FIREPOWER by Sillow (Extreme Demon)

The third insane demon turned extreme I've made. Tis pretty spicy looking and is kinda meant to be nine circles in a world where nine circles did not exist whilst taking from bits and pieces here and there. Really tried on this one to make each part as memorable as possible in regard to structuring and gameplay flow.
Regarding difficulty, originally before verifying I thought this was somewhere between Azurite and Bloodbath, but I now think it is somewhere between Bloodbath and SECTOR 19. Also, this is the first verification that I did not fluke (died at 95, 96 x2 and 97).

The monsters and robots bring so much life and character to this level and I absolutely love it. Fantastic job!
This level would also give you a second extreme that shares its name with another rated extreme which is a really neat fun fact

This. THIS is how you make a good level. And a memorable one at that too. All of the little characters spread throughout the level, the simple design, the amazing theming, a very good unused song, and so far the gameplay is really good (i've played only the second half). This feels like you created the exact level you imagined in your head. I think I found my new favorite demon in the game. Good job man.
The only bad thing about this is probably the object count, but I'm hitting 288 constantly so not a problem for me.
Forgot to say that I absolutely ADORE the dual, probably the best gameplay I've seen for years.

Any idea as to why to normal gravity ship at 67% isnt sometimes the normal ship and instead is the dual version of the ship? When this happens the swing copter after becomes impossible so thats wack

Seems to be another way to do the first part of the dual, just follow the which one goes each route in the video and it should always work regardless of hz

there is a 68% bug on 60 fps with the transition on the swingcopter

Not an fps bug if you are referring to the one I know of, it is a bug that occurs if you have the wrong ship take the top path (the yellow orbs in the dual won't flip gravity as well). P1 should be at the top. You are either using a start position in a weird spot or somehow switched gravity an extra time I think. Could be wrong.

Don't get me wrong this looks great, but it feels super SUPER over-hyped. It just feels like Sinister Silence in a way, where it feels like 1.9 but just lacking in general design, especially in the block designs. While the monsters are pretty dope, I don't think they add that much to the level. Firepower is pretty cool and the song is awesome, but the decoration just feels really over-hyped for what it is. I would go as far as to say Forbidden Isle pulls off its theme and ideas better. I love your levels Sillow but I had to call this one out 😭
