Man ive been bumping Nat all last year. Songs like Pray for rain or Heart like a scroll have been on repeat for months. So good.
You know, man, I've benn digging your videos recently and they are amazing. You are one of the few who teach what blues is all about. Well done, truly great job. As a suggestion I would really like to see a side of improvisation to this great blues songs so we can make our own licks and riffs out of em. Keep up the grind cause your videos are awesome
Love Nat Myers! Thanks so much for making a video about him 💙
Thanks for the introduction to some new music.
Thank you Heath for turning me on to this artist!
Nat Myers’s current album - Yellow Peril - inspired me to finally buy a dobro … haven’t done a lot with it yet but it sounds great. Keep breaking down the hill country blues for us knuckle heads.
I want to thank you for introducing me to Nat Myers. He is now among my top favorites for blues music
Thats great! He's really great to listen to! Thanks for watching and commenting!
love your channel. you give so much knowledge all around the guitarplanet and very humble presentation. symphatic
So good. Love it.
Yes sounds really good, thank you
Love to see young people, keep’n that old music alive
I ve become a huge Nat Myers fan since this video! Even corresponded with him a bit. I want to send him some Dave Snaker Ray and Smoky Babe stuff but gotta wait til the moment is right. Nat's music here is rooted from Robert Petway's Catfish Blues, 1941, as filtered down through the great bluesmen since then.
Don't leave out the master player❤❤
Thank you for shainrg this. Love this, and I am so happy to see young people immerse themselves in this tradition. Yes, there is hope for humanity.
New suff, thanks, and again you are giving great tabs
Yeahhhh ! Thanks for this vidéo. I love the music of Nat Myers as your work on UA-cam 👍
This channel is amazing.
Joe Beard is a legend in Rochester New York. Neighbor and friend of Son House in the day. Joe is a true blues master. Why is he not famous? So incredibly deep and original
It's a great thing today to have these sheets of music to refer to however back in the day all they had was a desire to express their bleeding heart and beautiful blues soul❤❤❤
He has his own full album out now Yellow Peril, it's excellent
Oooooh yes
Gets no better than JUKE joint blues ❤
You re doing great work man, i just discovered your channel.
I played acoustic blues (delta/hill country) for about 6 years, and I had to learn from watching and listening to masters and figure out how they play. IT was a really hardtask , cuz they were not much youtubers that focus on this type of blues.
But thanks man, you're doing great job.
Glad you like my lessons! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Cool video man!! I highly recommend you check out a guy named buster b Jones, he's an awesome country blues musican who unfortunately passed away young but is still worth checking out for his unique skill🙌
Im wondering if you can please do a video on Robert Pete Williams "im blue as a man can be"
Thanks - this is great. Totally agree about Nat Myers, he's got such a pure sound. This song is a bit advanced for me though... any chance you can do a similar style video/version of something like Nat's song Duck N'Dodge?
Thanks for the Highlands of Scotland 🤠
I can hear some Charley Patton in there
He's got sort of a Charlie Patton thing going on.
