The Crunchyroll segment reignited my frustration with this service.
The crunchyroll news is due to an insane rise of anti-lgbt review and comment bombing that's started popping up on the site in the last couple of months.
Not like anything will be missed just a bunch of complaints or spoilers maybe it will encourage more people to fly the Jolly Rogers only thing that matters on any platform is a low rating. I think the worse part of Crunchyroll is still doesn't have Japanese subtitles.
And we have to deal with them in the west for all anime streamer as they own the whole market now

Ah Crusader of Centy. It was my childhood pretty much among so many Sega classics and it's what drove me to love VGMs in general and gaming as a whole. And I didn't even know about zelda for another 10 years. A full HD release would be a dream. Thanks for the vid!
When I read "Cities Skylines II Console" first thing I thought is they were introducing a command console, that's how relevant gaming consoles are to me now, lol.
Ahh no, Consoles don't even let you access the command/dev part of it unless you knew how to activate it in the first place.
I don't think most games on PC event let you so that nowadays. Only probably a select few like indies or someone open it up with mods.

Gamefusion is a little different compared to any Windows Emulator to date. it supports Proprietary Driver. Though im sure its gonna use either Box64 or Fex as core

Suggestion for any laptop good for emulation upto wiiU under 360$
Your only real choice is a laptop using one of AMD's G chips; no other integrated graphics come close. Even the 3200G - a 5 year old chip at this point, and the lowest spec chip of the G line - will get you decent performance in most games; search YT for 'CEMU 3200g' and you'll find plenty of videos on it.
If you can, make sure that whatever you buy allows you to upgrade the RAM and HDD. Especially with older laptops, a RAM upgrade is usually very affordable and gives a decent boost to performance in my experience - especially if using integrated graphics. If you get a laptop with a mechanical HDD, switching to an SSD will get you a nice performance improvement as well.
i have/had a bunch of xiaomi appliances and they are great (scooter/fan/vacuum/rice cooker/air fryer/security cam/smart switches). the software-side of their phones is bad however. i run custom firmware on many of them.

I used Waydroid last year and it was ok. I mostly used it for GTA 3 mobile version and it ran fine
I've bought from Xiaomi twice. Both were tablets. I have no complaints to make about them as a company and as a buyer. I was happy with the build quality and overall specs for the price I paid both times.

getting rid of comments on Crunchy makes perfect sense. Like you said, unless they wanted to (actually do some work...) which they didn't obviously, so they just kicked the can down the street so someone else can take care of it. Don't feel bad about that bad pun, it was about as accurate as anything regarding Embracer.

Crunchyroll doesn't want criticism of their spotty quality streams, price increases, and other gripes. This is not befitting of a decently run company and turn more people to piracy real quick if they don't return comments.
There were a lot of good comments in the Crunchyroll comments section. Sad. This is how you devalue your own service. It's a lot easier to quit Crunchyroll now that there is no longer a sense of community there - not that I am threatening to do that any time soon.

My understanding is that Crunchyroll shutting off comments is in response to a recent spat of bigot brigading.

Tears of the Kingdom is unplayable on Ryujinx for me. After 10 hours with random crashes and glitches, I hit a roadblock where I could not progress any longer. And had to switch to Yuzu. Not only can I progress again, no crashes occured once and less glitches. Plus I can use 60 fps mod, which did not work well on Ryujinx. I have 36 hours on Yuzu now.
However I want to use Ryujinx for everything else on my PC.
Gamesir makes good controllers, but I can't trust them when it comes to emulators because they have a shady switch emulator

Their software also sucks. They never fix the calibration bug that makes one of the analog triggers unresponsive on my X2 Pro. Waste of 50 bucks

Companies like Microsoft and Embracer that have either been shown to have issues with profitability or to have a habit of layoffs should be banned from acquiring be companies.
Anyone thinking that it's a good idea for Sudachi to fight against a dmca takedown, thinking that this is gonna be a clean case in sudachi's favor. Needs to know Nintendo is only DMCAing so many emulators because they want someone dumb enough to challenge them, when it goes into their favor; it's gonna ruined it for everyone else.

I'm using Poco f5 from Xiaomi great specs but if you want to get one root it, they unlock the bootloader in the most anti consumer way ever and the phone comes with lots of app ads
Thankfully I've rooted mine and added a custom recovery I'm glad I did ho no more chinese company sucking out my data anymore
In conclusion great phone but only if you root them and add a custom recovery to flash custom roms or apps up to you :3
The loss of Piranha Bytes is a huge blow to gaming. All this consolidation of game development studios into enormous mega-corps has been absolutely terrible for gaming in general.

@@jonatan_1991 I'm not sure. I assume that Adreno uses the same GPU tech for their Windows chips, but I'm not sure. I don't know a great deal about Arm for Windows.

Xiaomi prices are bad comparatively if theyre just under 1k usd. 16gb ram isn't great either. You could get really good 8 gen 3s for 7-800$ when they were new.

I have a OnePlus phone right now, the next time I need a phone, I'm gonna get a Sony Xperia
SONY is losing money with Crunchyroll due to the quality of anime skyrocketing into worse with each season and most of the good stuff ending always on Netflix and Disney+ (both don't mind to pay more for the better shows), that's the only reason why they're going ahead with this.
This also means that they don't need to pay to someone to do Q.C. on comments (as in a proper moderation team that understands a bunch of different languages) nor another to check if the auto-filter is working as it should all the time. It saves them money since they need to do cuts everywhere to keep that place profitable.
People get really nasty in the comment sections of platform, whether private or public. I don't blame Crunchyroll. They probably got tired of it.

The closest I have come to seeing the comments section used in an unconstructive way is when people whined about subtitles not being added quickly enough. Other than that, I found the CR comments section to be a great place full of good humour.
Have you had any experiences on CR that have led you to feeling this way - or are you just making assumptions based on CR's justification for removing comments?
I'm sure that from time to time comments have been left that have required moderation - but I've not seen it myself, so they must be a tiny minority of overall comments.
@@captainthunderbolt7541 Nah, I've never been there, so I am potentially making unwarranted assumptions about the Crunchyroll comments section without having been there or used it myself. The assumption is based on the comment sections of every platform that I have used, which can get very very nasty to the point where threads have to be closed, and I'm talking about video game, formula one, and many other types where people resort to deep, personal attacks. People are just that way in general so I was making a generalization of the Crunchyroll comments section, sort of lumping it in as well. If you say that it isn't like that then I have no basis for which to argue.

If you went through with a fine tooth comb then no doubt you would occasionally find stuff that needed moderation (that just stands to reason) - but it definitely wasn't an overly toxic place. Comments were mostly just people's impressions about the episode of anime they had just watched.

Regarding the CR removal of comments from all media on their platform, the comment system was never needed. Look at any of the big streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney, and Hulu. None of them have ever had it and have operated just fine.
Not really a matter of whether it was needed or not. It's clear they removed it to censor criticism, which is unacceptable.
The Crunchyroll comments section was a great place. Of course it wasn't needed, but it sure was a nice value-add. How many of the things that you enjoy are actually "needed"?

Crunchyroll thing is very obvious thats its coming from the Japanese studios. In Japan they don't have a concept of free speach, and fair use. Its basically the creater has 100% control of their art and, software games and animation. They generally don't like to see any comments that are out of pocket, sexual, or negative towards them. Most are offended by neutral comments cause they feel it can be daming to their brand. So don't blame crunchyroll their hand was likely forced.
Or they got called out for using MTL for translations and didn't want to deal with the heat.
