The roof is bollixed on that shed also.
Part of the rent contract was they need to change the slats not the roof.
tis good enough ........will keep most of the rain out ..........
Better than no shed
Space sheeting
You could use the old slats as a base for a lane way
Set them down flat and put a fine stone in between
Hope your fixing the holes in the roof 😂
Better than no shed
Keep your slats, scrape back the turf behind your shed and lay the slats as a track to down the side of the shed, 2 slats wide would give plenty space in a loop, bind together with some stone and you've a concrete road
Very interesting to see how it's constructed. Brilliant stuff
You could use the old slats as strainer posts. Dig a hole and bury in concrete
Those single slats are handy to put in your gateways that get a bit soft.
You could use the slats as fence posts
The slats can be handy for making a crush and pen. Stand a few girders and slot them down into it sideways.
It'll be a nice little cattle shed when you're finished, hopefully it's only a gutter that's leaking into the tanks and not ground water getting in
They are good for corner of passages where the tractor dig in
Good video Phil, things are coming along nicely extra space for cattle always comes in handy the farm is getting bigger by the day.
No doubt someone will welcome them slats for a purpose. Different vid again, mighty workers. Keep 'er Lit
Bro is hard at it again here . What a grafter 👍🏻👍🏻
Use the slats for wet gate ways and soft tracks
That’s a great idea
Great for where your feeding nuts if day
Make the slats in to a roadway
Be a great chance to cut a doorway at each end of centre wall in each tank, and put in a a beam to make it easier to mix the slurry,
Good idea. Get banagher to supply a beam.
those slats would work good for a TEXAS GATE, or raising a field entry point or filling a low spot to drive over that fills with water lay them down like a road
It’s probably been said but though’s old slats would be ideal for tracks, like concrete sleepers.
Use them to make a track, dig topsoil off ,use a little stone then place slats on top make nice track way
👌
Wonderful Farmers of Country Longford just great 👍.Would love to come to see the farm sometime.Simple the best farmer’s in the land .So so good luck 😉.
They are fantastic workers Diane 👍🏻
The extra shed space should come in handy.hopefully it's water coming in and not up from the ground below 🤞
If you had a road saw to cut it out. Single slats cut in half for fencing posts
Little brother loves getting instructions from big bother😂😅🙂🙃😅🤣😂
Great video Phil. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼
You can use them for parking stop
Slats make a nice road, on straight ends with the spacers past the end of each other (without the gap) and in curves the spacers on the outside. Laid directly into mud and smooth it out with a roller, then don't drive on it for 3-4 weeks (on clay maybe longer) and everything will be as hard as stone
New farm coming along with new slates.
Great Video Phil! Interesting project, thanks for sharing
No shortage of straining posts for a while
What were you thinking of Phil , You should have hired a Road saw and cut the edge of the concrete before you took out the slats, job would be done in one hour , one cut each side , Simple!!
Use the old slats and make cow lanes in for moving cattle about ect fill in the gaps with 804. Or use them in your yard for parking machine on as a hard standing.
Be grand shed when it’s fixed up lots would be very happy to have it 👍
Shuda had them in the shop carpark save some fill. Good job all them same.
Make good strainers for fencing or across a drain
Phil you would make a great passage way or bit of a yard with those single slats
Good stuff
Glean the back of your shed with the digger level relay the old slats then pack with pea gravel you’ll have a good turning weatherproof space for your machinery
Great video, would you not sell some of the vintage stuff and buy yourselves a good second hand digger.
You could use them as a concrete lane no fill no stone just straight on the clay
Use the slats for parking bumpers in parking lot
You could use the slats for a pass for tractors etc
Use the slats to form a pad in your tillage ground and blind it with 804 serious job
I have seen people use old slats to make pens put them down between h irons
Make road with slats. Turn slats upside down and fill with 804, last forever.
Use a template of the slat, and only remove what is required...
Can use them for garden edging
fair chance if you are on rocky ground there could be a spring underneath the tank
Build it up and put the slats on the top, deeper tank then.
It's all money these days Phil yere great workers fair play to ye
Any plans for sheeting repairs this year?
People make farm tracks with concrete sleepers
👍👍👍.
Maybe you could use the slats for a farm track bet nobody thought of that 😂
them slats make farm track road or gateway flooring
You’d know the two of ye are brothers 😂
💪💪👌👌🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏👍👍
Straners for fencing Phil
Are you putting the rubber on the slats?
Jackhammer
Would be good job for a soft gap if ya had one or two of them 🤔 😉 😅
Make right corner stakes
why dont u drive the singel slats in the bog do grate job for fincing
First
Where did the yellow paint come from?😂😂
Make a cattle pen out of the slats
Be no harm to examine the walls of the tank to see if they are built with blocks
Price for slats

Those concrete slats would be good railway sleepers for a hobby track 👍.
