    In Computer Science (computability theory to be more precise) these kind of 'conversions' (transforming a problem to another problem for which you already know a good solution) are called reductions and are used widely to make formal proofs and assert certain properties of a problem.

    Both E & Z perm can be set up to H perm, however doing so would require effectively doing the E/Z perm itself. It’s slightly better because you don’t have to worry about the first two layers but still pretty annoying. This video really impressed me, when I saw it I immediately thought the only possible PLL’s are 2e2c’s. I’m definitely going to play around with this concept some more

    Since the cube forms a group under the operation of face turns and is algebraically closed by definition you should be able to “add” to any position that if you take the inverse, it ends up being the identity of the group + the “added moves”, the taking the inverse of those added moves should get you to the identity, which is the solved cube

    For E-Perm:
    You can’t do it with perfect set-up (as in do x , do Jb-Perm, do x’, but you can do if you add a “U” move into the mix and add a “U2” at the end. It breaks the rules a little, but it is all you can really do.
    Here is how:
    [Y] (S M’ U’ M U2 S’ R U R’) (U Jb-Perm U2) (R U’ R’ {U} S U2 M’ U M S’) {U2}
    For Z-Perm:
    Same type of deal as the E-Perm, but only 1 added “U’”move
    Here is how:
    (S M’ U’ M U2 S’ R F2 R U’ F2 U R’ F2 R’) (Jb-Perm U) (R F2 R U’ F2 U R’ F2 R’ {U’} S U2 M’ U M S’)
    I know that they don’t completely follow the rules, but it is still cool and it is as close as you can get.
    If anyone has any improvements reply and I will edit this post and give you credit. (:

      I noticed you used other setups combined! I came to the same conclusion so I'm pretty sure you're correct as well. But I can't think of a systematic way to improve the "setup" here, as it's just combining 2 setups so we're just hoping they're good.

    I actually realized just from thinking and experimenting that....it's also possible to use the Old Pochmann blindfold method using nothing but Jb perms, or even Tperms, as well as others including the modified Yperm which all 3 are commonly used in the Old Pochmann method. I noticed that, although it's not for speed cubing, I realized that even though Jperm and Tperm are taught for edges, meanwhile the Yperm is used on the corners, that any of these 3 algs can be also used interchangeably. For example, Tperm or Jperm can be used for both edges and even the corners too, as long as the buffer and target concepts are used. I noticed also that many people think the buffer and the target are written in stone, however, using Speffz lettering scheme for example, B doesn't have to be the buffer. You can even switch whenever you want B and D being the target or buffer at will, as long as you don't mess up the correct pieces on each side when doing setup and unsetup moves. I like to use Tperm and Jperm for not only the edges but also for the corners using usually B as the buffer for corners, and C as the target. This way, for people who aren't interested in speed, we can solve blindfolded now with just one algorithm! All Tperms or even all Jperms. As for parity, just do a DCD and that eliminates the need for Ra perm

    I spent the all three last days thinking how I can solve all the edges using only U-perm
    I thought that I would creat a new method for blindfolded solve..
    Then my mind exploded.
