Few will want to watch all 2 hours of this, but Edge was one of the reasons I picked up a guitar in the early 80's. You may or may not like U2 (I did and then I didn't) but Edge is a patient interviewee, thoughtful, interested and interesting. He's one of the few musical inspirations I'd want to actually meet in person - so often it is better not to. He suffers some pretty banal and drawn out questions here with good grace and interesting, thoughtful answers. Nice when artists you like don't seem to have feet of clay. Stewart Lee (comedian) and Martin Stephenson (songwriter and performer) both do the same.
Shame he's not had one album where he goes full metal, would be interested in hearing that, U2 haven't been all that good 2000 onwards but in the 90's with that epic Popmart tour they were truly great.

He has definitely aged. Harder to notice when he dresses the same for 30 years and counting
U2 is responsible for some excellent music. Many of their songs have been on the “soundtrack of my life”, that’s for sure.

Imagine the series. Joshua Tree, R&H, Achtung Baby, Zooropa and Pop. Same 4 blokes. Genre mix worth 3 bands. Every album solid.
What I love about the U2 boys is their sense of humour about themselves as a band and individual’s .. they can slag themselves ❤️👍

Me too, I’ve always felt like he’s more than the guy in the hat in u2. Songs like Van Diemens Land made me think there’s so much more depth to him.
