I really like your videos. I like the card idea under lid. What about the drones above the queen excluder. Are you letting them escape out the center top of the inner cover out the entrance notch on your inner cover ?
Hi Hank! We do let the drones escape through the inner cover notch, but some inner covers have a notch that is too shallow for them to go out. Then they die in the supers, which is sad, and we try to avoid that happening. Another way to let them out is to always move one super back about a drone's width so they can escape.
