Captain Jack's Restaurant is a table service restaurant in Adventureland in Disneyland Park. One of the most amazing things about this restaurant is it is INSIDE the Pirates Of The Caribbean ride! As you dine you can see the boats sail past as people begin their voyage on the ride!
The three-course set menu has a vegan option for each course. The starter is a Quinoa Salad with Spicy Cashew Vinaigrette, the main course is a Vegetable Curry with Plantain and the dessert is a Fruit Soup!
The only dish that needs modifying is the main, which usually comes with rice. The rice is cooked in butter so instead they swap to green beans to make this dish vegan.
Big shout out to my amazing server Clara who was so knowledgeable about the vegan options and made my time at Captain Jack's so enjoyable!
I really enjoyed my meal here. The setting is so beautiful and it is great being inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride! This is one of the top reasons to visit this restaurant. My food was also great. I loved how there were so many vegetables and the dishes were flavourful. The fruit soup was so nice and refreshing after a big meal!

It is so exciting you will be visiting soon! It is such a cool atmosphere inside! The curry tastes great! I would like it to be a bit spicy but the flavours are lovely!

Finally managed to get in to Captin Jacks. You can book 2 months in advance now not 2 weeks when we went last time!
Didn't think of the rice being cooking in anything. I was more whether there was cream in the curry.

Its going to be hard work for us. 2 meat eaters, veggie and a vegan.
It is a bit hit and miss when they let you book which can be a bit of a nightmare. I am here at the moment and some restaurants didn't become available until a few days before the trip! I am super glad you got a reservation! It is a really unique and cool restaurant! Luckily more and more restaurants are offering vegan options. Some of the best that I enjoyed were Silver Spur Steakhouse, Manhattan and Captain Jack's. Fuente del Oro and Last Chance Cafe are great quick service options. There are also a few new options that I am hoping to try whilst I am here! Hopefully with more available it will make it easier to find somewhere that everyone enjoys!

Did you have to make reservations?
I would highly recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is super popular and can become fully booked. You can book dining reservations 60 days in advance of your trip via the Disneyland Paris app which i found super helpful and saved me the cost of phoning the dining reservation line! If you wanted to try and get a walk up reservation on the day it may be possible if the restaurant is not sold out. I would do this as soon as the restaurant opens and you will be given a time to return in the day.
