    I just made pillows the other day using rope cording and it's a nightmare to work with when joining the two ends together. This video is so helpful. I am definitely going to try your method. Thank you Natalie! You are very talented. I love your top :)

    Oh my goodness! So glad to know piping can be done this way! Always love piping detail on pillows but when I don’t have enough for bias I leave it off. Thank you for proving it can be done!

    Great Tutorial! I love all the shortcuts and really dislike cutting bias pieces. I always try to avoid that. I am glad you showed how to do the piping. I have had issues with that. I see that in this older video your hair was parted on the opposite side. I knew you made a change. I really like the new look! All of your progects are so great and I love the variety. Blessings to you.

    This is what I learned after years of sewing. Buy pre-made piping. I mean trim that has an edge that you can sew into the pillow. It has saved me a lot of time and money. Hobby Lobby and I am sure others have this on sale al, the time.

    • @designedtothenines
      @designedtothenines  4 роки тому

      I use both… I like them both equally. But I can see how somebody would like a premade piping. It can be pretty handy! Thanks for watching!😃

    I sew soft furnishings and enjoyed watching you break some rules! I usually cut the fabric on the bias and make the join less noticeable but you did a great job. And for the price! You won’t believe what people spend on custom pillows. Great video, Fabric has gotten so expensive!,, I love your channel,

    Hello again, I have bought throw pillows from thrift stores and Goodwill and such and then I bring them home put them inside a bed pillow case throw them in the washer just a little bit of soap tiny bit and a little drop of bleach to sanitize them and yes it takes a little bit longer to dry in the dryer but they come out smelling fresh as a daisy . that way I feel safe to use them...
