Thanks! This is a fantastic "reveal" how a designer sets up a complex modern site and makes the most of Kadence and well-known tools. Loved to see how you set up custom post types and then custom blocks. Very instructive - thanks for sharing! (and impressive, professional setup, too!)

Thanks a lot, I'm so glad you find value in this. I always thought that people are not into these "behind the scenes" videos, but it seems other way around :D

I'm so glad it was helpful content to you. Check out my latest video, starting a new series where I will go through the redesign of a new website for a client, actually a sister website to this one, so stay tuned for the solutions I will put into it and share with my channel :D

Great video! Do you charge your clients for paid plugins?

Not anymore. Once I started using Gutenberg I don't want to switch back to those page builders. What I never liked is when you create templates you usually build everything from scratch. I don't want that, Gutenberg and Kadence for example, they let me tweak existing layouts to may liking. Never understood why those page builders make you build stuff from scratch. Divi creates templates but nothing is in the theme builder lol. You have to create header, footer etc. Lame.

@@mistergeko but then there is no design aspect left to it. How do you make your own design for blog posts, or posts page specific? Dynamic fields are there in stackable but not fully developed. There are no custom loops. Header and footer I get ya. That had more design control, with gutenberg it's limited.

@@1anchit I can use Kadence Hooked Elements and soon they will expand that into a full theme builder capability, in other words templating feature. Kadence already release a beta of their dynamic content, which is in fact not a beta, I can hardly find any bugs, probably soon it will go out of beta too.
I agree with you, things are a bit limited, but in a few months from now I think it will cover all needed things. I keep my Divi LTD just in case I need it for some project, but I tend to avoid such projects now until Gutenberg and Kadence come to the level.
Now that Divi sped up their builder, if I ever need something that cannot be done with Gutenberg and Kadence, I'll probably resort to Divi. Keeping an eye on Bricks builder too.

@@mistergeko Ya having 1 solid builder is good to have. I have zion which is a new age one. But I think I should have a backup. So came across brizy and divi which have LTD. Confused here because brizy is easy but some people said it's slower than divi. But it has really good dynamic field and design functionality. Maybe not enough plugins but lot of designs. Divi on other hand doesn't have custom loops yet so we are stuck with design grids given by divi. Element of uses another free plugin to get the custom loop thereby making it flexible.

Very cool! I learned a lot! Would appreciate a video on how you went about to clean up the dashboard and backend for client that logs in... was it entirely custom coded, or combined with plugin?
