@@rishabkhuba2663 He’s deliberately doing the opposite. Wyman’s parts of ADWD show there are houses FIERCELY loyal to the Starks, and making their own moves to return the Starks to power… imagine, Houses so loyal that they seek to figuratively revive yours from the dead instead of taking power for themselves or submitting to new liege lords.
Edit: also, if you’re familiar with the Frey Pies thing Arya did in the show, the books insinuate it was Wyman who fed Freys to the Freys in a meat pie. Just to add to my above point.

@@Nimish_ there's already quite a few. Game Of Throne..Clash Of Kings..Storm Of Swords..A Feast For Crows..A Dance With Dragons..and The Winds Of Winter is currently on the way and "in existence". And then there's Fire & Blood..A World Of Ice & Fire..and the Dunk & Egg novellas. There's already quite a few "in existence", and more will be coming. I've been reading these books since 1998, and since the very first book, it's always taken a long time for them to come out. Sometimes years between books. And when you consider how complex the story itself is, and all of the character arcs are, it makes sense that it takes a long time. And now there are the TV series that he's involved in too. He doesn't have the kind of free time on his hands that you do. Your comment is incredibly ignorant.

And you must have ignored many scenes in season six. The scene with Lord Glover tells exactly where these people stand. They backed Robb and what happened? These people were not really on board with Jon or Sansa until they proved themselves. Sansa understood the assignment, Jon didn't. The North clearly explain their terms. Jon is King period. Jon leaves and doesn't consult with anyone and he returns with a foreign Queen.
What part of WE DON'T WANT AN OUTSIDER RULING US didn't he get?! Their loyalty was to Jon and his loyalty was NOT to them. If he was loyal to them he would've included the people who gave him the title he pissed away, in his decision making.
You all go in on Sansa and The North without acknowledging that their keeping their word to one another, Jon isn't.

She was also an adventurer although, I wanted the Starks to stay together, but after what they had lived through and the losses of their beloved family members they had all toughened up especially Sansa. She was still beautiful, but gone was silly young teen with dreams of marrying a Prince and entered a young woman who learned through humiliation and also learned a lot from Cersei and that helped her grow in every way especially in the understanding of people and the game of politics. She was the biggest surprise to me out of all of them.

Who seemed to have the most common sense? You all call Sansa dumb when she was right! She didn't trust Dany. She didn't trust Cersei.
Stupid is listening to your people state specifically that they don't want a foreign ruler and then your dumbass brings one home and then expect the very people to accept this with a smile?! Jon is a fucking dummy.
Stupid is alienating the people who don't trust you. Don't try to win their allegiance after being warned about what you are going to encounter. Just get upset and never actually show them why you're their best option. Nah, just hide behind the Lord of Winterfell who these folks clearly don't favor.

Stupid is continuosly blaming what a naive 14 year old girl sheltered her entire life for a mistake made years ago, yet, ignore the unending sea of idiots we had in seasons seven and eight.

Also bending the knee to Queen Dany is the right thing to do especially when she could have focused on her wants but focused on the needs of Westeros. Using her assets and resources to protect the North in the Great War especially when the Northerns did nothing but run away and worse pledge to fight but when back on their oaths. The definition of cowards especially when the Northerns did nothing in both Wars except Wildlings, Knights watch, some of the Mormants were the main haul actually fighting. Also it was due to Dany's family and armies why they are still alive.
Sansa was speaking for the North nope just herself because she was willing to sell out her own family at a chance of power. Her character was dead in season 6. Especially her selling out all members of her family to make herself look good 🤦‍♂️.

@@Slingshot521 no, Daenerys was never in it to help. But for revenge of her dragon that died and to get what she thought she was entitled to. It was all to win over the people. She always wanted to be adored and loved above others. Her greatest fault was that she had a messiah complex with narcissist tendencies. And no, Jon did not have to bow to her. He truly only did that because he thought he was in love. He had spent so long lost and forced into a title he did not want. Daenerys was his salvation from that responsibility. Plus there was a bit of a Stockholm going on where Daenerys held him for months not allowing him to contact anyone, only getting letters form the outside. While that was happening Daenerys was working to make herself and her leadership look good to win him over. And by him the North. But she did not understand that the Northerns only picked Jon. He was not entitled to anything. By bending the knee Jon disrespected their wants and the honor they gave him by choosing him to be their king. That is why Lady Lyanna asked Jon what he is now when he came back. Nothing. That is also why Daenerys council encouraged Daenerys to talk to Sansa. Because Sansa was the true power and key to the North. Sansa supported Jon, even when they choose Jon to become king. It was because of Sansas support that the lords choose Jon, but Dannys side saw that the Northern Lords were done with Jon after his actions. Sanss was the Lady or Winterfell and the Dreadford. Two of the biggest and most powerful titles in the North. And unlike Jon, that was Sansa birthright and by marriage. Jons title of King of the North was a landless title just given by honor and respect to him.
The North has always wanted to be free. They never supported King Torrhen Stark bending the knee. They understood it but it was forced onto them. The Targaryens left the North pretty much alone as long as they fought for the Targaryen crown when called. That is why thr Starks were named Warden of the North. It was a military title in name only, tied to no lands and aloud the Warden to call the Northern banners to arms for the crown. When Robert's rebellion happened it angered the Northerns because Robert used them to win his own war. While the North was angry that their own lord and Heir was killed brutally. They lost the most people in that war. That is where the Northern started to push away from the rest of the kingdom and they saw a way to get their freedom when Robb took them to war in the 5 kings. It was the Northerns who chooseto crown Robb and then Jon.

