Looking forward to my PS5 copy arriving this Friday. Played it on PS3 and I am excited for a replay. And yup, I'm going for the game breaking with the grade shop to give me a solid story focused playthrough. I have so many great physical games to play, but not as much time as I'd like. Glad I can make some adjustments to make it easier to fit in more great games into my busy schedule.
Another great game coming our way! I own the PS3 version myself, but decided to get the Xbox- and PS4-versions. Will get the Switch version eventually. Also, I am hoping the next remaster for the franchise will be Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. It's one of my personal favorites.
I recently finished the original version on PlayStation 3 for the first time and I certainly enjoyed my time with it. The colorful art style holds up really well and the gameplay was fun even though I prefer my JRPG’s to be turn-based.
I ordered the PS4 import myself. I would love to see Tales of Destiny Director's Cut (PS2) finally get a Wetern release. As Destiny is still my Favorite overall. Though I do put Xillia and Berseria up there with it as my top 3. If they do Xillia they need to do both 1 & 2.
How did Bandai Namco Games manage to screw up the Switch version by having it run in 30fps? Don't they have Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition on Switch running at 60fps?
One of the best Jrpgs of the last few years is Scarlet Nexus, too bad it got overlooked. The story was quite crazy, with a awesome art style and great combat mechanics. Starlet Nexus and Nier automata are what made me like playing jrpgs.
I got shipping notification on my PS5 version earlier today. Hopefully should have it on release day, and I'm looking forward to getting back into it as I never finished the PS3 version I started up early last year. Hopefully will have finished up with the current game I'm playing (Panic in Sweets Land on the Switch) by the weekend so I can dive into this. BTW, Jordan, I see that a physical was confirmed for the upcoming Lunar Collection, but here in North America I've heard it's exclusively being carried by Amazon. Europe is supposed to have their own exclusive distributor as well, but I can't remember who at the moment.
Wanted the switch version but the Battles are 30fps. They were 60fps on PlayStation 3, a console that was weaker than the switch. Unfortunately i don't think it's a reasonable compromise. I will be buying this elsewhere
I was hoping Namco would release Tales of Destiny Remake and Tales of Destiny 2 on the PSP way back when but we didn't get them. I'm really hoping these games come sooner than later. I like the PS1 version of Tales of Destiny a lot, but the combat is rough. Tales of Eternia is my favorite game in the series though so I really just want the improved combat iwth the Destiny cast in English. Tales of Graces F though is my second favorite in the series. The combat is amazing and while it was actually improved on in Tales of Xillia, Xillia ran with that whole modern thing developers were doing with their games and the Tales games turned into this open environment material gathering game. Berseria took the idea of making every single "B arte" as it's called in Graces F and allow you to customize each of these into four different combos, I feel like they completely ruined the gameplay on that one because of it, everything is a unique finisher here but you build a combo to lead up to it, and what you're essentially doing is you're really building four combos that you're going to press one of the face buttons four times, because why are you really going swap between face buttons? I liked the A artes and B artes thing of Graces F which carried over to Xillia(no longer called your A Artes but these are your standard combo strings that you could change up) and your Artes could be used anywhere in those combo strings. Berseria just really limited it at all and made it less enjoyable.
@@MaI2Methey didn't even try. The battle system was 60fps on PlayStation 3 while it's 30fps on Switch. They downgraded the performance that was already on PlayStation 3
@@GASTBF I don’t know, but somehow that’s exactly what I was expecting 🤷♂️ These companies are so lazy these days… I mean, the Switch isn’t that weak and should be able to handle this I suppose? Now I’m curious what they did with the PS4 version 🤔
@@MaI2Me the PS4 version is 60fps. They really just didn't care about the switch version. Versperia had 60fps battles on switch I don't see why suddenly graces can't have that. It's a PS3 game

Thanks for the video! I'll be picking it up. I'm a big Tales fan. I'm hoping for remakes/remasters on Rebirth, Phantasia, Destiny, and Abyss
Bandai Namco has already established a "Remastered Project" dev team, so I believe it's just a matter of time to see the entire franchise re-released.
Loved this back in the PS3, tempted to get this one, but not 100% sure.
One of my first and few platinum trophies.

This game is my favorite from this while series. But I thought it was releasing next week. I am definitely picking it up soon.

Own it on backlog, should try it.

Thanks! Just bought it thru your link, and don't worry I'm getting enough of my Miku on Fortnite 😜

its there any new content aside the one that comes already on the ps3 port?...
If you can take your PS3 progress to this version, I would want it. Cause I never completed it.
This looks great for the Switch.
Let’s see how much effort they have put into the port.
30 fps 😂

The combat looks hard D:
I got to the very end of this game on PS3 probably 90% through but never finished it.
I cannot believe people enjoy this game
What don't you like about it?

Did you say Hatsune Miku branded xanax 😂
Yup. I hate that ugly 3D. This is nice looking.
Lost my virginity playing this
