I have also found that bigger brood Chambers produce more honey. At least where I am. Thanks for all your videos. Not sure how you can use those baggy finger gloves though. LOL Seems hard to find gloves where the fingers aren't too long.

It was a frustrating year with most of the nucs being behind last year by two weeks....order early to get the first ones I make!

I think Ian wins the prize for super hives. I am sure some of hives hives produce over 400 pounds of honey. If I get 100 from my hives I am thrilled.
Yes, one of those mediums could have 35 pounds of honey, but the box and frames can push the weight to 55-60 pounds.
What treatment are you using for the mites?

LOL Ian's hive make mine look like nucs! With the heat I have had to use HopGuard III.

Fields and fields of canola will do that for sure.

@@MinnesotaBeekeeper truth. I wonder if it actually taste good. My wildflower honey is unreal floral and delicate. I just couldn't picture one nectar source is gonna be that good.

You mention an inspection yet you pass up all the supers that you state are full of honey without showing them to us

Noted, When I say inspection I generally thing brood chamber. I guess I forgot just how great it is to look into a super full of capped honey. Thanks for the reminder!

If you wish to watch other videos be my guest. FYI that colony probably had 100,000 bees every box was full of bees before adding the fume boards.
