If you are not physically on the dock Then go off duty, but chick with the company you work for to see if they require you to be on duty during that time. but if you are not doing a pre-trip, post-trip ,fueling or something with a DOT officer. You want to go off duty to stop the 70-hour clock, to Savage as many hours as possible for strictly driving, you only get paid when you're driving. you have control over your hours.
