THANK GOODNESS FOR YOUR VIDEO!🙏 I just installed a fork stem mount from RAM on my R1 I’ve ran RAM on all my bikes, but it didn’t feel secure enough for my comfort, I will most definitely be getting quad lock!

You definitely want to get the vibration damper if you use the camera on your phone.

I will probably go back later and grab the vibration damper

I would of got the case for your phone. It feels more secure. I only put the case on when I’m riding because I have a lifeproof case already. That adaptor you have feels like the wind cold etc will impact the effectiveness over time and it won’t stick as good. Definitely get vibration dampener. After you get the mount in the desired location you are suppose to lock it into place or wind will move it.

Bet! I’ll go back later to get the case and I’m looking at also grabbing the dampener

I just posted a comment on the video. Just a heads up those cases are junk. You might be better off since you’re putting the phone in the case just to ride but you may actually wear it out faster that way because the flaw is the sides of the case is just flimsy rubber with no support (even my $15 Spigen case has rubber moulded around plastic supports for the sides of the case so they don’t flex too much and break over time, just the tiny bit of movement from daily use was enough to break both sides of the case, it stars at the buttons and radiates out from there to the bottom of the phone on both sides. Told them about it they denied it’s an issue that they’re aware of.

Anyway be careful to stretch the sides as little as possible when you’re putting the phone in/taking it out, because I only took it out a few times my whole time owning it and both sides still broke 😑

your phone fell off the RAM mount cause you didn't have the rubber security on

Talking about the little straps? No and yea that could’ve also been a reason

Fair warning, the cases are TRASH. Even the plastic mount is solid enough, but the case is junk and the sides are not supported at all so they wear and crack/break over time. I’m super disappointed in that, they won’t stand behind their product either, their super short warranty is just long enough that your case shouldn’t be dying yet for the average person.
RokForm wasn’t really on my radar but now it just for the case, the biggest downside is already you have to use these companies cases, so that case better be good. I see you went a different route and stuck a universal mount on a 3rd party case but that’s wayyyy too bulky for me. Is that going to be your case you keep the phone in all the time ? That universal mount damn near doubles your phone width so it’s a pain in Jean pockets and whatnot. Going to try RokForm now since the case is decent but all these choices are less than ideal :/
