  • I must apologise for the hitch in the voice-over at 1:30 , I am not sure quite what happened but I hope it does not spoil your enjoyment too much. The number of finches visiting our gardens has increased over recent years partly due to the shortage of natural food in the wild and the increase in the use of nyjer seed and sunflower hearts in garden feeders. There has been a significant increase in the Goldfinch, Siskin & Brambling numbers visiting our gardens and a staggering over ten fold increase in the number of Redpolls.
