You mention the fuel economy is only 5-10% better. But you forgot to say that’s running 87 octane when the L6 400 required premium fuel. This is a huge savings monetarily even if they both burned the exact same amount. Premium verse regular fuel is 25% difference in cost. And it seems the V10 is better performing as well.
When I see these press days for Murcury, I can't help but feel it's a stitch up. All these boats on test are owned by the same group that owns Murcury. I mean they even own Quintrex here in Australia too.

@@FishingMonthly My mistake about Quintrex. Although Murcury and all the brands in the video are owned by Brunswick, which also own the Navico brands.
Two of the three boats we ride in in the video are not owned by Brunswick.
