given compliments.

    I made my Mom the tea cup bird feeder a couple of years ago, but used very pretty ribbon, then packaged it up with a small bag of bird seed I found at the dollar store. It made such a lovely, complete gift.

    That was BEAUTIFUL. I also had cancer Multiple Myeloma. My sister who was a Cosmotologist cut my hair short before my Stem Cell Transplant. It started falling out. She eventually shaved my head. I LOVED BEING BALD!!! WZORE SCARFS STYLES LIKE Roaring 20's. Eventually my hair started growing back. It was SO ADORABLE. I say this because I loved how God let it come back in. It is long now. My sister who cut/shaved my head ended up with cancer as well. She passed away a year ago in Dev, not from the cancer, the Dr. got 98% of that. She passed away from a blood clot in her lung. It was devastating to all of us. I miss her. We were VERY close. Thank You for sharing your video and story. Glad you survived the cancer and congratulations on your baby boy.

    you might want to put a sealant on that doormat. Acrylic paint is water based and will dissolve and run all over the place if it gets wet.

    • @Jimpainter222
      @Jimpainter222 5 років тому +3

      If that was true decks, houses, etc. would all have the paint washing off lol@DLG CSD

    • @Widdekuu91
      @Widdekuu91 4 роки тому

      Not to mention, it hardens, so if you do this, you'll create a hard, scaley doormat with eventually, bits of paint on your shoes everywhere.

    for those pallet lovers out there, "MB" stands for methylbromide, but mostly what I have found is "HT" which stands for heat treated. all pallets have a burned in or painted stamp that tells you how the wood was treated for pest and microbe control. methlybromide is nasty stuff, better left for the dump

    ONE OF THE BETTER DIY PROJECTS....LOVE THE CONCRETE BOWL...MANY USES. THNX

    • @michellepoundstone463
      @michellepoundstone463 5 років тому

      Terrie Johnston it is not a concrete bowl but a cement bowl. PLEASE google the difference as concrete is 4 products of which this contains 2. Most don’t understand and had someone order concrete as he was making over 100 “dishes”. He was pissed when they didn’t turn out. The product in this video is cement not concrete. Concrete has rock and sand involved making it not as smooth as cement and water.

    Don't glue your fabric to the foam or board on that pallet bench. This way you can remove the old fabric for a new one if you ever wanted to recover. You can always cover the original but then after a while, it will become bulky.

    To be honest, we ALL used to love Nifty. Now the workers can slack off by just editing videos together and name it something, or something like that. I just want a new video. I know it’s hard to think of something for a video and then actually do it, but it’s better than just taking old boring videos to make “new” videos.

      Anita -- if you make the pillow, do NOT sew it. Use glue, otherwise every hole you make with the needle will mean water gets inside to the stuffing and it will mold.

    Don't confuse cement with concrete, they aren't the same thing. Concrete has aggregate (usually sand, gravel or small stones) in it and contains concrete. Concrete is usually a fine powder made of limestone and a drying agent.

    What does the mb on the pallet stand for??

    • @bearstylinson4883
      @bearstylinson4883 7 років тому +16

      Le CherrySoda It's for methyl bromide, an odorless, tasteless gas, that is technically banned in the U.S. If a pallet is marked with MB it means it was treated with methyl bromide and inhalation can cause vomiting, hallucinations, etc.
