If Resident Evil 8 is anything like Resident Evil 7 I really don't think it should wait. Resident Evil 2 remake is awesome but when you think about RE7 and RE2 remake were released just 2 years apart. They might do it a similar way and release RE8 and RE3 remake within just a year or two apart. I just hope they do a good job for both of em.
RE2 Remake made more money than RE7 did so RE8 can wait. Capcom would be a fool not to see that.

Looking4luv I was 8 years old in 1999 when Resident Evil 3 Nemesis came out I miss my good life in the 90's if only start over but getting remake of it is good.

I think it's basically a no brainer for Capcom to remake RE3. They already have the engine, they already have a large percentage of the assets they will need to build the world, and the fans are screaming for it. Basically guaranteed sales and minimal development effort and time.

Except that we have a lot of people who want a Nemesis who can run towards you. How do they work around that? Their characters would need to be able to handle when he runs into us to shoulder slam.
Yeah, but i think they need to add more stuff to the game. Giant Spiders(i miss them on RE2), new characters to explain the lore around the city(just like they did with re2 remake) and change some mechanics, because Nemesis can run and Jill will need evasion skills just like the original(never learned how to do it though, i just pressed any button and voilá lol).
@@lynxgameplay4608 The way to evade was to move up or down at the right time to dodge. While you're running, only move down at right time can work. Basically to dodge forward you'd need to stay still and wait for the attack.

@@nandorpapp2350 its very easy to avoid mr x using his punch animation, after the sequence where he shows up, i was only thrilled by him for like 15 to 20 minutes, after that he was just a part of the gameplay, not a treat, just a thing of the game, easy to avoid him as he was, nêmesis is more frightening, cause he is birkin and mr x gameplays fused on one character, he can be knocked out, BUT, he is very resistent, and can kill much, MUCH more easier than mr x could, he is a walking arsenal after all

I love RE2 but my nostalgia was in RE3 my first ever RE game was 3 when I was so little.
RE2 was the best for me. I disliked RE3 because of how much skill fighting Nemesis with tank controls takes. So I always ran and couldn't really explore the areas freely as I wished.

Agreed, I'll take 3 remake. If 8 is another 7 with no main connection to the overall plot then I am not that interested. It was an interesting experiment but I think first person should stay away from Resi from now on. Just my opinion though.
Didnt it connect, it was a soft reboot after all, it connects, all be it slightly to the overall story, while bringing a new, more modern story to the franchise

@@ghillie7897 DC uses the same gameplay mechanics as the original RE, the only difference is DC's dinos especially raptors will popout of nowhere more than zombies, and also bigger ones.
RE3 Nemesis is one my fav. Nemesis is def the most formidable. Unlike Mr X. Nemesis can run incredibly fast. Has a Rocket Launcher, long range tentacle move and also the close range 1 shot kill fatality.

i want both resident evil 3 remake and resident evil 8. it doesn't matter in what order they release them.
personally i also want to see Code Veronica as well as RE3, It was an amazing game, People like to hate on it for literally no reason. Mainly the people hating on CV are ones whom played it when it was ported, yes ported from the Dreamcast to the PS2, not understanding it was being ported from an older system and were expecting better graphics. Code Veronica was one of my absolute favorites in the series, I hope it gets a remake as well.
CV on the PS2 was the first RE game I played but I didn't really enjoy it that much because of the atrocious fixed camera system, I didn't get into RE games until RE4 when they changed the camera system to the 3rd person over the shoulder perspective, so if CV does get a remake in the future I hope it's like RE2 remake with the over the shoulder 3rd person camera.
Not to mention that code v was more of a sequel to re2 then 3 so it would make sense for them to do it first

Fuck yeah dude! Code Veronica was always my 3rd fav game (My fav is RE 1 and RE2 is my second). Code Veronica was more of a sequel to me than RE3 was. I love RE3 but it was far too redundant after RE2 came out, taking place in Raccoon City again at the same time as the event of RE2. CV remake would work great coming off the heels of the RE2 remake since Claire is the main protagonist as well, my favorite RE protag.

Yes. Code Veronica in my opinion felt more of a sequel. RE3 environment and story had a familiarity flat tone. The only thing that stood out in RE3 again in my opinion was nemesis and the mercenaries mode. With all the hype for a RE3make guess I missed something that others saw. Not the worst RE game in the entire series so I would support it regardless.
If they remade Code Veronica, I would NEVER ask for anything again lol
My fear would be how the knife was OP and so reliable in C:VX and how they won't be able to mimic it...
Code Veronica is treated like a spin off, but we all know that it's the direct sequel to RE2, as it show Claire searching for Chris in Europe, and now RE2R just make this even more clear, so they must include CV in the remake list.

Well he never had a Gatling gun, he had a rocket launcher. that was a movie thing. But operation raccoon city gave him a Gatling gun, so they might use that idea. But I can see nemesis being ridiculous on the difficulty side.

Dino Crisis was a great game as static camera game, it won't translate as good as 3rd person modern game, dinos would need to be either insanely difficult for sake of realism or just like in original which would make them awkward and clunky. Altough i would love to see re3 remake and after that creating entirely new story in place of 4, 5(never liked the parasite enemies, but still respect for those games) and that abomination 6.

If they remake RE3 then they allready have the police station part so it takes less time to make, I think you can see the damage done by Nemesis in the RE2 Remake as well since Jill visited the police station a few hours before Claire and Leon. Curious on how long they can prolong the game since RE3 as RE2 were pretty short, and there are no scenarios in RE3, unless they will make a scenario with Carlos as the male 2nd protagonist, which would be cool and flesh out the story and gameplay.

The opening cinematic could be turned into gameplay. RE3 starts with you on the street, but what if they started out earlier in the day where Jill sees her first zombie in the city...you race back to Jill's apartment to grab your gun...then a cinematic video opens with her driving through the city to get to RPD, only to be blocked by U.B.C.S. as they set up blockades. As zombies attack, Jill assists in the fight and a grenade lands under Jill's car, setting her to continue on foot, encountering a few more UBCS v Zombie fights...then BOOM, Jill is tossed into an alley, on the other side of a car...effectively beginning the original RE3.
It could also include a cinematic in her apartment where she tries to call Chris at his location in Europe to let him know the situation has hit the city.
