Hey Seth I commented this a couple weeks ago but I don't if you saw it. You should try reviewing oval chain rings. Supposedly it makes it easier to climb hills.
Seth and Alex when there hanging out together working or riding always makes me so happy for some reason they just seem like amazing and fun people and always gets a smile or laugh from me
For heat dissipation it's important to house LED strips within a small aluminium extrusion. This helps for heat dissipation, increases LED lamp life and avoids peeling of the tape. It's also more safe! I'm leaning on my 10yrs in lighting consultancy to engineers and architects here 😁 Love the van though!

Your van might have 2 recall on it . A shifter cable is one of the recall parts. Also on your air filter housing you might want to check for rust on the screw retaining holes, the screws can get weak and can snap off, grease them
I've been catching up on your videos the last few days. Your van is an impressive build. Very productive friendly and functional. Yet simple and to the point. I've yet to actually watch any of your other videos as the van build has kept me thoroughly entertained. Great job! 5 stars!!

So, obviously the video is bad ass..... But I think the coolest thing is how good of friends you are and how Seth is what seems to be more then happy to help you out. Very cool !!!!!! Well done !
When you are driving, it would be very beneficial to keep the monitor fastened to the wall. If the arm its swung out, tha moniot is going to apply a very large torque on the wall due to the long lever arm and large rotational inertia. This could mean the monitor ripping out of the wall. If the moniotr is fastened to the wall, it will apply no torque since its on the axis of rotation. The only thing you will have to worry about is the screws being able to hold the weight of the monitor.
He didn't explain it but I'm pretty sure that's the purpose of those blue spongy things at 12:12. If they fill in the gaps it would wedge the monitor between the desk and the cabinet just with friction.
i will second this , i have 4 monitors on amazon basics monitor arms mounted to a plywood wall in my van and ive had to bungie them against the wall when i drive. I use screw eyes and bungies
I would have another thin bit of plywood to put over the front of the monitor when it's against the wall to create another fake wall and keep the monitor secret, and not have to look at it all the time when not in use
when you place your laptop in the sleeve like that, you should ensure that the underside hinge is exposed. having your laptop closed in an insulating space like that is not good for it without proper airflow will cause them to overheat and be slow
Thats a great upgrade! I also saw my sticker at 2:00 With all the virus crap going on, it makes me miss the days when we could just go meet up for a ride with a bunch of people. I hope we can do that again one of these days!
Can't give this enough likes! Thats awesome man! You're lucky to have a friend like Seth! Your video editing has come a long way from bikepacking and it keeps getting better. Best wishes to you!
I wish I had Seth's practical skills and ability to problem solve. He always comes off as a really cool guy ready to help his friends. Congrats on the van upgrades!
i am so glad i found Seth's and yours channel. the content you both put out never dissapoints no matter what the video is about and you both have really great positivity
I see a lot of people who say they work 8hrs a day on the computer in their van and it’s just hard to believe when you see what they are sitting in. This is by far the best computer work station set up I have seen. But I personally would love to see one that accommodates two computer screens and a larger desk which would probably need some kind some kind of hinge extension

I was just watching the van tour of hannas van from before you even got your van and it would be extremely cool to still put a pop top on the van. In your video about hannas van you mentioned how you would want to have multiple people able to stay in the van at once and that would be a good way to. You could only use the pop top when someone else is there and you could only use the bed/couch when someone is there. It’s not the most logical thing to do but would be super sick.
Alex love the van super slick! If it’s not too much of a hassle you should try painting all the wood panels white with some grey areas to give it the modern feel to match the monitor
