Those are the trails in my back yard and Diamondback is my weapon of choice!…. It was a pleasure to watch this video! Just wish i could've joined you boys!!
Awesome video, excellent scenery, interesting riding and professionally produced! Once again...Awesome! What time of year is best for riding the trail?
Can you provide details on your gear setup? I would love to do this with my 6" bike. How heavy was your back pack? I have a 50liter pack and feel like it may be too big.
+Derek Murrow You'll be fine on a 6" bike, and can actually monster truck over stuff that you would have to walk on a short travel light bike. We even ran 2.4" tires with sturdy sidewalls. I'd say we had about 30 pounds of gear each, and the key is getting a lot of it on your bike. We used Revelate Designs backpacking bags on the bike, and 24L Camelbak backpacks.
Are there any dangerous wildlife, you know like BEARS, or any kind of wild cat that will chase you down and eat you? Do you have to ride for your life at times? I know these sound silly, but you are in the back country.
Thank you for sharing this epic adventure.

Where does one park their vehicle in a safe place at the trail head?
Photographer: Ben Gavelda
Filmer: Mason Mashon
How did they follow the riders?
+Caio Fern They rode the entire trip with us, filming along the way! Definitely hard work!