@@Slingshot521 were did Sansa every try to take power? Other then Arya accusing her of this, Sansa never actively did anything of the sort. Up until even end she supported Jon. She may not have agreed with his choices but she stood behind him. She even called the banners to march down south to get Jon back. And unlike Jon or anyone of her family, Sansa literally bleed for the norths independence. Everytime the Robbs army won she was beat for it. Her own wish as a child was to marry and be a good wife and queen to her king. Her journey was in understanding what being subservient to others truly ment to her own person and her own wants and dreams. She represents the Norths cause and the suffering for their freedom. The North struggles are based of off Scotlands own true history with Britain. Just like Dorne is off of Wales.

@@misty3195 I'm sorry did you actually say Dany wasn't in it to help. You mean when she put aside her wants and focused on what Westores needs. The same Dragon Queen who liberated Essos from slavery, saved Westores from a fate far worse than death, and the same one outside the gates of KL suing for peace just hand her sister and step away from the throne that's all. You must be trolling or capping because that was the biggest lie I ever heard.
Please you have got to be kidding me. Dany who listened to her small council withheld herself back she knew destroying the NK was key. Also did you actually say Dany was narcissistic, seriously you must be trolling because the only one who talks that category are Joffery, Cersei, Ramsey, Tywin, Ramsey, Roose, Walder Frey, Tyrion, Sansa, and Varys. The same people calling out loyalty but the main one disloyal, know at alls, and acted like they made a difference, and even to the point stuck in their old ways
Did you actually say Jon disrespected the Northerns by bending the knee to Dany. The fact is he did the correct thing to stand beside a True Queen and ruler protecting their sorry and worthless ass. The same one's who couldn't even stand against the Boltons but now they have a voice and the audacity to stand strong for their own land. Please nothing but fools, hypocrites, and cowards the only one's there that weren't are Wildlings and Mormants.
Sansa was not the key of The North because she didn't care whatsoever about the people. No one needs to check in with her she was a mere copy of Cersei the same one who thought she was everything but lower than dirty. The Northerns did nothing at all to basically have a voice in their independence especially when everyone who defended their land they still had extreme prejudice towards. The Wildlings and Mormants are the one's who did everything for them. Even to the point offering the asylum was off the table. They didn't even defend the Northerns land but you claim they are entitled a voice 🤦‍♂️.

@@Rub-Rub1 not really. Jon made his own problems by being stupid. He didn't want to fight for Winterfell or against the Boltons and it was Sansa who forced the issue. Jon truly wanted to leave and never come back after he was betrayed by the nights watch. He did not want to rule and gave it up as soon as he had the chance, even when he didn't have to bow to Daenerys. She had already pledged to fight the dead. And by doing that he lost all respect from the Northerners by selling them to another against their wishes. His actions betrayed his own family and the Northerners trust they put in him when they gave him the crown. To add to this Jon did the exact same thing that Robb did when he fall in love. And Jon was gone for months while leaving Sansa in charge with no news, and only comes back after a quick letter about how he bent the knee to Daenerys. Then he went alone with Daenerys to Kingslanding. Taking the few Northern men left to fight right after the long night and when they and Daenerys army was hurt and tired. After years of the North being devastated by wars. Which is exactly why the Northern lords fought so hard for independence from a leader who was hundreds of miles away and an outsider who just used them to fight in their own wars. The Northern lords were tired of that since Robert's rebellion and where many of the houses lost their sons to that war.

She was nowhere near north since now. If it wasn't for Sansa, the king in the north choosen for misogynist reasons, would have been somewhere on the battle ground dead. What's more it's her birth right, she deserve it more than a bastard. Him going over the wall to do stupid things to convince cersei and then surrendering himself to a queen because she lost her dragon because of his stupidity doesn't make him suitable for being king.
