The Dream (Fiddler on the Roof)

SST's 2006 production of "Fiddler on the Roof" starring Bob Frame as Tevye and featuring Mary Jo Clary as Golde, Pam Spear as Fruma Sara, Susan Wolstenholme as Grandma Tzeitel and Brien Bianchi as the Rabbi.

In our production, we have Fruma Sarah on a wooden box that wheels around, we have the bed on wheels, and I'm up in a loft of Tevye's Barn that ALSO wheels around :) It's so much fun ! Since i'm 12 and it's an adult production, i'm in the chorus, but with 8 of us up in a barn, it's pretty fun while everyone else is below =P

Our cast was also dancing like crazy with gravestones. we have Fruma Sara on this large rolling platoform thing that looks really cool because it gives the effect of her floating around Teyve

We're doing this production at our church and the woman playing Fruma Sarah is going to be great! We're thinking of using a smoke machine.

Our Fruma-Sarah did her own makeup... holy crap. She looked SCARY. Babies cried, adults gasped, little kids SWORE. It was the makeup job of the lot.

I did a community theatre production of this & our fumar-sarah was on a set of wheeled stairs... her costume got stuck under the wheels on the last nite so i had 2 stop short of the mark wheeling her out!

in my schools version we built a 25 foot tree and she climbed up it and had a like look out on top? and it was sick. when i get the recording i will post it.
