When a car salesman is selling you on payment and not the price of the car you are getting screwed. Get a price then go to a bank for the loan, car dealers make so much money in financing. Never take the first rate either, they mark up the approval rate a lot. Just deal with a bank so you don't have to barter on interest rate. They love selling you on payment because they will just adjust the rate down just enough to make it work and pocket the difference they just made on your rate.
