Thank you sir I been driving 2 years and now I fully understand how to scale my truck. My 1st company didn't have to many rules and some how I allways made it through the scales
You're welcome @Cadillac-d6084 glad to have provided so clarity... I wish you much success go forward in your career. Please visit www.thisisebm.com we would appreciate your support.
MANNNN LOOK! YOU DID THAT! I'm currently in training, and I notice my mentor showing and explaining to me how and why move the tandems. I didn't get it but your visual and the direction to move my tractor was DEF on point I'm saving this video and studying it! Thank you dearly! When it's said to move the tandem back I'm like ok so which direction do I move the actual tractor voila you got me on point!
Another great tips for beginners : move the tandems in the direction u want the load to go to , meaning if u want ur load to go to the back move the tandems backwards and vice versa. Good video
Most people run into issues when for example, they’re over on the trailer Tandems and good on Steers and Drives and adjusting the Tandems is a NO due to you’re at the 40’ mark! Can you give example in what will happen to each axle on different scenarios?
@@alisahtikvah3304 that means that you're loaded improperly with all the weight in the back of the trailer, if all the way forward makes you over on the tandems but you're good on the drives and steers, you should have gone back to the shipper because your load is either loaded improperly or you are over 80k or both...only recourse is back to the shipper... ALWAYS scale out ASAP when you are loaded heavy, forklift drivers will mess up, count on it.
Never used a cat scale or had to slide tandems till today. Stopped at the pilot in olympia, WA and watched this tutorial. Video was very easy to understand and to execute instructions. Thank you
Brother, you made this SO SIMPLE! I am starting Trucking school on Tuesday this week and I think you answered a handful of questions I would have had at the beginning. Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video. I'm looking to go into trucking myself in the near future once I retire from the fire department. That 12-34-34 formula is a great tool.
Thanks firefighting25! Thank you for your service as a fire fighter and thanks for watching. I wish you much success in what ever path you take in life.
Probably the BEST way explained along with demonstrations., Awesome Job,!! I’ve watched other clips from other truckers and i’ve heard many different ways, even some clips were well over 15mins long., yours was very easy to understand, clear and straight forward, Again, great job in explaining it👍🏻
This is the most best way to understand how to scale and how to deal with load Thank you sir Can u explain if axle drive over 12.000 how can deal with it ?
@@Thisisebm hey my friend I have one question have you made a video on What if it overweight on the drive axel or the steering axel, how do I rebalance the weight on that case? can you make a video of that or explain here please. your explanation are so awesome than other videos on youtube.
If you count the 1st hole and skip the plate... and then start counting 2.3.4.5.6.7.8 and so on what hole would you say would be your go to hole for under 40 and the hole for over 40 just curious
I have been watching so many videos on backing .. Fifth wheels.. Sliding tandem etc .. I want to say thank you, because I have learned more by watching your videos than 90% of the combined videos I watched
Once you are close enough to whichever hole you're trying to put it in release the pin then pull forward or push back and it should enter the hole you're trying to put it in... Watch the video one more time closely.

Backwards

What if you're overweight in the front and back do I pull Forward first or back up first
Go back to the shipper and get it reworked....
Life saver
Thanks Marrie and thanks for watching
Well put brother, how you doing? Yes,you have to find out how many lbs.is transferred per hole with your company.
Thank you! I'm well thanks for asking. I hope all is well with you and your family.... Visit www.thisisebm.com
Thank you sweetie
Ok but how do I get it in the hole? When I’m by myself. I constantly get out and check but I either get stuck literally a centimeter before the hole
Once you are close enough to whichever hole you're trying to put it in release the pin then pull forward or push back and it should enter the hole you're trying to put it in... Watch the video one more time closely.

So you slide to the problem where the overweight is ? I thought you would push away it’s the total opposite lol ?
REPENT AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST BEFORE ITS TOO LATE 🔴
JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY HOPE ✝️
Yessir
I thought every hole is considered 200 pounds and not 300
thanks for watching! That depends on the company and the trailers they are using. please visit www.thisisebm.com
