The Big Bang is a space-time expansion from an early hot dense Universe.
It is says nothing about what happened at t=0 but describes an expansion event at t>0.
This appears to be a trivial distinction but it's a profound one. Similar to Darwin's theory of evolution, which provides a mechanism and biological pathway for life to adapt and evolve over time but says absolutely nothing about how life was created or what happened before life was present on earth.
So the question "was the Big Bang the beginning?" is an oxymoron or non-sensical question. You can ask how the Universe was created or what happened before the Universe started expanding - ie at t=0
That is a question Science can't even start to answer at the moment - a task for Philosophers and Religious leaders to tackle.

If you are a bad person and you go to hell, why would the Devil punish you since you lived your life by his standards, meaning the Devil should also be good to you. Which kinda makes sense, but also God must be more powerful than the Devil so if God decides you need to suffer you will either way but definitely an interesting point of view I haven’t thought of before.

The “big bang” is very real, it was “and God said let their be light” and from His Word came forth everything
Note also, everything created was created with age.. If an expert would’ve came up to Adam 10 mins after God created him, he would’ve said without a doubt that he was 30 years old.. He had hair, teeth, facial hair, finger nails, tall, went through puberty etc.. You would say “no, he’s only 10 mins old” the experts would laugh at you and say that’s impossible, to “look at all the signs that prove you wrong”.. Same goes with everything else
