Trouble with using the middle to knock them out is that playing normally they attack before you get near that middle.
Damn, a couple weeks ago I watched a video and the person only showed putting decayed Eldarium into the alter. Now I know why I was only getting crap thralls. Thank you so much for this video!!
In a solo game, do the thralls you knock out, stick around for a while. Like enough to drag one back to a reasonably close wheel and then get more? Also, how long do you have for all the waves.

90% are sh_t thralls you get from the small storms. What a grind.
The grind is was makes it not worth it. They assume you have all day to play a game.

Just once i would like to see somebody do this not in god mode. Do they Thralls attack you on sight? How you supposed to use the machine if they are all wacking on you?

Yes they attack but you can just run up and hit the switch
@@우주돌고래 No the skull NPCs are unaffected. And they are most of what you get if you pump tons of chaos into the shrine.

I know this is an old video, but I just started playing Siptah, and I've watched a few videos on how these surges work and every video I've seen, the NPC's that spawn stand idle... When I play though, they don't stand idle, they attack as soon as we approach... so how are you meant to use the Surge Harvester to knock them out? Just kinda run in and hope for the best? I know we could do it with a truncheon but it's chaos as its a big fight and really hard to isolate and knock anyone out.

Do you know where you actually can get that greater essence? All the creatures I have killed during the Maelstrom have not dropped any at all
The ??? isn't loot, you have to smack with a pick. One per creature.
@@hadoken95 I know that, and there are 3 tiers of it, but nothing I have seen gives the greater essence

Is there a more accurate range of how much essence you need to trigger named thrall summons? seems like 1000 is like the max so I would imagine a lower number to be able to still trigger it. 1000 is a lot to gather on official servers haha.

I can add a bit of perspective for you. Unless you use a 1000 the chances of you getting a t-4 thrall is slim. I tested using 200 400 and 600 two times and in all of that, I had one t-3 cook spawn. There were t-3 fighters, dancers, bearers, and archers. That is a huge risk and a very good chances of wasting an enormous amount time to get a t-4. The random generator is not in your favor unless you use 1000. Hope that helps.
@@Jacksroost I've done it twice now with 1000 and I still haven't seen a single T4 crafter. Lots of T1 and 2, about 3-4 T3, a few named bearers, dancers, fighters, and archers, and tons and tons of the unthuggable fighters and archers with the skull health bars.
So what about all the braziers that are around the platforms? You can put Eldarium in them to fuel them, but what is the effect???
Do T4 crafters even spawn at regular spawn spots? Or is leyshrine still the only way

the Shrines become active, when the Red Storm in the middle disappears, and the Octopus, comes thru the greenish portal
@@606thumper Its a bug, if you are in clan the Shrine is LOCKED, you need to leave clan start surge and get invited back.

@@cwsgamers9101 We play on PVE and we are 6 player clan, everytime we go surge i give items to surge to someone (iam leader) kick them, they start it and i invite them back. Thats the only work around we found so far.
On a pve server , can they be stolen while u run around? Also how long they gonna stay up , if i have to make few trips back to the base?
They can be stolen since the inventory is public

How are you getting their armor? Is that a setting or do these summoned thrall surges giving that now?
the more fuel (lesser/unstable/greater ????) you give the shrine the better the reward

Can you put eldarium in the Surge Harvester before you open the portal, so you're not trying to do it while thrawls are trying to kill you?

Might want to check your mic. Very often you suddenly get way too quiet then back to normal. Makes it difficult to hear.
Are all the summoned npcs aggressive upon arrival? Do they immediately attack when you get near them, in other words? That could be a real adventure for solo players. I know that I got near a surge location yesterday and the whole group attacked (thus, being low level, I ran away!).
they are angry but you need to get closer to there plate to get them mad at you. so one plate at a time gets mad at you not all 3 unless you run around them all close.
Where are the Elder things that drop the greater ?????
If I put a lot of eldarium in the zapzap-thing, will it knock inconscious everyone ?

my clan and i just spent an entire maelstrom killing everything that moved and got nothing but lesser and regular....no greater....we are believing this to be absent from main gameplay at the moment.

Shift+Delete: This removes an NPC entity or player placed object
Ctrl+Shift+Delete: It is similar to Shift+Delete above but has a larger area of effect

This process seems needlessly complicated for no reason at all.
Too much grinding materials to do something with little real benefit.

The thrall system in Siptah is just ridiculous. Not fun at all. They all bunch together and come after you. It’s really hard to peel them off. Siptah is filled with really odd decision. Played a lot today and got really bored, really quick. Like a MOBA map for PVP. Wouldn’t develop a character here. Back to the Exile lands.
I got similiar feelings, however I would like to give it a try a little more, however PvP seems to be only for big clans here. As it is even more difficult for solo playing.
I've been playing since my server launched, reached 60 day 2, doing some dungeons for eldarium and I have plenty of thralls from the wild surges. Granted the crafter thralls are all T1, but did snag a few melee and archer thralls that were T3. Now wild surges are easy, but pointless, so I'm just gathering to do a portal summon. Yes, it's different how you acquire thralls, but the good news is, modders and content creators can now make their own maps, just like they did in ARK, so we'll probably see all kinds of new things in the future.
That sounds the same as exiles i don't know how many times in sepermaru i would find a thrall i want to get by itsself a good distance from other thralls go up hit it next thing i know there are like 20 thralls coming at me
FunCom are incredibly good at fucking up their own game, you got to give them credit for that. industry leaders.
Bah! Knowing players there will be that rich man role player who would get more thrall than anyone and give away to new players. haha! But now it seem even more POKETHRALLS.
