The simple solution would not to allow Migrants here in the first place. I stood behind an illegal in my local surgery he could hardly speak any English no doubt a translator would be sent for, then i realised he is taking the place of a Brit , A Brit who like me worked and paid into the system and now cannot get a doctors appointment. I've waited over a month with raging toothache, I got to an emergency dentist who just filled it temperarily, that fell out a fortnight ago, I've been in agony and told I had to wait until 21 bearing in mind I'd been waiting for about 6weeks altogether, I can't talk My jaw is so painful, why are we being treated like we are a 3rd world country just left to literally rot! Get these 'People' gone from our country they are the cause of our failing health system, they are no better than scrounging criminals.

The ex PM of Iceland declared he did not understand why Britain was even bothering with Rwanda at all. He said we had a legal right to send them straight back to France and that's what we should do. The NHS and the Welfare State were established, originally, for a native population numbering up to 53m. Well, our population is WAY in excess of what the govt says at 70+m more like 90+. So yes everything is now stretched and at breaking point, and so is our patience and our tolerance.
Quite right a welfare state usually does not work with open borders.
Originally the welfare state was to help you out when you were between jobs. After six weeks it stopped, unlike the benefits system today where it’s a lifestyle choice for lazy people.

I was there a few times in the 90s, didn't stay long, just dropping off UN stuff, but having been to most of Black Africa I can say it seemed like one of the better ones. In my experience anywhere in Africa that isn't West is do-able.

The man talking about the Calais camps is also, very misinformed. Those migrants that live in camps, do so out of choice for the simple reason, they do not want to claim asylum in France. From the moment they claim asylum, they are taken into the French States care and looked after in the same way as they are in the U.K.. But, if they claim asylum in France, they can’t claim it in the U.K., which is where they really want to be. So they camp by the port of Calais, in the hope of being smuggled across.
This also shows that IF they really were fleeing for their lives, they’d be more than happy to live in France. Jeez, most wealthy middle and upper class just love having a second home in France, so it can’t be that bad can it?

As an Island Nation with much limited space and resources we cannot accept anymore migrants, legal or otherwise. The answer is employ more immigration officers. Get the migrants processed quickly. Send back the ones who have no right to be here and get the one with right to stay in employment and contributing to society the way the majority of British citizens do.

The Tories are certainly processing them quickly enough they are just letting them stay. Bear in mind that they came here illegally. You really should give these people anonymity. Too many places of employment are prepared to sack people for speaking in clear terms about this. I don't blame the Tories for the relentless rejection of every proposed solution yo the problem. I blame the liberal left judiciary, the liberal left in Parliament (including some Tories, the HoL, the EU and civil service. But where I do bleme the Tories and cannot forgive them is their failure to enact Brexit in full and withdraw from the ECHR. For that reason they have lost my vote. We are in real trouble. James Cleverely said in his speech after the dismissal by the Supreme Court to migrants being sent to Rwanda.
Two words of great importance - “ but UK”.
The new treaty with Rwanda will state that illegal migrants sent there will not be returned by Rwanda to their own country or any country “ but the UK”.
That tells me that we may in the future be back to square one.
Any ‘ blips’ there might be with Rwanda, the migrants will be returned to the UK.
What expenditure to the country there will be sending them there, without now facing the Financial possibility of bringing them back. Into hotels again etc. etc. . I think Sunak & Cleverley should be made to review the wording of their new treaty with Rwanda. Otherwise this will not work and potential problems lie ahead.

🦘 so now we have a problem in my country with escalating numbers of immigrants, including from the UK, escaping here and helping to escalate our house prices, block up our roads, schools and hospitals, etc etc. And we have an even worse problem than the UK because being the direst continent in the world we have now run out of water and need desal plants off our coastlines to provide water for an ever increasing population.
People returning to Australia after visiting the UK reckon it's totally buggered. I cycled throughout the UK in 1978 and studied in Surrey in 1987 and it was sinking under the weight of people then, so I can only imagine how horrendous it is now ... and especially in terms of your cultural demise. How stupid we are.
